I own Tacos El Jerry, and I've been bringing my food truck to Corralitos Brewery at least once a week for the past couple of years. The owners, Natalia and Luke, are great to work with--super easygoing, communicative, and always on top of things. The vibe here has always been solid, and I even find myself sticking around to enjoy a beer when I get the chance. My go-to is The Blonde, but they've got a great selection of craft beers for every taste. What really stands out is how well this place is run. It's always clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. I assumed he was a disgruntled employee, but as the locals told me he is the son of the building's owner. Where I live people are greeted with warmth, appreciation, and general kindness. Finally, a local brewery for locals. Came here with some friends after a baby shower in Corralitos. Coincidentally, it started showering. This was a great experience overall, I had the #9 Audible Juicy Hazy which definitely packs a powerful punch. It's about 9 percent so really only a sipping beer. But you can on the patio and relax with the strawberry fields and apple orchards as your backdrop. They have free water inside and accept credit card via Square, so super easy to pay and hangout with kids and your designated driver. Make your way out to Corralitos and skip the Monterey traffic jam. read more

Low-key, rustic hangout serving a wide variety of fresh, cold beer made on-site. Lots of small and large tables, indoors and out, games available, too. We got a tasting flight of 5 different beers, all different flavors, most a bit too flowery or tangy for me. I like the smooth, easy stuff, so the Blonde Ale was my favorite. Very dog and family friendly, friendly servers, genial atmosphere. No food menu, but outside vendor was selling burgers when we were there. read more

Open for curbside pickup during COVID-19! Our cabin fever finally got to be too much, so we placed an order online for a few crowlers and went for a lovely drive out to Corralitos. You designate a pick-up time and they carry it out to you when you arrive. It felt very safe and convenient. We ordered three crowlers (32 oz each) a stout, a hibiscus saison, and an amber. I enjoyed them all but my favorite was the stout, very full bodied and rich. I'm also normally not much an amber person, but this one was packed with flavor and super enjoyable. We had the equivalent of six pints and I think it was around $40ish. You're basically paying tap room prices for your carryout. This makes sense since they're keeping their while operation going this way, and we were happy to pay a little bit of a premium to support an awesome little brewery during these uncertain times. read more

Came here Sunday around 6pm. It wasn't that busy and was easy to find a outdoor seating. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Big private parking lot. We liked 2 dark beers and a hazy ipa. They were nice to let us sample some beers. They did pour us the wrong hazy ipa and they gave us a new one. They didn't make us give back the wrong ipa, so that was nice. read more

Great brewery located in Watsonville. We found out about this brewery by sampling beers at Pour located in Downtown Santa Cruz. We picked up a pizza and brought it with us to pair with our beer. Flights are $10 for 5 samples. To fill up our growler, it cost us $20. I'm hoping that they create a woman's tee shirt, they have an amazing design of a growler with a redwood tree inside. I've been to Corralitos brewing company on many occasions. Truthfully in the beginning I found the brewery to be just average. But recently their brews have grown more intense. Because they're doing some great flavors. Their menu remains consistent - make that constantly good! Some of their special brews have included; dark coconut ale, and other deep and rich flavors. It's become one of my favorite places. Atmosphere inside is your typical brewery meets wearhouse vibe. The bar is tiny. Excellent beer selection and they even have wine and alcohol for the non-beer drinkers. I typically come here after a long shift at work.. So take a flight or pint, sit outside and enjoy! Great place to hang out and enjoy a beer. Came here after a day at the Watsonville strawberry festival. The place is kind of out in the middle of now where and right Across from some Strawberry Fields. Theres seating inside and a porch outside where you can drink. This place is kid friendly with Lots of board games, I sat there and played checkers with my son while I was here. The beer I had was the shake tree which is a sour and it was pretty good, good enough for me to want to come back here again, I don't mind driving 50 miles to pick up some good beer. I don't believe I have ever felt so unwelcome at a business. I arrived alone as I was going to meet some other people there. They had just opened so it was only myself and about seven other strangers. Immediately, I noticed I was the odd one out. Every person stared at me and continued to give me ugly glances. Even the two bartenders, a man and woman, kept watching me and whispering about me. They didn't even bother to hide it. It took twice as long for the bartender to analyze my ID and go through my transaction compared to anyone else. It wasn't until the rest of my group arrived that I actually felt safe and comfortable. The reason I am even giving this place more than one star is because other than their cold attitudes towards me, it is a very clean and nice looking brewery. The rest of the customers who I met were very friendly and the employee who came in later was nice towards myself and the group I was with. Altogether though, I would not bring my business here again and neither will my friends. read more

