Aloha Burger
Rob W.

Today we had Burgers on Fleek It's a Halal burger joint located in Ajax They have a selection of gourmet burgers with various toppings Inside the spot has a small spot to sit and eat We ordered through phone today for take out Ease of ordering was simple and easy My brother-in-law ordered the Snatched burger which had a deep fried havarti patty on it.... My sister ordered the classic which had simple toppings on it I ordered the Aloha burger.....which had beef bacon and a pineapple slice on it..... We ordered a large fries and onion rings which we all shared and was enough for myself and four other people The burgers were excellent..... My brother in law complimented on the taste of it I would definitely go back again for another gourmet burger and this is a solid burger joint in Ajax and Durham region

A bit pricey but good food.

My friend and I recently dropped in for dinner at Burgers on Fleek in Ajax. Everything on the menu looked good. We finally decided on the BAE, a burger with beef bacon, cheese, sautéed onions, and more, and the Hookup, which featured AAA rib-eye steak with sautéed onions, roasted peppers, mushrooms, and cheese, among other things. The BAE burger arrived first, looking picture-perfect! It tasted as good as it looked. My friend really enjoyed it. The Hookup was huge, dripping with lots of cheese. How am I supposed to eat this? It came with a knife and fork, just in case, but I decided to give it a try without assistance. I grabbed it tightly and wrapped my mouth around it. Mmm, good! The bun was really fresh and soft. The beef was tender and flavourful. The cheese, mushrooms, and onions, really made this an excellent sandwich! The fries, however were disappointingly not crispy. Overall, this was a good meal, with friendly service. It was quite pricey though. The steak sandwich combo with fries and drink totaled $28.20 before gratuity. That's more than what I'm used to paying for a sandwich, even when it's this good.

August 20, 2024 - Sweet potato fries

August 20, 2024 - I must say the staff here are so nice and sweet! She gave my nieces Hello Kitty stickers :D, which my youngest niece used for her tattoos :o Menus and ordering food is at the front counter. We ordered: 3 G.O.A.T 1 Pick Me 1 The Basic The G.O.A.T burgers are HUGE!! Definitely something we would share the next time we go there. We actually couldn't finish them and asked for 3 takeout boxes. The Basic burger was for my youngest niece and she pretty much ate most of it.. The Pick Me burger was good too. We also ordered sweet potato fries, it was nice and crispy.

Possibly the best burger in Durham Region! The burger was well seasoned, fresh and delicious. A decent size for the price and definitely something I'd come back for. Accompanied by fries that were perfectly salted and crispy, I ate way too many but I don't regret it! Atmosphere was modern, and the restaurant was very clean. There was a bit of a wait but it's well worth it. Check this place out!

Inside the Shroom

I had the shroom burger which is a breaded portobello mushroom stuffed with cheese. The best portobello burger I've tried. Also had the cheese fries. Would def order both again. I went on a Friday night and it was about a 20 min wait just as they said. They take your phone number down & call you if you're not there so you don't have to stay and wait. We were able to head a couple doors down and grab a bubble team while we waited. For people with dietary restrictions: gravy is beef based. The cheese they use has no rennet. They use paper bags and cardboard containers for the food. I believe it was the owner/manager that gave our order to us - you can tell how much he appreciated our business. He was very thankful.

Took my son for his birthday lunch. Omg this place has amazing burgers. We had the MELT and THE BROMANCE burgers. We will be going back again soon to try some of the others items on the menu. BROMANCE 6 oz beef patty with mozzarella cheese, topped with fried chicken, grilled jalapenos, sautéed onions, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle sauce THE MELT 6oz beef patty with swiss cheese, mushrooms, sautéed onions and garlic mayo. He added a friend egg to the burger to make it outstanding. The chicken bromance was the bomb.

This is the G.O.A.T chicken burger so big it hangs over the buns lol.

This was the best chicken burger I've ever had!! So large that I saved half for dinner!! Worth every penny can't wait to go back

I ordered "the original" burger and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was so tender and juicy and the breaded exterior was so flaky. The burger was very filling, I didn't order any fries and I was barely able to finish. definitely recommend, I will be going back to try one of the beef burgers!

Bromance burger combo with onion rings

These guys make some impressive burgers! We tried the Bromance burger ( beef patty with mozzarella topped with a piece of fried chicken). The burger itself was spectacular to look at (see photo). The fried chicken was surprisingly good, perfectly cooked with a crispy coating. The burger also comes with fried onions, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato and a chipotle sauce. With all that, even though the burger was amazing, it lacked a little bit in terms of flavor so I added some ketchup and mustard. After that, it was perfect! The fresh cut fries and onion rings also very good.

Burger

I have a huge appetite but this burger was massive. I ordered this burger with fries and removed the chicken and ate it with the sweet potatoe fries the next day LOL. Even with the removal of the chicken the burger was extremely filling and I did not finish it. The food is hot and made to order and they'll text you when it's done. I do wish the dining room area was bigger but that's out of there control

Miss Lady ..

