The customer service is abysmal and nearly every time I order take out or through the drive thru my order is missing something, the extra dips I paid for, not tossed as requested, or in the case of my most recent experience an entire order. This meant I had to drive back to get the meal I paid for. When I called to get the order remade the manager was rude, constantly interrupted me, and failed to understand my frustration was completely down to the fact her employees failed to meet the basic expectation of fulfilling an order. When I got home of course the meal that was prepared was now cold, not to mention the wings were barely covered in sauce. Ashley Keese and Shanice Anderson are always working so hard to make sure everything is great. My order is always correct no matter how complicated, the food is always delicious, and the staff is always so kind. The bathrooms are always clean and the dinning area is always clean. Placed an online order that should have been ready in 13 minutes. I live 15 minutes away so that should have worked perfectly. I go up to the front and was told it was being worked on and be ready soon. People who walked in and ordered after me got their food first. And I'm talking multiple parties. My food ends up taking 45 minutes to get done. When I ask, I'm told they were prioritizing drive thru and dine in customers. Glad to know that the kitchen doesn't care about online orders and still managed to not give all the sauces we were supposed to have. and my now hangry three year old doesn't want to eat at all because of how long it took. Pulled up to the window and was handed someone else's food. He proceeded to take it back and hand it to the car behind me..... he told me to pull in to the parking spot because mine wasn't done. The worst experience I've had at a restaurant in a long time. I've never even given a review before but this experience was so bad I felt I needed to. We were traveling through the area and placed an online order to be picked up inside. We waited nearly an hour with workers constantly promising us our order was coming. It set us so far back on our travels. When we got the order, we were missing forks for our salad and Mac and cheese, bread (which they had assured us was in there.) and two of our drinks were wrong. Workers seemed to be working hard but it looked like there was no manager there to lead. Highly frustrating as our local slim chickens has never had this issue and we do love the food. Ordered through door dash and they didn't check the order, nevertheless, slims didn't make the order correctly to begin with. I'm highly allergic to hot sauce/buffalo sauce and I ordered regular Mac and cheese with no tenders, instead I got the Buffalo one and could smell it a mile away even when it was sealed, started acting up. First time eating at a Slim Chickens and, honestly, we won't be back. We decided to dine inside and stood in line to order for at least 15 minutes. I don't know if they were having technical troubles with the registers or what as not a single word was said to us by any of the cashiers and we only received glaring looks from the employees as the line behind us continued to increase. I didn't know what to expect. Reviews were 3 out of 5 stars, but the parking lot was full. We figured full parking lot might be a good indicator and indeed it was. Fast Casual concept rustic barn like decor that is nicely done. Order at the counter I ordered the Slims salad with the fried strips. The salad was fresh mixed greens not iceberg. It had cheese, tomatoes, fried onions cucumbers, croutons and a banana pepper. It is served with choice of dressing I had blue cheese, and it was amazing huge chunks of blue cheese. The friend chicken was good not to heavy or greasy. My friend had the 6 wing basket with a side salad she said it was excellent. I splurged and got the jarred dessert. Cute offering all be it a bit pricy. I had the cheesecake. It was great a fun touch is the slims jar. The cheesecake was great my friend had the brownie. First off I absolutely love the food and get slims at least 4 times a week. Now to be brutally honest. The staff is terrible. They either don't communicate or blatantly get our order wrong. We have to repeat our simple order about 10 times which could be a speaker problem but after they got it right...repeat it right back to us...it comes out wrong. We would wait back in line but we don't really wish to wait another 20 mins which is the average time it takes to get our meal. So we normally eat whatever we get which is delicious but normally not what we ordered. They do on the other hand normally get the drinks right. But for how long we wait and how much it costs for chicken it should be right and taste right. This is a new development as well. It didn't seem to be this incorrect or long of a wait before May 2017. But since then they have been increasingly aggravating. read more

