First time coming here. I've been meaning to try this joint, but finally had time to do so. Located in the heart of downtown Watsonville, next to what used to be the fox theater. I came right before they were about to close, and luckily they still had some slices left to sell. So I ordered the lil pep. It was good, deep, lightly and doughy. The pepperoni was crispy and savory. The pizza features cheese on all ends out the doneness spectrum which made for an excellent flavor and texture profile. Now as for the crust, I have to say it was delicious! I love a good crunchy thick crust and there was plenty of it. Great portions, prices are fair considering how big the slices are. You really get your moneys worth here, having said that I know I'll definitely be back. Seems like a cool kick it spot to have a cold beer and pizza. It sorta reminded me of pizza my heart. Had a fresh slice of pie, the sauce was lava and the cheese was cheesy, it was win for me.

This is my 2nd review. My first experience at this spot was less than stellar. The owner, Brandon, reached out to me and was very apologetic about my experience. He did not know about the 3rd party intrusion on his site that charged a convenience fee when ordering. He has been able to get that removed so no other customer can be charged for a bogus service. I heard about this place a week or so ago and have been desperate to go ever since. I finally went today and had a slice of the White Bugatti and a Detroit-style cheese (Red Top). I was thrilled by the subtlety of the White Bugatti and will dream of the Red Top until I have it again. The Red Top has a crisp, glorious crust and was thick yet light and airy. The White Bugatti was reminiscent of a light pasta, scented with garlic and lemon. I mean that in the most positive way I don't live close, but plan to frequent this spot, especially once they start serving beer. Awesome pizza, super clean, and friendly professional staff/owners. Since moving to California from the east coast I've had a hard time finding good authentic NY style pie. Well here it is. Slice project is as close as you can get to an east coast pizza without having to fly out. Easily the best pizza in the Monterey bay.
