You walk up and order at the counter and you are given a number and your order is delivered to your table. I had the 3&3 plate which comes with 3 tenders and 3 wings. They were very tasty to me. They came with 2 dipping sauces which were blue cheese for me. The wings and tenders were pretty meaty and were cooked to my satisfaction. You had a lot of drink choices with several types of teas as well as fountain drinks. I had no service issues and there were people constantly coming in while I was there @3 pm on a Saturday! Should be called "substitute chickens" not Slim Chickens. They had absolutely no problem selling me substitute chicken strips without any disclosure upfront. Unfortunately I didn't notice the chicken was not the typical slim chicken strips until I got home. Contacted the manager when I get home and he said that they had run out of chicken strips, and these were there substitute. Again, I was sold substitute chicken at the full price of their meal. If I could give the place no stars I would. I applied for this job a few weeks ago. The hiring manager JULIO hired me on the spot and told me the pay was 10$ an hour at the interview, I then went in to fill all my paper work out and on the paper work it said 9$ for the hourly pay. When I questioned him about it he told me that he would raise the pay after 3 months. I professionally told him how it wasn't right to tell that the pay would be something that it's not and from that day on none of the managers answered my calls or messages. My boyfriend really likes their chicken tenders and fries, but I haven't had the chance to try it until today. We came on a Friday afternoon for lunch and it was not very busy, so the line was short and quick. Orders are made at the counter and they bring you your food. He got the usual 5 tenders, fries, Texas toast, and a drink. I got the Buffalo Grilled Chicken Wrap with fries (I know. Why did I do that? Your girl's gotta watch her calories ok?). I took a bite of my boyfriend's tenders and it was really good! I wasn't thrilled with my wrap though. While there was a good amount of chicken in it, there was barely any sauce and definitely no "Buffalo" to it. Plus it kept falling apart while I was eating. The one thing that sets them on a higher scale from Raising Canes is their fries. Much much better than Canes! Crispy, hot, seasoned. Everything else though? Definitely comparable. I loved the vibe of this place, there definitely a lot of space and a patio area (these are great to see during the age of COVID-19). Called the manager Sharon to let her know and she said that is the bread they use and no one has complained before, i told her I was bringing this to her attention because this was our first time and it was bad she still was adamant. We came here for an early lunch, and my husband and I split the 5 and 5 combo with 5 wings and 5 tenders. It comes with fries but we substituted for fried okra instead. It costs an extra $1.50 for the substitute but the fried okra was well worth it! Very fresh and crispy okra! The best I've had. The tenders were hot and fresh with very light breading. We got the slims sauce (tomato based cream sauce) and sweet and sour, which has a bit of spicy chili kick than your typical Asian sweet and sour sauce. We got teriyaki wings which were delicious!! Return visit for me and still not impressed, though a slight improvement verses my first visit. This time it was drive-thru. I know, not the best choice if I want to judge the whole experience, but it puts an emphasis on just the food, and with that being said, the chicken is still average but the fries were better with their crispness and the seasoning seemed a little stronger, both pluses. This time we ordered a 7 piece with country gravy, and all I can say is there wasn't enough! Perfect consistency and texture, just the right amount of salt and pepper. Not to often can you get this style of bright white country gravy this far east, I guess because of the Cajun influence? The buttered toast slices where also better than average because they were so light and fluffy, toasted with just the right amount of brownness, and very buttery. But the chicken hasn't changed. I wish it had something extra to match the extra price. A chik-fil-a breading gives the tenders that microwaved texture, ie soft. The chicken meat itself is still under-moist, and relatively flavourless. It needs help, or even masking, with the sauces. If I pay for premium chicken, I expect it. This was my first time trying the place, and I had heard good things about it, but I am a true Cane's fan. I went in with an open mind and wanted to try something new and different. I like that when I walked in, I was greeted with a smile, however, the cashier seemed to be struggling and was taking quite a while to help the customer in front of us. Another person came over to assist and take our order, which she took and completed, while the customer that was there before me was still waiting for her order to be completed by the cashier. If you see a one of your team members struggling, it would be polite to help them, even though there's a line, you could tell that the customer was annoyed. Anywho, I liked the wide variety of items on the menu that they had, which makes it better than Canes in this sense. They had chicken and waffles, which my friend got, and I must say, the waffle was definitely one of the best waffles I have ever had. However, the chicken was so so. It came with 3 chicken tenders on top. I myself ordered the chicken wings, garlic parmesan, and they were just ok. They were cooked crispy, like I like, however, there was no real flavor to the