Finally made it to the new location of Slice and Ice on Tanque Verde Rd. Drive thru was easy to order and pickup. The employees were helpful and kind. This was a take out and drive home so I did not go inside to check that out. But let's talk about the food! So happy, I am doing a quiet happy dance in my house because the Tuna was delightful and all the fresh veggies were crunchy and the bread!!! Thank you! Toasted sub that was crunchy and flavorful!! So happy. French fries were wonderful and crisp and delicious along with the homemade ranch! Wowsa! I love that my ice looks like ice ha ha! No artificial coloring, and it tastes like a wonderful pina colada. Just not creamy. Looking forward to trying out some of the other Menu items!

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening around 7:30. They were already mopping the inside of the lobby, and blocked off most of the seating area which was kind of annoying. I was hoping to sit and do some work on my laptop, but the only tables that had outlets were blocked off because of the mopping. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger pizza and the hot ranch fries, everything was delicious. I really liked the cheeseburger pizza, and the sauces for my food. I also got a half dragon fruit, half mango tea ice, and it was yummy! The service behind the counter was excellent, and the food came out very timely. Aside from the mopping, which also made the lobby smell really gross, Everything was delicious.

I love this place. The ambiance isn't anything special but the ingredients are top-tier. Plus it's never busy when I've gone. I absolutely love that I can order a pizza-box size of fries. Plus the ranch is ELITE. Truly a hidden gem.

Ir was just ok....Attempting to satisfy my craving of the history of me and Eegees before corporate overtake. Really just wanted sift bread and true ranch. The pizza was good sandwich was just ok

Found out it's an old Eegees type of place. Sandwiches were great and frozen drinks Braun freeze worthy! Stop in and have a treat!

Been here three times. First time food and experience was spectacular! Food and customer service way beyond expectation. Last couple of times not as much but, food quality still good and fries were hot perfect for the ride home. When done correctly their Italian meat sandwich is the best I've had. This is the way 'Eegee's' should be! Thanks for coming to the Eastside now put one further east!

Fries, Turkey, Ham, and cheese. Not bad, nothing special

Saw this place on Reddit and was intrigued. Lived in Tucson area since a kid and found out it had an original owner of Eegees. I never cared for the drink but the sandwiches and fries from E were good. It didn't have a ham n cheese so was disappointed. Decided on Turkey, Ham, and cheese with fries. The fries were ok except it hot. The bread on sandwich was ok nothing special. Not enough sauce on sandwich so I had to dunk it in the ranch The service was pretty quick, so that is something. The decor is standard fast food.

I've been curious about this place and finally gave it a try. Upon walking in I noticed the layout was open and inviting so I ate in. I appreciated that the service was quick and employees were friendly. There's a good variety of food options from hot links to chicken sandwiches which made it difficult to choose which to try because I was interested in a few. The price point is good as well, especially for the quality and quantity. I ate the Chicken Parmesan Round sandwich and it was good. My favorite part was the flavor. I would get it again but not until I try more of the other many options :)

This place is great for a fast casual meal. I got the Italian meatball sub with cheese and peppers. I also got some garlic fries crispy. Both were generous portions and could have been too meals, but I was unable to resist finishing the fries. The peppers and onions were great to go with the sub.

Slice and Ice really is how eegees used to be when I was a kid. What I remember The sandwich's and fries are bomb. I personally didn't care that much for the pizza. But the fries, sandwiches, and ice beverages are great. The service was a typical fast food restaurant. The price was good. The ambiance itself is a typical fast food restaurant. Would return and recommend.

The ice was refreshing on this 100 degree day that was about it . 2 of 3 ice flavors were ok stay away from the ice tea one !!! The strawberry lemonade and watermelon were pleasant no dyes or flavorings added . The menus needs to clearly show what is on the pizza .As a first time costumer I had many questions non were answered with confidence .when I got my food I then asked if this was right trying to understand why I revived this blue chess's pizza . They weren't very helpful as I was blown away with the response while the 2 worker's turn start speaking a different language completely disregarding my experience with the awful food . I though I could at lest be happy with French fries but they even had zero flavor absolutely no salt what so ever and when I went to the register to get assistance the worker was more focused on putting in there own personal order for break in that it made the own situation akward .

It's a nice little shop on the Westside. I discovered it when the Tucson Foodie Facebook recommended it as an alternative to Eegee's. Not bad, but I still prefer Eegee's grinders. I ordered a slice of pepperoni, a grinder, and a drink. Total out the door was $16.85. I'll get the bad out of the way first. The pizza slice. While it's actually pretty good, it's the thinnest slice I've ever been served in my life. My first impression that this wasn't going to be very good but it actually had lots of good flavor. The other problem is the cornmeal (?) they use on the bottom. It turns black and you get it all over your hands. The crust isn't black, just the cornmeal. It's so messy that it actually got under my fingernails and I'm still trying to get it all out. They technically don't have a grinder but they have a 3-meat sandwich that acts like a grinder with the dressing and all that. It was pretty good. The bread is toasted by fresh and the ingredients tasted fresh. I got mine without olives because that's how I roll. Nice alternative to Eegee's, but, like I said, I think I still prefer Eegee's. The change was nice, tho. It's a free standing building which is easy to find. Plenty of parking. Friendly service. There's a soda dispenser so you get all the refills you want. The place is clean. Overall good atmosphere. I live on the Eastside and with traffic it took me about 45 minutes to get there. Would I do that again? Probably not. But if I were in the area I'd stop by again. It's pretty good overall.