I enjoyed my beers. Probably should have gotten a sampler to get a better idea of their offerings. DIPA was pretty hazy. :) Indoor space is pretty small, but there is a decent sized porch outside. Lots of Parking. I thought the pizza truck they had was tasty - I don't know if they rotate trucks or usually have the same one. You can also bring your own snacks. Unpretentious, clean, and tasty beers. You'll have the Brewers pour your beer, at least on the weekends, and answer your questions. The brewery is located on Freedom and it's easy to find. Parking can be an issue, but there's plenty of roadside parking available. Seating is limited at the bar, but there's plenty of outdoor seating and walk seating through out. You'll meet people from all walks of life Hippies-hipsters and everyone in between. There are food vendors on the weekend and they are a perfect match for the food friendly beers. I finally got a chance to stop into this place, I first tried their beers at a grazing on the green many years back before they actually had a tasting room. Many days and many pints have gone by since then and I'm happy to report that they are doing great! They share the building with pacific firewood and the Saturday afternoon I stopped in there was a steady flow of thirsty beer seekers pouring in for the couple hours I was there. I read some reviews that said they typically have a food truck there but this day there was none. Having such tasty beer it made me crave some tasty food and the drive to the local taqueria which wrecked our order and turned it into two trips to the local taqueria was a hassle. I can't fault them for the poor taqueria performance but a suggestion would be to expand and offer food... Now for the beer. It was awesome! We had a full flight of all 12 beers that cost us $20. The prices are not posted that I could see but I was led to believe we got the 2 extra samples (over the 10 that makes up 2 flights) were freebies. The flights were mostly dominated by pale ale and IPA varieties that seemed to follow a cascade hop flavor profile. There were a few saisons that added a more tart spectrum to the flights. 2 barrel aged sour beers that were quite good. And finally one dark beer, an oatmeal stout that rounded out the color spectrum. I settled on an equinox pale ale for my final pint as the sampler had me feeling pretty calibrated. At 5.8% ABV it was tasty and not too strong so I could make through to the evening. There imperial IPA was very good but at close to 9% I would have still been sleeping in the parking lot instead of enjoying the fair. The Holi water hybiscus saison was an interesting offering worth mentioning. I'm admittedly somewhat of a beer purist but this was one time I could veer from the Reinheitsgebot and feel good about it. I felt the same way about their sour beers, having 12 beers to sample side by side makes beer tasting more of an adventure.. Well, you get the point, if you love beer, this place is a real treat. Don't count on the food truck and bring your own take in and you will surely love this place. read more

Very local down home beer spot tucked in something of a rustic location. While they do have their own private lot-which is handy as pretty much the only way to get here is to drive or lyft/uber-it both gets crowded during peak times and is kind of a blink and you'll miss it kind of thing. It's not hard to find as such but do slow down when gps says you are starting to get close. There is a parking lot facing porch outside, communal benches inside, and a limited amount of bar counter seating. The counter seating is of the hard not very comfortable metal barstool variety. The communal seating is (slightly) more comfortable, but well, it's shared so be prepared to have some folks (and/or a dog) settle in right close by. If you have a people or dog phobia your best bet is to grab a growler and go. Hipsters be warned that you'll be talking with non hipster folk here. There's about dozen or so rotating made on site beers at any given time on tap, and well, you know how it is with beer. One drinker's nirvana is anothers bread and butter and a third's nausea. I'm not a big fan of the big experimental sours or belgians here. I reallllyy do not like the saison. in the other fist though the hop kissed is excellent and they don a find pale ale for sure. Both of those i find to eminently drinkable, perfect for a laid back social pint on the porch(or if you arrive an hour after opening-the porch is a popular spot and fills up quick-inside at the tables.). As with any other small brewery do a tasting to feel them out before jumping right into a pint, and like most spots the counter bar has the fastest service. All in all this is one of the more social and diverse beer spots in the area. read more

