They had 5 different BBQ sauces to try out I started out with the Dam...Hot and then the Spicy. The Dam....Hot at first didn't taste hot but the burn snuck up on me within a few minutes my lips and tongue was on Fire!! After that I tried the Spicy it was sweet and tasty about the same hotness. Can't wait to come back. Sorry no pics as my hands and fingers were a BBQ Sauce mess. The fried Okra was pretty good and tasty Rolling Smoke gave me big portion. The Brisket was tender with a good portion of fat, The pulled pork was also very good but the only downside were the ribs they were dry nothing a drenching of BBQ sauce can't fix.

We ordered the burnt ends, brisket, mac and cheese, chicken sliders, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and cornbread. The brisket was unfortunately overcooked, although the burnt ends were good. The meatloaf was okay but definitely not the best I've had. The mac and cheese was good, and the mashed potatoes were actually really good. The chicken sliders were just okay, and the cornbread didn't really stand out. Overall, I was a little disappointed because the reviews had me expecting something exceptional. Everything was decent, but honestly, the meal was pretty mediocre for me. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really blew me away either. I'd still give it four stars because there were several good items, the menu has a lot of variety, and our overall experience was fine. However, based on the ratings, I definitely expected more.

A delicious cornbread was opted for over the white bread and was accompanied by pickles that lacked flavor and dissappointingly , no fresh white onions , which is unusual for Texas bbq: dill pickles, white onions and white bread are practically a required condiment to claim Texas bbq status. My wife ordered the St.Louis pork ribs which were cooked tender but lacked smoke flavor. Once again, the bbq sauces on the table made for an enjoyable meal along with the great Mac n cheese. I wish there was more smoke flavor on the food to report, maybe it was an off day but I didn't see any smoke leaving the pit tanks cooking outside by street. This place truly looks like Texas bbqs I've visited before but failed in a couple of ways to impress. The small 2 piece portion of brisket was not impressive and 4th rib would have been welcomed. The service was very good and this place is a cool place to drink and watch a football game. I'll be back to try other items, lots of delicious sounding sandwiches are offered.