Was looking forward to a good gourmet burger. But to be honest, it did not seem that the burger was very well seasoned. The portion was smaller than I had expected for the price. For the amount that I paid for the high-school-cafeteria caliber poutine, it was a big rip-off. Whereas it should have cost $3 for the portion I got, I paid $6.50. The onion rings were very basic. When I called and I said I wanted the burger with the jalapeno poppers, the worker there didn't even know which Burger I was talking about. They don't even know their menu items. It was really embarrassing. I had to go online and look up the exact name for them. Look at the fucking menu. Why am I searching it for you? Overall the food was greasy and bland, with inadequate portions and it was all overpriced. Unfortunately I will not be returning and I would not recommend this place.

The burgers are definitely on fleek. Portions are good and their fries are good too. Also like their yam fries

Great burgers. Ordered from Uber eats...it was packaged really well. Beef was really fresh. Really filling! The fries are big portion for medium. Would recommend the loaded fries! They do gravy on the side but cheese can't be on the side. Not that great reheated so would recommend sharing instead of getting your own fries.

Burgers were super dry. 25 minute wait time. And food I originally came for was out of stock.

Ryan is the founder of the business, which he runs with family and friends. We got to meet Riott, his son, who had a love for skulls and all Halloween decorations at this eatery. This place specializes in sandwiches. Many of their meats are slow-cooked for ten hours. Sauces, soups, and slaw are homemade. We ordered many items off the menu and had what we liked: - Jalapeno and house slaws - Chickpea and ham soup - Roasted garlic and tomato soup - The Brooklyn (Italian) - Hot corned beef - Montreal smoked meat - Slicey's chopped chicken - Chicken club wrap I started with the hot corned beef sandwich. The corned beef was generous and so flavourful. The rye bread held all that tender corned beef together, along with the best grainy mustard aioli. I am a soup girl. I enjoyed the roasted garlic and tomato soup. It had the perfect amount of garlic with tomatoes, along with onions and spices. It was a comforting, smooth soup. The chickpea and ham soup was excellent. It had nice cubes of ham with chickpeas. It was so hearty and delicious. I also love slaw. The jalapeno and house slaws were crunchy. The former was creamy with a touch of heat. The latter was vinegar-based. You get the best of both slaw dressing worlds! I then had the Montreal smoked meat. It was full of the most tender smoked meat on rye bread with mustard. So good! I'm not sure how I managed to down Slicey's chopped chicken sandwich. It was so good that I did! It had slow-cooked chicken that was chopped with tomato, and red onion. It included the jalapeno slaw, along with white cheddar. It was messy to eat, but so worth it. The flavours were outstanding. This business supports other local businesses. The bread comes from a local bakery. It also features Purple Tongue hot sauces. Staff are super friendly and kind. They can craft a sandwich to your liking if you go with The Riott. There were two separate washroom stalls. I used one of them before I left this eatery. It was clean. No complaints. It's a comfortable place to hang out with friends over good food and drinks. I ended up having a Diet Coke and Crush cream soda during the two hours that we were here. They were cold and refreshing. It's street parking for three hours. It's free, which is nice. Alternatively, there is a parking lot across from this eatery. I look forward to returning for more good eats and soup. It's a gem of a sandwich place that happens to have awesome soups and slaw. (391)

The husband and wife team were working away behind the counter and young Ryan was spending time with his family and his toys; Genuine wholesome service. I spoke with the owners and they shared that they always enjoyed supporting local sandwich shops, but after their favorites closed they decided to open their own. I love that . Bread is fresh daily from a local bakery. Depeding on the day they can sell out of items but that just speaks to popularity and freshness. We ordered a bunch of different items and split them all. Sandwiches are loaded with bright, fresh toppings. I also LOVE that they support local and even have my FAVORITE hotsauce in store. Purple tongue. I highly recommend adding the cilantro lime to any sandwich. It compliments them so well. The Brooklyn (Italian) Hot Corned Beef Montreal Smoked Meat Slicey's Chopped Chicken Chicken Club Wrap Jalapeno & House Slaw Chickpea and Ham Soup Megan's Roasted Garlic Tomato Soup The Italian was definitely a favorite and the Slicey's Chopped Chicken was so incredibly tender. The tomato soup was quite flavorful and another fan favorite for our group. There's lots to see in this area, so we even went for a stroll after our amazing luncheon .

If the owners are reading this: PLEASE BRING IT BACK. They also had other unique caffeinated inventions but I don't see them as often. That being said, their main stay is truly their gelato. And that has to stay. There are traditional flavours like cheesecake, but then you also got a Ceylon Ginger Biscuit all on display just being so enticing. It's practically begging for me to take it home. Which I did and loved it. They also have sandwiches which I haven't tried, but again they are unique and bring in those South Asian elements. If it gets too busy, you'll have to wait outside. Inside is nice and clean looking, very aesthetically pleasing. There were a lot of staff working too. I ordered a double scoop of the Maple Walnut and New York Cheesecake ($9 + tax). I really enjoyed the Maple Walnut, it was good. Had a good combination of both flavours. The New York Cheesecake was OK. It didn't really taste like the cake, but I still enjoyed whatever the taste was. The toppings that they put on top was good. It was like some crunchy crumble. Overall, I'd come back and try out the other flavours. Looking on their website, they have so many other flavours which weren't available at the time. One thing I would have liked to see was some outdoor seating or something. I had to stand outside the shop to eat my gelato.