This is a 'must eat' place if you like hot wings and chicken tenders! Moist, perfectly tender chicken strips are served with five kinds of dipping sauces and the wings are bathed in anything from a mild sauce to 'Inferno'. I have never feared hotness so I chose their 3and3 plate which consisted of 3 chicken strips w/a cayenne ranch dressing and three hot wings coated in Inferno. That came with excellent fries and Texas Toast for a whopping $4.89. Okay..about Inferno..it is good and hot, perhaps a few degrees less than 2nd degree lip burns but it makes that chicken taste good. I really recommend not kissing your significant other or messing with your contacts til you have REALLY cleaned your hands well. Slim Chickens has a great variety of sandwich wraps,salads and sides like fried okra,fried pickles,cole slaw and tater salad. The most expensive thing on the menu is $13.99 for 20 wings! This is waaay off the beaten path but when you need wings deep in AR, this will serve admirably. Prices were reasonable & the place was spotless. Got the buffalo, hot BBQ, sweet BBQ & teriyaki. All sauces were decent, the buffalo just seemed like Frank's - nothing special. The teriyaki was a little off in color but seemed to have a little extra ginger - nice touch. I was reluctant to try Slim's, figuring it was just another Zaxby's knock-off. I was pretty off in my assumption. They have various combination plates composed of wings & tenders with many different flavor & sauce options. I tried the 3 & 3 plate, with 3 wings, 3 tenders, fries, & one dipping sauce. The wings were tasty, but were not very meaty. The mild buffalo is good for your average wing eater who isn't trying to burn their face off. The tenders were amazing! The breading didn't detract from the juiciness of the chicken, and my honey mustard dipping sauce made it even more delicious. The only drawbacks here are the price (over $20 for two smaller plates & drinks) and the drive through is quite a wait. Overall, it's a pretty good lil' chicken joint! read more

Slim Chickens caught my eye due to the fact that all the photos look like Raising Canes. If I'm going to eat as much fried food as possible during my AR visit why not add this to the list. Fries are fine, chicken tenders were small and the breading wasn't as crunchy as I prefer. The sauce, I opened up what looks like that thousand island sauce with excess black pepper that I get at Cane's only to realize this is some sweetish concoction. Slim Chickens isn't bad but my issue is I had prior ideas due to Raising Canes. Slim is like Raising Canes with more options and less focus on quality. My Wife and I moved from West Little Rock to Conway a few Months ago and were excited to see there was a Slim Chickens located near our Apartment. So excited that for my Birthday Meal I passed up free Meals at other Restaurants to try this location. The Fried Pickles saved the trip but not sure I made the right decision. Let me start with the fact that the West Little Rock Location on Markham is much better. But that being said, the Chicken here was OK, again WLR Location is much better. Love the Fried Pickles and they are the tops here as well. Staff was helpful but did not seem to enjoy their work and it came through in their Facial Expressions and Voice Tone. It felt like they were in a Debbie Downer Skit from SNL. Mix on the Soda was slightly off (or the spigots needed clearing) because the Soda was not the best tasting but drinkable. At the price one pays here, things should be a step above what they are. Just a few small tweaks and this location could be great, but for now it will be on my secondary list of places that come to mind when I am deciding where to eat. Really want it to improve because I love Slim Chickens, especially those Fried Pickles; they are an obsession. read more

I came here a year ago and service was great. This time around they had someone on a register who had no idea how to ring anything in and no one was even trying to help her. It took over 10 minutes to order. I understand it is her first day but I came in the evening and also if she has been having that much trouble they should have her shadow someone until she can run the register right herself. There was an employee who was standing in front of one register and another employee who was in front of another register. The person in front of me told me I could order in front of him at the other register (female employee) where another patron had just left with their order. As I moved to order she rudely stated "I don't take orders." I moved back into line. After ordering and while waiting for my order I observed the employee who stated she did not take orders later assist in taking orders and interact with other patrons.
