Quoted me for a rear brake and rotor replacement for $100 less than Toyota's price. Great service and staff.

Went to get an alignment assessment. They told me before I arrived that it might be difficult to get later in the day, but I went at that time anyway. I did not get an actual assessment, but they didn't charge me anything. All they said is it looks like all the parts are there, but they can tell where it looks like the original alignment has been adjusted. I did not get a lot of information or help and have to come back if I want something concrete. read more

Good fast service. They will fix your car no worries, It was a bit pricey for labor but all and all good service.

Had brake work done elsewhere and front wheels shaking badly. After attempting unsuccessfully to resolve at other shop, Dallas B&A found the problem and gave me couple options to remedy. I am much pleased with their quality of work and honesty. read more

I was in a pinch and needed my brakes checked ASAP so that I could get on the road. Alex understood the assignment and was super helpful, professional, FAST and reasonably priced! This is now MY auto shop! read more

I called about a quick fix for my tire pressure and Caleb got me right, this place is known for great service!

Been here all of twice, the first time it was a small job. I had a flat tire and was in a pinch, I was driving a mini van at the time and apparently the tire wasn't super common but they assured me they would look but most likely didn't have it. When they came back they told me not only did they find one but the job was completely free along with the tire. And that they would feel wrong charging for it since it took such little time and resources. Amazing people and place. Not only this but today, I had to have my car towed into their shop assuming it was an alternator, battery or starter issue. However when they inspected the vehicle they notified me that they were unable to complete the job due to it being complicated electronic issues, and that the dealership would be better suited. This. This is character and quality. The integrity of this shop being honest with me and admitting when to pass a job into a more specialized place is extremely respectable. read more

Had to go all around Dallas asking for an alignment, many shops had advertised it but non of them would actually do one, it was the same story every time if it wasn't because of my tires it was because their machine was broken or they discontinued it. Thankfully my last stop would be the best & last, as soon as I showed up to Dallas Brakes and Alignment they were very friendly people who immediately attended me & gave me a date and time they could work on it (which was the very next day early in the morning) I want to write this review cause I'm truly thankful for the service & it's outstanding people. All at a good Value. read more

Outstanding customer service, some of the best in Dallas of any business. Alex scheduled me in on the same day and had the (complicated) job completed within four hours. It was clear the customer satisfaction focus is employee wide, not just at the front desk. Highly recommend their services and will not hesitate to do business with them again! read more

Randy and his team are the best. I'm so very thankful to have found this shop. Randy was super helpful with getting me in (when he was really busy) to help me with my car. He communicated clearly and explained what the issue was and fixed it. He also ordered another part that I needed and got it in just as fast. I really appreciate the customer service I received. I will be using this company for any car related issues/needs from here on out! I highly recommend Dallas Brake and Alignment! Thank you Randy and Team! read more

I showed up at 9:30am today to have my brakes examined because they were making a suspicious squeaking noise. The staff was kind, helpful, and welcoming (Thank you to Josh!!). After thoroughly examining my breaks, they found that the issue was merely rust related. They absolutely could have told me I needed my brake pads replaced or something else and I would have believed them. But they are honest and upfront. I'll be bringing my car back in the future for any brake or alignment needs. read more

My tire got flat the day before a long cross country road trip and went to this mechanic in a pinch. I showed up 5 minutes before they closed without notice and the worker quickly patched the puncture and also ensured all my tires had good pressure (all within 15min!). Incredible service and honest worker, and will definitely recommend. Thank you!! read more

I stopped in this Monday morning about 8:30 A.M. (without an appointment) and left my Range Rover with Alex due to a brake squeal. The shop was easy to find and clean. The Land Rover dealer wanted $4200 for new rotors, pads, and sensors. Alex thought it might be possible to turn the rotors rather than replace them at 41,000 miles on my truck. I left my truck with them and went home. At 10 A.M., Alex called me back. Upon their diagnosis I was told, unfortunately, the rotors did indeed need replaced and Dallas Brake could do it all for $3k, a significant savings over the dealer. I told Alex I would pick up the vehicle to "think about it" since my funds are low. Surprisingly, he didn't charge me for the diagnosis or anything. I tipped them $20 for their time anyway. The reviews are true. Speedy, friendly, competent, goodwill, and honest service. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my vehicle back here for any of their auto services, and plan to in the future. read more

Alex was helpful from the moment we spoke on the phone. These guys are legit. He knew his stuff, let me know what to expect, and took great care of the vehicle when I arrived. They even gave me a ride home! I'll be getting all of my brake and alignment work with them going forward! read more

I needed brakes BAD! I was worried it was going to be over $1k to fix. I called and the voice on the other end was super friendly. Told me they were open and got me right in. He gave me a full quote and I agreed to the work and finished promptly. Definitely will be back. read more

I was heading on a road trip and wanted to get my brakes done before the drive. Alex and the team were great with getting me in and offering a ride back to my apartment while I waited. They explained the process and a few additional tasks that needed to be done to make the drive safe. Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. There's no more squeaking on my rear brakes and they informed me that my front brakes were still good. I'll definitely be back when its time to replace my suspension for a smoother ride! read more