wings, therefore, they didn't stand out to me. My mom ordered wings as well, all flats, but her meal came out incorrect, so she wasn't too satisfied. I am giving a 3 because the food was hot, and fresh, but it lacked flavor. The employees seemed to be in a good mood, the only other issue I had is that there were ants on my table. Everytime we got rid of one, another one would show up. So...there's that. Just tried their spicy Nashville sandwich and it's not as advertised. Their poster showed the battered chicken fillet is fried spicy. When I ordered that at a store and found out it is different. I'm addicted to this place. Every time I go, the tenders are always piping hot. The made to order promise is real. When you order, there will be 5-6 minute wait, but it's worth it. The one thing I like about the tenders here is that the breading isn't over bearing. Unlike Canes, there's much more chicken than there is breading. Not to mention the multiple dipping sauces available to choose from. Sweet red chili is my personal favorite. If it were up to me, I'd eat a Hungry plate every week. The one drawback that I do have is that the location changed its closing times on the weekend. They used to leave the drive thru open after the dining room closed, but now the whole place shuts down at 10 Fridays and Saturdays. read more

Anyway, we ordered, was given a number for our table and our wait time .. was about 5 minutes! We didn't wait as long as another Yelper had, and our food was piping hot!!! NOW your thinking ... why is she gushing about this chicken joint?? Right? Well, one bite .. all it took was one bite and I was HOOKED!!! The chicken on the outside was crispy and tender and juicy on the inside! What sets this place apart from others is the flavor, no blandness here folks! AND they have an array of dipping sauces for you to chose from, no longer shall you be held to just using ketchup! Although I am an avid lover of the tomato goodness, a change is ALWAYS welcome! I wanted to drive out and try his place because I love chicken! There was ample parking in the parking lot and easy access to the building. I ordered some tenders and wings. I liked the hot sauce and mango habanero sauce, and the spicy rich dipping sauce. The house sauce lacked impact. I thought it was bland. As for the chicken, the tenders are juicy. I see a lot of comparisons to Chick-fil-a in reviews for this place. Is is comparable? Yes. I'd say the quality of the chicken might be a notch higher than CFA. They have a lot more sides and options than their competitor including wings, salads, a large variety of sauces, desserts, and sandwiches. Depending on the menu item you get, you can sub sides other than french fries, but you may be charged more. I got the "Chicks meal" which is just 3 tenders and was able to sub the fried pickles for free. I was told that if I got the larger meals, I would have had to pay a fee to sub in fried pickles. The fried pickles were huge and very good and the chicken strips seemed to be freshly breaded and fried. The breading is lighter than that at CFA which is a positive to me. If you dine-in, they give you a number for your table and bring your meal to you when it's ready. That said, I can't see myself coming here much. The chicken strips were a bit smaller than the strips from their competitor and cost a bit more for the same amount. Granted, you get 2 pieces of bread for that price, but buttered bread isn't exactly a high quality add-on. There is a drive-thru and the line seems to get almost as long as at their competitor, so I would suggest coming here before it gets too popular and there is a line into the street. read more

Bear in mind, we had it delivered to avoid having to leave the house..so I get there and roll up to the drive through and explain who I am and that I had just called. I was then told to come inside..again, I didn't want to be out of my house let alone out of my car at this point. Assuming I'd speak with a manager and get offered at least a beverage for my trouble, I walk in, set the order on the counter and wait. And wait some more. Finally someone approaches and says, "wrong order is here." Guy I'm assuming is the manager says "We're working on them now." So I stand there. A good 5-7 minutes with zero interaction with anyone. No offer for a beverage or even a napkin. Not one person apologized. Finally I'm handed the order, "sorry bout that." I love their food, but this sucks. Not sure I'll be back. We were there today and this review is actually for another guest there. There was soda that was spilled and not cleaned up right. There was not a sign about the wet floor and an older lady slipped and fell hard. My brother helped her up, my cousin cleaned up the soda and I went to tell the person at the register. All she said was, "oh ok". Didn't bother checking on the guest or anything. They are lucky she isn't filing charges because she absolutely can. I drove past this restaurant I wondered what it was, so busy with all the signs everywhere. I went in, it was an empty restaurant only 2 guys at a table around 1pm. I ordered a smoked bbq grilled chicken wrap with potato salad for there and a kids chicken tenders to go. I had sweet peach tea. I enjoyed the potato salad and the wrap was good. Literally went in the drive thru to get a meal and the guy who took our order had a terrible attitude and obviously did not want to be at work that day his customer service skills where extremely poor then when I pulled up to the window I said "have a good day thank you" to the girl giving us our food when the girl decided to slam the window and not say a damn thing back also our order was wrong.
