    Whole milk Cortado
    Heather V.

Super cute spot with tons of space to hang out and chat or meet up with friends or family. The people behind the counter were very friendly and welcoming. I didn't eat anything so I can't speak to the pastries but what they did have looked good. I had my standard Cortado and they did a nice job. They have parking on the side and back and some street parking. Nice place to meet up!

I'm currently enjoying one of the best iced lattes to ever flow over my tongue. Freshly ground beans, roasted perfectly, balanced by the right amount of milk and ice. Delicious!

Ambience: the decor is weird and doesn't make sense but it's very roomy with lots of seating, tables, sofas and long table in the back for large groups. Service: I was greeted satisfactorily. I tried to smile and look the chick in the eye when I ordered, she wasn't mean or rude, but I wasn't feeling super warm vibes. Coffee: I got an oat milk latte. It was served in a ceramic bowl/mug. It was pretty good. Better than Cutbow, but not as good as Castle. The merch is very pricey if you're into that sort of thing... Parking lot is great. Overall I'd come back but it's not my go to in ABQ.

Bienvenidos, Popular cafe on a easy Sunday morning. Located in the Wells Park neighborhood. Enter through the artsy "Santa Fe" doors into the soul of this quaint coffeehouse. Welcoming baristas ready to explore the menu and roasted coffee offerings. Red Chili Chai. I mean your in New Mexico right?! Spices of chai warmed by red chili essence that hits just at the end. My beautiful coffee partner sipped on the Fall special, Lucky 13 Spiced Latte. Decadent, sultry and savory. A true fall winner. Soon to return.... Enjoy Amigos!

We stopped in here for coffee before hitting up the tram up the mountain and heading out of town. Located near old Town in a stucco building, pretty conveniently. Having lived in Seattle for 10 yrs, then moving to Phoenix, I'd describe the hipster scene in ABQ as pretty goth. This shop fit the tee of goth hipster style and vibe. We enjoyed the coffee. Wait was a bit slow but we weren't in a rush.

Slow Burn! 821 Mountain Rd NW Albuquerque NM. Go Go Go (actually second time here, first review) Coffee amazing! This Breve was made with smooth, chocolaty bodied coffee. Brewed just right, creamy yumminess. Bean from El Salvador (orange, caramel, almond they say) Baristas make you feel right at home and very knowledgeable. Space bright and clean, feels cozy yet spacious. #Coffeeloversnomad

I don't recall how I found this spot - maybe my usual place was closed and I was in need of my morning fix before heading out on the road to see my folks. Whatever the reason I'm glad to have found it. Great coffee and nice people.

I travel a ton for work, so often a place only has one chance to get it right. These guys got it right.. they were out of the spiced chai which I was told was going to be awesome so I branched out and tried a mocha. The subtle hints of dark chocolate did not overwhelm my palate and the overall drink was extremely smooth showing they had a great pull. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from a small town coffee shop, which always has the potential to be interesting. It was a very chill vibe. Being in town for a week, this place definitely resonated enough that I will stop back in and expand upon the menu items

This place definitely falls into the first category. This morning I went with the single origin Guatemala drip, and it was exactly what a solid cup of coffee should be. Smooth, rich, and balanced with a nice chocolate note that hangs around just long enough to make you take another sip. No bitterness. No burnt taste. Just a clean, well-roasted cup that says someone here actually cares about the beans. The shop itself has a personality, which I always appreciate. It's decorated with fishing lures, fish artwork, and sculptures scattered around the place. Naturally this leads to the obvious conclusion: the owner is either an avid fisherman... or coffee roasting is just the side hustle between trout expeditions. Either way, the theme works. The space feels relaxed, creative, and comfortable. The kind of place where you can sit with a cup and not feel rushed out the door. And speaking of doors, while I was there there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out. That's usually the universal coffee signal for yep, this place is doing something right. Bottom line: Great coffee, cool atmosphere, and a shop with enough character to keep things interesting. I'll definitely be back for another cup of that Guatemala.

Very mild chocolate, I believe it is Dutch chocolate if my memory services me not to sweet which I appreciate. It was delightfully well balanced. The coffee itself is very smooth and not bitter, excellent taste! I will be back for sure to try other options there are lots of choices. I should have taken a picture of the menu. There is ample seating both inside and outside, had I not had my toddler with me I would have loved to sit out front but it is right by the road so a no go with a rambunctious little boy... There is additional outside seating to the side and farther from the road too. I look forward to my next trip.

. I woke up grumpy…read morethat sunny first Saturday in April. I remember it well. (it was 4 days ago) My wife suggested we try this coffee shop. Begrudgingly I went along; not quietly but more "respectfully pissy" i would say. Navigating our large van in the parking lot we still couldn't find the business. I started bitching about the crummy location, poor signage and how I just wanted a cup of quality coffee. That life shouldn't be this hard on a Saturday morning. Where is this coffee roasters shop? Finally: We located and walked into Candlestick... ...and POOOF !!! We meet (and want to marry) Zach! The enthusiasm, passion, knowledge, mission and love this guy has for his craft is amazing. We are so impressed. We decided Zach's wife is soo lucky! Mia M. did a review calling this an "intimate coffee experience" and I agree. When we relocate to Corrales, we will become frequent customers of this business. "Like really good like customers as they say in the valley." Thank you Zach for an exceptional coffee "pour over" experience ... we loved our individual cups of coffee. We support your fair trade mission, and wish you very well in your business. After our Candlestick Visit: My mood improved from a 3/10 scale, to a 10/10 after my visit to Candlestick Roasters ... YMMV of course, but please give it a try :)
