Absolutely love Slice! I'm always treated with respect when I come here and the food is always amazing. Other than the pizza, my favorite thing to eat are the garlic knots. We had to wait for a little long (it was a Saturday night they were understandably busy). The pizza was delicious and came out pretty quickly. We also got garlic knots which are AMAZING, plus the sauce and we were in heaven. The music and atmosphere was very chill, the whole restaurant has a great vibe. They have big slices of pizza for a reasonable price (one will fill you up, two if you're really hungry). Sauce and crust are delicious, plus they have many local craft brews on tap! Highly recommend. Service is mostly good, but they get busy so can be hit or miss at those times. read more

I've had their pizza a few times. I like the thin crust, but otherwise the pizza is rather average. The pepperoni doesn't have a lot of flavor. However, on my last visit the 18" take-out pizza I ordered seemed unusually small when I picked it up. I measured it when I got home and it was only 16" across. I would upload a photo to show it but that doesn't seem possible here. They may argue that pizzas are based on weight, or that they shrink when cooking, but when people order an 18" pizza, they expect an 18" pizza. I did complain to Slice Parlor on their website two weeks ago about this, but got no response. I'm sure they are trying to provide a good experience. Local beer selection is excellent, however. read more

Pizza was ok. Beer selection is pretty decent. Service is horrendous. First time was a busy evening, it was new, so we have it a second chance. Second time was lunch, much less busy, but the service was even slower. Seriously, train your staff... Hire competent staff. Maybe hire more. This is a great pie with an excellent selection of local beers. We've stopped here for lunch as well as dinner and have always had a great experience. Stephen, the GM, greeted us and checked to make sure everything was great ... a nice simple touch of customer service that isn't always common in Albuquerque. The food was delicious, everyone in our party loved what they ordered. Such a great meet-up place since you can order by the slice. Such a shame. I came here once before and had a relatively nice experience. Today however, was a different story. We went in, and sat out on the patio. Everything was going alright until two waitress passed a drink over my mother and spilled beer on her. One said "sorry" in a most unapologetic tone and they walked away. We waited a bit to see if either of them would come back. No such luck. So we informed the staff that we were leaving and left. I like their pizza here, but same as the Nob Hill location, the service is slow and disorganized. I cannot remember a time at either location where dining was fast and easy. I'm surprised with the management problems here that this place has done so well...it is only because they have locations in proximity to breweries. My 1st 3 experiences at the Montgomery location were excellent - two were eat-in and one was takeout and the food and service was great each time. However, my last takeout order was very disappointing. I ordered a "Mammal" and it looked like chef was worried about my cholesterol and short changed the toppings and cheese, big time. The other pie we ordered was only 2 ingredients and was even worse - it looked like the face of the moon when we opened the box. We may try this place again but we were very unimpressed with our last experience, hopefully this was a temporary lapse and not a policy change to cut costs. read more

I'm giving two stars, only because of your server Ashley. She is the best. After dealing with your other female servers on numerous occasions, we decided not to go back here. The servers have major attitude, act like it's a pain in butt to wait on you, and when you pick up your food, they throw the box at you. Seriously, they toss the box with the pizza slices at you. No smile, no thank you. No nothing. Maybe it's because I'm a senior citizen. I don't know. But it troubles me that the youth of today, especially servers, have an arrogant attitude with no customer service. We decided to give your store one more chance tonight, as we like your pizza. We were next door at Marble Brewery. Thank God Ashley brought us our order, and surprise, with a smile, and all the condiments we needed. I have also waited for my pizza order at the restaurant, , sitting at the bar by the kitchen window, and have seen the servers bad mouthing customers. I don't know if the owner knows about this, but this location is getting a bad reputation. Not sure if we'll go back. I like to spend my money where they appreciate you. read more

Been here twice, great experience both times. Start with the garlic knots(add green chile), amazing! Friend and I each got a slice and shared a salad. Slices are huge, everything was delicious. I usually don't share negative experiences, but I had such a terrible one last Sunday that I can't help myself. I was waiting for a pizza that I had called in, and while waiting got to listen to a waiter berate and harass the kitchen staff. There are obviously issues with the restaurant's systems and equipment that make it unable to keep up with orders, but from what I could see it had nothing to do with the kitchen. I expressed to the kitchen staff that I was sorry that they were treated that way. They said, "it is just the way he is". I cried and made a fool of myself as the rude waiter then told me, "You just don't understand." I spoke with the manager in charge and left my phone number hoping for some response, but nothing. SO, here it is. I will never be back because no one gets to be treated as poorly as I saw the kitchen staff being treated on my behalf. Not on my watch. read more

This review pains me to write after being a supporter and regular customer of Slice Parlor and having written a prior positive review. The response to their mistake today was a bit surprising. Our two salads were served on dirty plates with visible food on both the tops and bottoms. We brought it to the waitresses attention who wasn't trained in how to handle the situation. She brought new salads on clean plates but our appetites weren't exactly what they were going into the restaurant. I asked if the manager was aware of the dirty plates and she said yes. The manager came out from the kitchen but never spoke to us and we were even charged for the salads without comment. When mentioning that a manager should have acknowledged the mistake the response was, and no I'm not making this up, that "our manager is very busy." I didn't have the heart to tell her that the only reason he was busy was because of the people sitting at the tables making their jobs possible. read more

I'm going to agree with a previous reviewer, as we must have been in the restaurant at the same time today according to the time stamp... Something was fishy with the billing as I received 4 copies or printouts of my bill and my bank says I was charged multiple times. My server seemed super busy at every table but ours and our 3 slices of pizza took 27 minutes to get to us. Super thin crust seems to be the only choice and it had to be eaten with silverware because it was a large sloppy mess. The pricing seemed on par with the competition and the 2 slice with drink for 6.99 daily special is a decent deal especially if hungry because the slices are enormous. The building is nice looking and atmosphere appealing, but it does have that Dave & Busters constant hum/buzz but at a slightly lower decible. Can get uncomfortable and was somewhat put off that they serve on cheap paper plates after what I mentioned earlier. There are 6 pizza franchises within a block so the location for this franchise is questionable too. In all, assuming this was an anomaly of a visit.. This place has potential and ordering by the slice or slice/salad combo is decent value. I'll try it again. Be forewarned, the parking situation is very close quarters and at least 1 one-way entrance. Suv's be warned and at peak times, better off parking on the north side of the street at flames/Starbucks and walking over. read more
