CUSTOMER BEWARE! Yesterday was a disaster at Ghost Kitchen. I placed two orders for logistical reasons, one for pickup at 11:19, one for 11:45. When I arrived at the parking lot around 11:20, there were 12 people waiting, most of them angry. No staff would open the door for the first 15 mins I was there, more people kept arriving for food and very few orders trickled out the door. There were nearly 20 people waiting in the parking lot by noon. The staff is unwilling or unable to provide ANY information while you stand in the heat and your lunch break passes by. They would call out one name through the cracked door, hand over that bag and shut/lock the door without saying anything to the rest of us. Never - "I'm sorry, we're running behind, I'm working on so-and-so next." ZERO communication while 20 people stood in the sun. UNACCEPTABLE. We had paid for the food in advance, so we were trapped. I finally received my two bags at 12:10, one 50 mins late, one 25 mins late and the salad dressings were missing (bags are stapled and I was in a hurry and late so I left without checking). So, I brought my boss his lunch 30 mins after his break ended and gave it to him to eat in an active meeting without salad dressing. You cannot keep taking orders if you don't have the staff to keep up, or the pickup times have to be adjusted to reflect the pace you can make the orders. The "ghost kitchen" no service thing DOESN'T WORK if you can't hold up your end the bargain to hand over the food at/near the designated time. Some people waited over an HOUR late and got ZERO update or explanation during that time. Someone has to be on site to keep order and communicate if there is a problem. When the system breaks down completely, somebody has to say SOMETHING to the mass of people outside your door. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! read more
