I highly recommend Cocktails Catering! I used them for my wedding at Paradise Cove and everything was exceptional and tasty. Brittany Albright was great at communication and had a wonderful initial tasting event for us from the start. They truly are the WHOLE package as they have food, linens, tableware, drinkware, buffet staff, bartenders, etc. It was so easy to have everything under one contract. They communication and punctuality was perfect and I couldn't have asked for more. I will definitely use cocktails catering again!

Wedding Menu Tasting

My fiancé and I are getting married on 2/22/2020 and Cocktails Catering was the preferred caterer for our venue. It was no question as to who we wanted to go with after we got a look at the menu and what they offer. From the start Alycia was excellent, she's very informative and helpful. Wedding planning can be really stressful but she made this process so easy and enjoyable! We booked a tasting and they kindly allow 2 additional guests so my fiancé and I brought along my parents for second opinions. The chef came out and explained each and every dish and sauce in great length. You can really see how passionate he is about the quality of his food. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and the hardest part was deciding what to serve. My fiancé is Colombian so it was important for us to add a little Latin flair to the menu, which was very easy to accommodate. Being that my venue works so frequently with Cocktails Catering I breathed a huge sigh of relief when hearing them explain the day of process. 5 stars for amazing service, impeccable food and a wonderful experience. I have been sure to recommend Cocktails Catering to all of my brides to be and just anyone who is in need of catering services. You won't be disappointed!

5 Stars for a full service catering company that brings the professionalism every time. I've worked with Cocktails on a few events and have been incredibly impressed. First off, I love the ability to hire them for bar service, food, linens, all kinds of event tables, etc etc. it truly feels like a one-stop shop. Every experience with their staff has been exceptional as well. From the first quote to the last linen being collected after the event everything was no-hassle and friendly. It's clear that the staff enjoys working for this company! The truest test that makes me certain of the 5 stars is the fact that they are always the first to come to mind when I need a caterer. It's simple, but there really is no hesitation!

WOW! So professional and friendly, what a pleasure to work with. I had a 400 person event I was planning and Cocktails Catering was suggested to me by The Heaven Event Center as a preferred vendor so I reached out to them. Avery was the main contact I worked with and he was so passionate and excited about his business that I knew I wanted them to be part of my event. We met at their warehouse which is also a tasting and experience set up. You can schedule a small tasting event or just go in for one on one food or drink tastings. They will work with you on whatever you want and make sure your event is special. For my event we went with a live cooking station with fresh bruschetta and ceviche, yum. Also, there was a full martini bar with over 10 different options to choose from. They went above and beyond. Also, the staff was phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend working with Avery and the entire staff at Cocktails Catering.

**1 Star**…read more Unfortunately, our experience with Diamond Event Venue for my sister's quinceañera was very disappointing. From the beginning, we repeatedly asked about the decorations and what would be included with the package we paid for. We were consistently told to look at their Instagram and were told that we would discuss the decorations about three months before the event. When we finally met to discuss everything, we were surprised to find out that many of the decorations we wanted would cost extra, even though the package we originally chose included the venue and decorations. We understand that additional decorations can have an additional cost, but we were not given clear examples of what decorations were actually included in our package. We also felt pressured to upgrade to another package that we did not want. In the end, we paid more for the decorations we wanted. Unfortunately, the decorations on the day of the quinceañera did not look anything like what we expected or what we had discussed. We specifically wanted large, beautiful bows and even sent pictures showing the size and style we wanted. What we received were very small balloon bows that looked extremely cheap compared to what we paid for. For such an important event, this was very disappointing. Another issue was the way the owner interacted with our guests. We were told that she needed to be at the venue the entire time, which we completely understood. However, she sat directly in front of the entrance for most of the event with a very unwelcoming attitude. Several of our guests commented that they felt uncomfortable and judged by her and her employee. We even offered them food and drinks because we wanted everyone working the event to feel comfortable and welcomed. Things became even more frustrating when we were told there were more guests than we had paid for. We were repeatedly told that people kept coming through the doors. This was not accurate. We had several teenagers and children who were going outside to look at sport cars and then coming back inside. They were already part of our invited guests. Everyone had a seat, and no one was standing because there were not enough seats. When the dancing started, everyone was seated and enjoying the event. Despite this, our security deposit was withheld because of the claim that we had more guests than we paid for. We strongly disagree with that claim and do not believe it was a fair reason to keep our deposit. We have rented from **Imperial Design Hall** in the past, and our experience with them was completely different. They were amazing, professional, and we never had any issues with them. **I 100% recommend Imperial Design Hall.** The only reason we chose Diamond Event Venue this time was because we wanted something closer to us. Looking back, we should have just driven the extra distance and stayed with a venue that we already knew was professional and reliable. This was supposed to be a very special day for our family, and unfortunately, dealing with this venue added unnecessary stress. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Diamond Event Venue. If you are considering booking with them, make sure you get everything regarding your package, decorations, additional charges, guest count, and security deposit clearly documented in writing before your event.

South Eola, Thornton Park

4 Stars for location, location, location!…read more Eola House is a historic 1924 house-turned-rental space owned by the city, right by Lake Eola. It may seem like an odd sight in the middle of the park, but in fact it used to exist in a line of historic homes that were taken down for the park expansion. Now it sits alone, right off of the walking path surrounding the Lake. The home is lovely and features a sunroom, living room, parlor, outdoor terrace, upstairs area with a balcony, bridal changing room, and more. Recently I went for a lunch meeting in their upstairs space, the Summerlin Room ($75/hr rental with a 2 hr min). It was a lovely spot and fit our group of fifteen perfectly. I'll admit that I had been to the house once before to help with another event and the room wasn't set to the specifications agreed upon so we had to move and reset the chairs and tables right before the meeting. I remember the event organizer was quite annoyed... Hopefully it was a fluke! Side note- There is no elevator and the stairs are quite narrow. This is worth mentioning in case your event includes someone with mobility issues or who uses a wheelchair. As I was heading out I stopped in a room by the front and appreciated the array of pamphlets set up- ranging from history of the house to an Orlando biking map. There were also tourist pamphlets with the typical attractions (presumably for out of town guests of weddings of meetings). Overall, this is a beautiful meeting/event space that is priced reasonably and located in the heart of the city.

You really can't get a more picturesque spot than this. On the day we visited the flowers were blooming and swans wandered the grounds. Today the house is owned by the City of Orlando and they rent it for reasonable rates for private events like parties and weddings. A full listing of the prices can be found on their website. In addition the house has a welcome center and park offices. On the day I visited the house was closed and I could only peak through the windows. This looks like a fabulous venue for weddings and outdoor parties on the lawn.