Great guys. I knew it was time to have my brakes done and was dreading it. Brought my SUV here and they couldn't have been nicer. They drove me to my office even after I start I would just Uber. They picked me up to reclaim my car too Even better, I got a call saying that I didn't need as much work done as I originally asked for. Wow. Very honest! My brakes are working great now! read more

DB&A was recommended by a friend who knows cars and knows mechanics. From the start, they have been professional, dependable and fair-priced. Randy and Caleb are always good about communication explaining what is needed, the costs and when it can be ready. The total repair price on one job was less than the estimate. They have performed brake replacement, A/C repairs, tire issues and general maintenance on both our personal and business vehicles. I recommend the company without hesitation. read more

Caleb and Randy have been taking care of me for more than two years now and with my Chevy and my Lexus cars. Auto dealers quote me all of the things that they want to sell. These guys tell me the minimum I need to do for my safety. On 12-year-old cars, I am trying to do the minimum for my safety. I trust these guys completely. Another shop said I needed break pads so I ended up at Dallas Brake. Larry also drive me to work afterwards. Amazing! Shortly after I get a call from Caleb saying my brake pads still have 25k miles remaining. Wow! They could have lied like the other guys and sold me brake pads anyways. They even picked me up afterwards. TRUSTWORTHY SHOP. I will be back. read more

This is a great place to have your vehicle worked on. They do a great job - the first time - and are very reasonable price wise. If you can't get away from work, they'll come and pick up your vehicle for you and bring it back. THAT"S GREAT SERVICE! My husband won't let any other place service our vehicles, and even I feel comfortable working with them. Great guys and great service. Car brakes went all the way out Randy and the guys helped to get me back going and worked with me on the price. Highly recommended.

Honest, friendly and excellent customer service. The only place I bring my cars to now!

A friend referred me after my trusted mechanic of 25 years closed shop. I was looking for a skilled and trustworthy mechanic that I could rely on. Nailed it! I went in for squeaky brakes and asked him to check alignment. He told me that front brakes were great and alignment was just fine. His price was more than fair. Called with updates. I have found my new mechanic for life! I can HIGHLY recommend this shop. read more

Quality - Expertise - Price - Speed of service These guys win on each of the above categories If you're debating about going to a dealer or Dallas Brake - pick Randy and Caleb's team. I've tried many Diesel shops around town, ranging to "specialists" over the years; I feel like I've dealt with most of them - from cab off Bullet proofing to radiators, brakes, alignment, 4x4 issues, injectors, etc. They all eventually get greedy or simply don't do the work... Dallas Brake and Alignent is the only place I trust to work on my 2005 Ford F-350. They are very good at many other things other than brakes or alignments. They can fix just about anything... most importantly, they are honest and charge fair prices for their services. KSmith read more

I have used DB&A many times and completely trust them. Being a single female, its important to have someone you can trust and wont run up the charge just because of that. LOVE this place!! read more

This is hands down the best repair shop in Dallas, Randy has been doing this for 42 years and he is the MAN! My car broke down and I needed the starter replaced (I am a 24 year old girl and as much as I would like to be auto savvy, I am not). Lucky for me, I found Randy and his amazing team at Dallas Brake and Alignment who truly saved my (car's) life. This was my automobile NIGHTMARE, I didn't know I would be able to afford repairs, I thought I was going to have to finance a Dodge Charger (nothing wrong with Charger's but I drive a Toyota Sequoia and would not know what to do with myself in a small car). Needless to say, I was FINE- frustrated, insecure, neurotic, and emotional. Randy saved the day and repaired my car and I did not lose an arm and a leg. I owe those guys my life, they fixed the boat (Sequoia), they did it in less than 48 hours, they did it with a smile and even drove me to work when I brought in my car. I recommend everyone go to Dallas B&A if you have any car problems, they will take great care of you. read more

Randy helped my daughter immensely. Went in for a brake job and found she had a radiator leak and low fluid and needed an oil change and two new tires. Brake job and all the help he gave us was outstanding. In at 7:30 am and out before 4pm. Kept me informed of repair costs and talked to me like one dad of a daughter to another dad of a daughter. Result is my daughter is driving a much safer and more reliable vehicle now from using Dallas Brake. read more

I was referred to DBA by 4 Wheel Parts which is a business just down the road. I called and spoke to Randy at DBA and he was very easy to talk to and helped me get in touch with a tow service to get my car to their garage for $65. I dropped my car off at around 10:30 a.m. and after receiving two phone calls from him on updates on what they had found he was able to complete the repairs (fan clutch, wiring to fuse link on fire wall, add antifreeze) by 4:30 p.m. the same day. They offered me a ride to and from my apartment which was a huge help. From what one mechanic told me a lot of the guys have been working as mechanics at this locations for 20+ years. They were very professional and I couldn't have asked for a much better experience. They charged $99.50 p/ labor hour which is pretty much the going rate. I also mentioned that I had a slow engine oil leak and Randy said he had some dye coming in soon and could put some dye in the oil so we could see exactly where the leak was coming from. I will be going back in tomorrow to have that added. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for any type of car repairs. read more
