We came here after leaving another local pizza place due to bad service. Pizza my Heart is always one of our favorites and this location didn't disappoint. The service was good even though they had just opened for the day. The pizza was hot and ready to go. Our favorite was the Manresa, the whipped ricotta on top is amazing. My daughter and I also enjoyed the pepperoni. We always get their hot sauce to take home because it's the perfect compliment. Our only issue was that the soda machine was out of all diet options when we arrived. They fixed that before we left so we were able to get a Diet Coke for the road. The ambiance is classic pizzeria with local Santa Cruz murals and 90's music playing. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back. read more

Pizza My Heart in Aptos is a great shop with high-quality pizza. Ordering online was easy, and the delivery arrived earlier than expected. The delivery person was courteous and brought plenty of condiments. We had a generous coupon for the Caesar salad, which was very fresh and tasty. It came with a wedge of lemon, which I had never thought to add to a Caesar before, but the squeezed lemon was delicious and I will definitely do it from now on. The parmesan shavings and croutons were also very fresh.The salad paired perfectly with the Big Sur pizza, which was excellent. It is my husband's favorite, and he was surprised and happy to have it for lunch. **Overall: 3.5 stars** Pizza My Heart is a chain, but the pizzas are SOLID! It is hard to walk into one and not order something. They taste consistently good, and the toppings are plentiful! Our favorite is the Big Sur. The veggie one is good also. The prices aren't that bad either. My kids always want to get the tshirt+slice deal for $8. They now collect them because it has the city on the shirt. This store location is close to a great ice cream store and a few steps from the beach. You can grab a pizza and eat it while feeling the sand under your feet and sun on your face! The only downside is it's not great to eat there, even though there's a room for dining-in. The indoor dining area feels more like an after thought with the scattered chairs, unkempt tables, and piles of boxes in the back. If you get pizza here, most take it to-go, so it doesn't seem to bother anyone. read more

So to start it off they got my order wrong, which is really sad considering I ordered online. How can you mess up an order that is digitally written down in front of your face. They forgot a whole pizza. So we call and tell them, all they said was "ok we will refund you for the pizza, sorry about that." They Didn't offer to make it right by remaking the pizza and delivering it to us. The pizza that did arrive was good. Didn't arrive very hot but the taste and flavor was great. We ordered 3 pizzas in total and received 2 pizzas and a slice. I'm willing to try again because the taste was great. Wish I would have just picked it up though. Customer service I give 1 star. This review went from "Ashy" to "Classy", due to a manager named Romano. We are locals that order from here all the time. This time my parents were in town from Florida and we rented a room at the Rio Sands and decided we wanted Pizza. We called and ordered for delivery, only to not receive anything and no phone call. We were definitely not happy to say the least. I called the next day to ask for my money back and complain, the Manager Romano explained some of the issues there were having with Door dash, and it made sense to me. This slice of pizza was magnificent! I got the Corralito's Market and it has: Garlic-infused olive oil, Corralito's Market cheesy Bavarian sausage, slow-cooked apples, real bacon & gorgonzola cheese. Each bite was just so good. The bacon and apples went so well together. There was a generous amount of toppings. The crust was perfect. We called in our order ahead of time and Happily our pizza was ready right when we arrived. Thankful they have pick up parking right out front. I think it's odd how people claim that this is the best pizza they have ever had. Have they never had pizza before? Maybe they have only had pizza from Little Caesar's or something. They have two spots that says Pizza 1 pickup only. The parking in this area is kind of crazy. So you walk in and in the case they had 6 different pizzas. We got 4 different slices, one Hawaiian, one w artichoke, one w chicken and margarita. The pizza all together wasn't all that great. This spot has reopened as a Pizza My Heart which I personally really like and am happy to support. They are also currently selling $10 t-shirt and slices to support Capitola's rebuilding with Capitola Strong shirts. I walked here about a quarter mile from the beach and my nephew and I decided to pick out this place among the restaurants next to it. I couldn't help but to take my steps inside from the baked pizza aroma. I was amazed by the pizza slices laid out neatly. So I know we are in the right place. My nephew and I decided to get a whole box with meat and apple, and I decided to try a Margherita slice, and my nephew tried the combo meat. It wasn't long enough that aside from a box with combo meat, pepperoni, cheeses, etc. Perhaps we were hungry and felt like to order pretty much everything. Lol The staffs were helpful and friendly. They make sure they see you happy as you take the first bite. Well, from what my mouth can remember with the first bite of the Margherita pizza - it was like an explosion in my mouth. It was so delicious as I had my teeth dig into cheese and dough with which was soft and crispy at the same time. The ingredients were fresh, and the cheese oozed out from the mixture as a result of a happy dance. :-) All the slices were so delicious, and I am thankful that these place existed, for almost $5.00 per slice is well worth for a bite.
