I was told by a mechanic at a garage in Alliance that my brake pads on a H3 hummer were at 10-15%…read moreand needed to be replaced. I thought I would get these replaced and also brakes on a second vehicle (Qx80). When Jesse arrived, he first checked the Infiniti and showed me that the pads still had many months of life. He then checked the H3, but after removing the tires, showed me with calipers that the thickness was well in the green and there was a long way to go before they needed replacement. He suggested that I continue driving both vehicles and recommended reevaluating in 9-12 months and not take the vehicle to that garage again, (they also recommended new shocks and maybe tires). Jesse thought the tires were ok currently. Of note, I called Nubrakes about 9 months ago for the Infiniti for squeaking, and the technician at that time told me the pads were fine. It seems all the honest techs are with NuBrakes!!
