I'm from Buffalo, traveled to Toronto yesterday for Ripley's and stopped here for dinner. Atmosphere is AMAZING the mural of Jeff Hannamen and his signature on the wall were awesome. I got the predator burger and my partner got the pandemonium and they were DELICIOUS tucked away in Toronto this place is amazing and I will be traveling back for more. The service was awesome and very welcoming. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone

Slayer burger was delicious!!! Juicy double patties with just the right amount of sauce. Poutine was tasty but tiny for $8 (deceiving from what was advertised). It was frustrating trying to place my order since they didn't pick up the phone nor was their online platform functional. Their online order platform was down for 2 days likely because they were increasing the prices (yes, the slayer burger went from $13.99 to $14.99). Pick up experience was quick and easy. One lady was warm and friendly while another was transactional.

We will certainly come back. It took them about 5-10 minutes to prepare our order, two burgers, a shake, onion rings and fries. Considering everything tasted delicious and fresh, I think it's a more than acceptable time. I must say that both my shake and my burgers were spicy to my limit (which is not that high ). I really like it though. The wife's Slayer burger was very good, she was full before she finished her fries, and I don't complain! The ambience was neat and clean. I loved the wall paintings.

Food tastes great here! Burgers are super flavourful and not dry at all. The food is delivered to your table by one of those fun robots! Only about 4-5 tables there but just enough for this corner spot! It was steadily busy for take out and dine in. Definitely a great neighbourhood spot and can't wait to come back to try the milkshakes and the secret menu!

    First Degree waygu burger.

First time trying Slayer Burger. We got the First Degree and the Slit Burger, along with the fries. The First Degree (waygu) burger was good, but I don't think it was worth $33. If you gave me that burger in a blind taste test, I never could have guessed that it was made with waygu beef. The Slit burger was pretty good for $7- better than other burgers in the area. The fries were also great and crispy- very happy with the meal overall. I had originally called to order the burgers and I forgot the name of there First Degree burger, so I referenced "the waygu burger" and the person who picked up the phone was very confused and had no idea what I was talking about. She even asked her coworkers and she said they "didn't have that on the menu". But when you only have one waygu burger on the menu, you'd think the staff would know. After I searched the menu on my own and named "First Degree", everything was fine. The food was also ready in a speedy time.

Softest burger buns! Burger was lacking a bit of flavour and needed ketchup for some acidity. The garlic mayo sauce was good and fries as well as the burger were fresh!

I had been to Slayer about 4 times before today's visit and each time i came away thinking "good but over-priced". I gave them another chance today as i really wanted to try the "Jack" burger off their secret menu (I guess their FB advertising worked lol). The Jack is a "tall" (extra thick) Canadian AAA beef patty with Jack Daniel's bacon onion jam, gouda, and sliced red onion. And the verdict? Clearly their best out of all the ones i tried. I liked the thick burger and am glad they didnt cook it medium-well (as listed on the menu)...i dare say it was medium rare. There was also a good amount of the perfectly melted gouda cheese and the special bun was much better than their other buns. It is too bad i didnt have this one from the beginning. Still, i find them too expensive to give 5 stars.

I had my first experience at Slayer Burger. First I don't understand why if they serve homemade burgers than why frozen crinkle cut fries?? Second, the meat to bun ratio is very much backwards. They press the patty very thin on the flat top. It can't be any more than 4 or 5 ounces cooked? The result is a very thick bun and a hard to distinguish patty. So along with the toppings of only lettuce and tomato, and I'm not exadurating. I couldn't detect any measurable beef taste. I've been cooking professionally for 40 years and I know what I'm talking about. I would not recommend their burgers to anyone

This was a very good burger. We stopped in before the Molchat Doma concert and grabbed a burger fries and a beer. Their house brand pilsner was very decent. I enjoyed the burger,, it was cooked very well.

The burger was fantastic and my friend got the onion rings and they too were delicious. A beautiful out door patio and the device was excellent. The price is absolutely fair and the food and service is outstanding.

The I Heart Butter Tart Concrete ($6.49) that I ordered was a little too much for myself. I did decide to go through and finish the ice cream / sundae just so I don't have anything to go. The interior of the place was properly though out and well designed. Self order stations are available to order from and the ordering interface is one of the better systems I have seen. When I dined in early afternoon on a weekday it was a rather slow day. There were a couple of Shake Shack employees constantly roaming about the premises ready to attend to any customer request. 1 such employee was thoughtful enough to serve me and a group of other customers some water. I have mixed feelings about the bathroom setup. Yes, it is clean and there were a few toilet rooms available, but it requires a code to be entered prior to using. The door screen shows as vacant but an employee still needs to give out the 4 digit code needed to access the toilets. I also found some issues with the water faucet sensors. It is inconsistently picking up my gestures resulting in an unreliable and unsteady flow of running water when I was washing my hands.

This place is a definite must-try. The place has a few spots to eat, and the decor is beyond adorable and fitting. I couldn't get enough of the potato puns. The gentleman was incredibly nice in explaining what the top favs were and was even nice to allow me to add an ingredient, as one of my spuds had something removed (no coleslaw for me). My order consisted of Mexican Fiesta and Nashville Chick. My husband took his Mexican fiesta potato as is, but I ended up switching my pulled chicken for fried chicken. The potatoes were amazing! The base potato was so flavourful and not bland at all, evenly seasoned on its own without the toppings. The toppers were delicious and went well with the spud. It hasn't even been a week, and I'm already jonesing for my next potato bar experience.

We grabbed two patties spicy beef, the pastry was delicious and the filling was just enough, moist and only mildly spicy. I kinda wished they offered chili flakes or something. The jerk chicken is so flavourful. It also comes with cuts of soft curry potatoes. Also have tried the Jerk pork and oxtail dish, 2 thumbs up! The staff always fill your take out container with so much food, they can barely close the lid. I tell you the staff rarely close the lid on the first attempt because it's so packed! This container comes bursting at the seams, that I can typically stretch one order over 2 meals! Win - win! If you have it this way for dinner and pack the rest for lunch the next day, you're looking at spending $7.50 per meal (as the bowl is about $15).