Update (Original Review Below): "Natalia L." reached out to me today and said, "We have every intention of giving tours when [Brew Cruz] her groups come in, but had not anticipated these kind of crowds, so are not yet fully staffed. We'll plan on having an extra person on hand, so that Luke (my husband) or myself is able to give tours of the brew house." Oddly enough she also said that Sunday (Mothers Day, I assume) the Brew Cruz came in again and they weren't available for tours. On Mothers Day... throw a wine barrel on its side in the middle of the brewery, setup tasters, and when the bus rolls in, usher everyone to the "magic area"... I wish she had offered me a 2:1 pint coupon or something. I still want to go back because some of the photos of the brewing area look really nice. I suspect they don't give tours normally, which is too bad. Also, how are they not fully staffed? Throw a rock in Watsonville and I'm sure you'll hit 10 people looking for jobs. Original Review: I will say that Corralitos is a 5-star brewery. I've been a fan of these guys for a year or so, and while I thought I was on their mailing list, their grand opening elluded me, BUT no big deal, I forgive them. My review is a bit round-a-bout, so bare with me. The first part is NOT about the beer, read below for that. I recently did the New Bohemia Brewing Company Kickstarter and I bought the "Free" Santa Cruz Brew Cruz reward tier, which was good for a bus tour of Nubo and 2 other breweries. We signed up to go last Sunday (April 19th, 2015), and chose Corralitos, Sante Adairius, and Nubu as our 3 stops. We made our way to Corralitos on a beautiful cool Sunday afternoon, and arrived around 1:30pm. Now this is a tour bus which holds 15 eager beer drinkers. (OK, we only had 11+2 kids, but you get the idea) We get off the bus to what we expected would be a warm greeting, maybe a tour or some questions answered. Unfortunatly the bar was a bit busy and we got our tasters to enjoy on the front patio, and that was about it. I went back before we left to get a growler filled, but there wasn't much in the way of pomp and circumstance. I mean if businesses are made or broken on first impressions, you'd think a brewery tour bus would at the very least get you a discount on some glasses or t-shirts. We all left with a LOT of cash burning holes in our pockets. THE BEER: Amazing, for such a young brewery these guys had some pleasant surprises. 10 beers on tap ranging from a couple barrel aged brews (one a blend of 3 tasty beers), a Belgium Tripel, an IPA, a few Pale Ales, all very unique and fun to drink. Everyone got 5 beer tasters and swapped tastes with one another. Kids played in the mustard grass and everyone enjoyed the beautiful sunny day. Summary: Beautiful place, but I wish I had been pampered a little bit more. read more

What a GREAT little find!!! Had to kill some time before we could check into our Watsonville Motel. When we pulled up, it was nice to see some people already enjoying the quaint atmosphere! We didn't have to wait long to get served. Beer was GREAT! People/Staff were friendly! Even gave us a tour of the place! The food is provided by a food truck parked outside, which is typical of breweries that don't have a kitchen inside. Talk about a happening spot in Corralitos! I LOVED everything from the beer to the woodsy decor. The brewery has a real welcoming affect when you first drive up. I visited on a Saturday, lots of people out in front -- enjoying beer, friends, their furry pets, and a nice sunny day. The whole place is visually appealing, especially in such a mountain-scaped area. The beer I enjoyed was absolutely delicious! I had the pleasure of trying their "Holi Water" hibiscus infused beer. Talk about the "holi grail" haha. Seriously, it went down smooth, it was so pretty -- like a pink hibiscus flower. It had more of a tart-sour taste, which I didn't mind at all. I will definitely be back to enjoy another glass of this delicious beer. The atmosphere was great. I loved the decor, the staff, and the vibe that was shown there. It was down to earth, yet hipster. I liked that they were dog-friendly and had "dine-in" option outside and that the beer was good. They do not serve food, but there is a food truck in the parking lot with mediocre food (pasta/pizza). There were two servers and it was somewhat busy, but it's still no excuse to be talked to and treated so rudely. The male server was nice, but the female server was Horrible! I was visiting my dads hometown and drove by this place making a mental note to try it. It did not disappoint. Great Selection of beer. They had 13 different varieties of beer and all of them were different styles. My boyfriend and I got two glasses of beer. I got the Whiskey Hills, and my boyfriend got an IPA. Whiskey Hills was an aged Bourbon Barrel Stout, and it is probably the favorite beer I've ever had. After that we wanted to try them all. We got two flights and in total we were able to try 12 of the 13 styles of beer. Each one was vastly different, and each one had its own subtle unique twist. The bar tenders with knowledgeable and talked freely about the beer making process and different strains of fruit and hops going into each beer. We came here on a whim during our foodie tour through Gilroy and found this awesome microbrewery. I'm really glad that we did and was very impressed that the brewery makes a wide variety of delicious beers including my absolute favorite, a bourbon barrel aged, Whiskey Hills Imperial Stout! It's an on-site exclusive beer and supremely delicious. Natalia and Luke (the owner) are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. So long as you are a responsible beer enthusiast, you will absolutely love it here! The crawlers are reasonably priced and it's totally worth it if you are a micro brewery enthusiast!
