The only bummer is they were out of macaroni and cheese I hope next time they come back to City Hall food truck Thursday they have more we all can't wait to try it! Went above and beyond explaining the menu and made a couple of recommendations. I was already stuffed with drinks and other food, but i could not resist trying something out for how good the food looked, so I grabbed one item and ended up with the Mac and cheese. I would tell you that mac and cheese was BOMB. The saltiness of the cheese, the sweet tangy flavor of the meat, and the spice from the jalapeño perfectly blend in my mouth. I enjoyed every bite. I will for sure hunt them down with an empty stomach the next time I come to first Friday because I would love to try their bbq sandwich.

It's a hole in the wall type place that looks grungy on the outside but the food is good. I will typically only get something that is fried because food handling can be sketchy at times. I'll take my chances with the wings though lol I will say too, always double check your food because every other visit I've had to exchange what I was given for the right item. Also it can be a bit slow because they cook to order but waits aren't that long. If you preorder they really don't cook it until you show up either so that's a bust if you're getting food in your lunch break.

Only thing to mention is, I suggest ordering ahead of time, they open at 4pm and they usually sell out of their pork chops and mac & cheese (we learned this the hard way)! My partner and I didn't know this but for next time we will definitely order early to ensure we get both those items LOL! I ended up getting the catfish nuggets which were DELICIOUS and so crispy. My partner got the nuggets and he said they were super good. Funny enough it was my first time trying yams and I loveddd how sweet they are! The kool-aid mix drinks were super tasty too.