It is a great crust, not quite as good as Luna's was (RIP), IYKYK, their pies edged this place out in consistency and crust flavor with that special yeast. Make it feel worthwhile. The service is a joke, sometimes someone will greet you, sometimes maybe not. It used to be you could walk into a place, even 15 minutes before they closed, and order food. Not so much with this place( and it's a pizza place ?!!?)-which is odd because you'd think they want money. I digress. I've gone in, in the past, half hour before closed, and been told they were out of dough! Pizza place out of the main ingredient. Obviously bad meal prep, planning, mgmt, -however you want to plate it. -Now-, there's an ordering system online to , idk, 'help things be orderly ' , maybe. Does the 18 inch somehow carry the majestic beauty and soul of the pizza 100 times better? Absolutely. I do not know what kind of black magic they are baking into the larger size, but boy does it hit the spot. Just a heads up, the place is as small as a Tic Tac, so I like to come during non-busy times to avoid the squeeze. Absolutely Worth the Drive!…read more We were visiting from West Phoenix and decided to try Falora Pizza, and I'm so glad we did! This place is definitely worth the drive. It's a smaller restaurant, but it's beautiful inside and has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The music was lovely, and the whole place had a really nice vibe. We ordered the Margherita pizza, Bianca pizza, Gnocchi, Piastra zucchini noodles, two sodas, and a Prosecco. Everything we tried was so good! The pizza crust was one of my favorite parts. It was cooked perfectly and had that nice little crunch without being too hard. The Margherita was delicious, and the Bianca was just as good. The Piastra zucchini noodles with house-made pesto, heirloom cherry tomatoes and spinach were AMAZING! I'm honestly still thinking about them. The Gnocchi with shiitake mushrooms, vegetable broth and ginger glaze was also delicious and something a little different. We had four dishes, drinks and Prosecco, and our total was under $99, which I thought was a great price for everything we enjoyed. I also thought it was really cool that when you check out, there's an option to claim a neighborhood reward through Cash App that can be used with participating local businesses or toward coming back to Falora. I love seeing ways to support local businesses and the neighborhood. Overall, we had such a great experience. It was definitely a refreshing choice for this hot summer day. We also split a couple of pizzas: the marinara and the Margherita. Both of these were topped with fresh basil and the crust was perfect perfectly crispy. Like all woodfired pizza, it does have a little bit of a char to it, but I love that. Overall, the service here was great and I would definitely come back. It also looks like you can order pizza to go and take it to the cocktail lounge next door. There's plenty of parking here, but it does get packed on a Friday night. There's some outdoor seating but on a rainy night it can get pretty cramped inside.

We started with the ABG salad that surprised me because I'm usually not a big fan of Gorgonzola, but the combination of green apple, pecan brittle, and cheese worked really well together and made for a great balance of flavors. For the pizza, we ordered the mushroom pizza and added pepperoni. The sauce was excellent I believe was some sort of a garlic/oil white sauce the mushroom portion was generous which I absolutely love, and the crust was exactly what I look for crunchy on the outside while still soft and slightly sweet inside. My only minor complaint with the toppings is that the $4 pepperoni add on felt a bit light, we only had a 2 or 3 slices per piece. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that our pizza was just slightly overcooked. The bottom was charred all the way around; wasn't burnt to the point of sending it back, but definitely left in the oven a minute or two longer than it needed to be. It wasn't busy when we visited, and it seemed like the employee rotating pizzas was a little more focused on chatting with FOH coworkers than keeping an eye on the oven. I've worked in pizza restaurants for nearly a decade, so I may be a bit more particular than most customers. Realistically, if our pizza had come out even a minute earlier, it would have been a 10/10 meal. That said, I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back. The quality is there, and I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future.

At 25% below regular total menu pricing (see side by side menu pic) Reilly's $45 for two tasting was the best bargain this year. We opted for the Brussels app, the pepperoni and pickled peppers pizza and the Mafalda meat pasta. The Brussels were nicely crisped and spiced but, we both agreed, just too much oil and vinegar. The pasta was outstanding with intriguingly long and wavy noodles in a deliciously meaty marinara sauce. Their thin crust pizza was very good too, with "mini-cupped" pepperoni. The pickled peppers weren't noticeable though and had us yearning for the meatball ricotta pizza instead. We chose the coffee gelato for dessert. Had we known it was two scoops we would have asked for one coffee and one vanilla?! The staff was very personable, quick to welcome us and take our orders. The pizza looked amazing and I heard many notes of it being the best crust ever consumed. My GF/DF pizza did not hit the same notes. The crust was dense and gummy. The overall pizza was pretty bland. I ordered the marinara pizza with garlic and mushrooms. We arrived at Renee's with our boys on a 90+ degree Arizona day, hot, hungry, and excited to celebrate them after their first flag football game. Instead of sitting down to enjoy a meal, we were told that families with children are only allowed to dine on the patio. Meanwhile, the air-conditioned dining room was completely empty. Not "almost full." Empty. I understand that businesses are allowed to have their own policies, but expecting families with young children to sit outside in 90+ degree heat while an empty, air-conditioned dining room sits right there is certainly a choice. And not a particularly welcoming one. Apparently, celebrating your kids after their first flag football game meant sweating through dinner on the patio while an entire empty dining room sat comfortably indoors. With the temperature over 90 degrees, that was not a reasonable option for our family. Needless to say, we left. Tucson has plenty of wonderful restaurants where families can celebrate, cool off, and enjoy a meal indoors without being limited to the patio simply because they brought their children. So no, I can't tell you whether the pizza is good. We never got that far. I can tell you the hospitality left a bad enough taste that we won't be back to find out
