This was one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. I never received my order, and when I asked about it they said it was returned because I was "no longer at the address". Well, I have lived here for 11 years and I am not going anywhere, so this is absurd. I asked them to resend it or refund my money and they have been ignoring this request and gaslighting me, alternately. Online customer service is seriously lacking here- DO NOT order from them online. Because based on my experience, you'll pay for two tubes of hair dye, only receive one and then be called a liar when you try and bring this to their customer service. They would rather make the assumption that you are trying to get free product instead of considering that their warehouse made an honest mistake and thought they packed the entire order but they actually didn't. Maybe my experience would have been fantastic if I had gone and did curbside pickup, maybe the people that work there are fantastic humans- I won't know because I will not be shopping here online or in person/curbside ever again. I love small businesses, and I want to support small businesses, but it's not good practice to take money for two items and when contacted about how only one item was received, basically tell your customers "lol, not our problem". After the last email I sent where I told them I would be contacting my bank to to have the charge reversed since I did not receive my entire order, I received an email back explaining how they ship things, and they reviewed my order and found "nothing missing". To their credit, now they have offered to send me my missing item- "free of cost". It can't be that free if I already paid for it. They also were very condescending, making it seem like the mistake was my fault and not theirs. The only mistake I made was ordering from them. I shouldn't have to bring up getting the charge reversed to get what I paid for. This has been a headache and a half, and this all started because I wanted what I paid for so I could touch up my hair. read more

What a awesome Company! I've orders three times from this company because their orders come quickly AND prices are responsible. The last time I ordered, I had a coupon code and thought I was to receive 25% off. They shipped my order the following day without taking my the 25% off. I emailed them the following day, they got back to me a few days later informing me the coupon was expired by one day and they were going to honor it anyways! Looked online for cosmetic stores for makeup brushes that were not expensive and search online to find local stores. I found sleekshop and drove over. A sign on the door indicated the store was closed due to the covid-19 pandemic but right when I was getting ready to leave a representative came out to help me. Good store with good selection, but the order confirmation process is misleading. You place your order, they take your payment, you then receive a "confirmation email"; however - if you forgot to "sign in" upon visiting the website, your order will not actually be added to your account and won't be shipped. Most sites prompt you to sign in if you aren't already and it's necessary to be. They shouldn't be allowed to accept payment if you are not signed in. This is an easy way for you to pay, and they never send your products then blame you, the customer for not realizing that you are not signed in. I was informed that in the future they will not help by adding an order to my account if I mistakenly don't sign in. Sleekshop, you should make the customer sign in before it is even possible to enter payment info, that would solve the problem. read more

Positives: They have really good prices on cosmetics and a fairly good selection. That is about where the positives end. Negatives: I am so happy I paid with Paypal, because they were the only ones who contacted me at all about the status of my order in any capacity. After a week of waiting with no communication from Sleekhair, I finally sent them an email. After a few days of no replies from the email, I decided to call. It took me a very long time to actually communicate with a human being. I gave her my info and she informed me that 2 of my items were on back order and they sent me an email informing me of this (and of course they hadn't). I informed the customer service agent that I wanted them to ship what they had and cancel the items on back order. This was three business days ago, she stated I'd get an email with shipping info, and, you guessed it, I haven't received anything. This has been beyond frustrating.
