Eddy Gomez came over and, after the inspection, confirmed that termites were active. I had previously used another company, which concerned me because, for whatever reason, their inspections had missed this activity. I also had another termite company come out and received their pricing. Green Flash was the last company I had inspect the property, and they provided the best option along with a reasonable price for the work. It wasn't cheap, but it was fair and reasonable based on the other bids I received, and there were options. I had read many of the past reviews and can say my dealings with the office managers (Amy & Wendy) went well. In addition, I received emails and text messages as reminders of the scheduled date and instructions required for this appointment. On the scheduled day, my doorbell rang promptly at 7:00 a.m., right at the beginning of the 7:00-9:00 a.m. arrival window. The project manager, Kyler, arrived, and two other gentlemen soon followed to begin the work replacing termite-damaged wood and then fumigating my attic. My neighbor even commented on how Jorge and Dave were just knocking out the work. When my wife came out later to see what had been replaced, she couldn't even tell because of the quality of the work these men provided. Everyone was easy to speak with and answered all of my questions. In addition, there wasn't a piece of wood or a splinter left anywhere around the house after they were finished. By 3:30 p.m., everything was completed, and I was given instructions on what to do if I had any further questions or encountered any additional termite activity. I'm glad I did my research and found Green Flash. I would recommend them to anyone who reads this and is looking for termite inspection and treatment services.

I am giving Green Flash 2 stars based on a severely rushed recent inspection and the poor quality…read moreof their past repair work. Recently, I had them come out because I suspected termites in one of our rafter tails. To their credit, they correctly identified that specific spot as just fungus and didn't try to oversell me on treatments I didn't need. However, their inspection was incredibly brief. They spent only a few minutes scanning the house, didn't check the attic at all, and gave us the all-clear. A couple of days later, I had a second company come out for another look. They spent almost an hour doing a thorough inspection and found a severe termite infestation in a different rafter tail that was almost entirely hollowed out. They spotted the signs right through the paint. Green Flash completely missed this. On top of the missed inspection, the wood rot repairs Green Flash did for us 5 years ago (costing about $1,200) have both failed and need to be redone. They spliced a rafter tail that is now loose, and it turns out they miscut a replacement barge board on the back of the house. To cover up the bad cut, they glued a scrap piece of wood over it, which has since detached and is currently hanging off the board. Bottom line: They failed to do a thorough termite inspection, and their carpentry work doesn't hold up. I highly recommend getting a second opinion on their inspections and hiring a dedicated specialist for any actual wood repairs.

Soooo much better than the large companies - we tried two different large companies before this that were terrible, they would do a decent job on initial visit then on next scheduled visit would be on the property for less than 5 minutes and say they didn't have supplies they needed and would come back - then never did. Had to threaten a lawsuit to get out of contract because the other place did such a bad job and didn't take care of the issues we were paying them for. Verde on the other hand took care of all rodent and insect issues, and the regular maintenance visits are thorough, they are always prepared, and we've never had any insect or rodent issues since.

The products they use to deter pests are not only superior and effective, but they are environmentally friendly - safe around your little ones and furry friends. I am always given clear instructions to allow the spray to dry up before letting pets and kids roam (usually about 20 minutes or so). I've used their services for about a year and would recommend them over all others. They have been responsive during times of increased pest activity and their routine services are timely and effective (for my needs where I stay, I typically have them come by quarterly during the cold months and monthly when it's warmer). Finally, the smile that you see in the photos from the owner is actually a perfect reflection of how Ray and his team interact with their customers. They're pleasant, professional, kind, courteous and a pleasure to do business with.

It makes me sad to write this review because I had no issues with Homeshield until a few months…read moreago. I have been a customer of Homeshield for years and have had various services - wood rot treatment, monthly pest and rodent service, rodent exclusion treatment. My parents also have Homeshield service their home because of my referral. I want to make it clear that the technicians who service my house continue to be great. My usual technician is Julio and he's always super friendly, on time, and does a great job. My issues in the last few months pertain only to the call center and billing. In April I was charged for my monthly service even though no technician came out to service my house. I called Homeshield to let them know and they indicated I would not be charged for June. When June came, I was still charged for June so I had to call back to ask once again for money back. The call center indicated that I called too late before they processed the payment so the charge would fall off my July billing. At the beginning of July I called Homeshield to schedule my monthly treatment because I was going to be out of town. I informed the call center that I was going to be out of town and that was the reason for me scheduling my monthly service. The call center was able to get my monthly pest service schedule before I left, the call center did not indicate that I had a separate rodent treatment schedule for July 24. I left the country and while on my trip I got a text that my house would be serviced on July 24. I was pretty confused because I thought I had my house serviced and I even told the call center I would be out of town. Due to the 9 hour time difference I had to tell my brother to call Homeshield to cancel the appointment. On July 22, my brother informed me that he canceled my appointment and notified Homeshield that I would call to reschedule. On July 24, I got a text from the technician that he was about 30 minutes from my house to perform the service. I had to respond via text that I had cancelled my appointment and apologize that the call center did not inform him that I had cancelled. I am not too sure what is causing the breakdown in communication but I honestly feel terrible for these technicians not being informed of things. It also doesn't sit right with me that I have to apologize to the technician not for anything I did, but for the breakdown in communication caused directly by the call center. I also am not sure what is happening with the scheduling since before the no show incident in April I had technicians service my house every single month without issue. Update: Bryana from Homeshield called me on August 5 to learn more about the breakdown in billing, communication, and scheduling. She was really friendly, professional, and apologetic. I felt like she was not calling simply for me to fix my review but actually listened and wanted to make sure that as a customer I felt that things were remedied. She thoroughly explained my services and what Homeshield was going to do to help make everything right. She also informed me that she was going to reach out to my dad to make sure his experience as a customer was great. Overall, I am really happy with how Homeshield handled remedying the situation to ensure that I continued to receive better services in regards to billing and scheduling.

I had mentioned to Darla to skip service because of this, and will resume when ready. But just noticed that I have been continued to be auto charged ($87 each time) good thing I looked as I was getting ripped off. Very surprised of this as I'd mentioned this for multiple months to get ahead of this situation and give HomeShield as much communication as possible. It is crappy feeling to have my money taken like that I called in and spoke with Luca and he was helpful in telling me that I'll get credited back for 2 months, and will have CC on hold so not charged. That made me feel good. He said I'd get confirmation email in a few minutes but it's been nearly 2 hours and no email and my CC still showing no credit/refund. They are happy to auto charge me, but cannot accommodate their current customers with the ability to pause service, causing additional headache for me I'll see if there is anything worth updating if/when it happens. otherwise will go straight to credit card company and dispute charges...I don't have time to keep going back to HomeShield to check if they did their work right Still considering if I will continue with HomeShield once I need service again; but I figure I'll have better choice when that time comes UPDATE: after reading other review of not being able to cancel service, I called right back and spoke with Patricia. I asked to cancel service, but she could not do so and had to transfer me to other department and ask me to hold for "2 minutes". After 2 minutes, she came back on saying no one could talk to me to cancel. Seriously?? I asked if I can get her my verbal authorization to relay my cancel message to someone. No can do, so I have to wait for someone to call me back so I can say "CANCEL" really frustrated now...

My card was always valid, and I have never had ongoing autopay issues with any other company the way I did with Home Guard. Yet with them, the autopay would repeatedly fail. They would then call and call about the payment, I would update the card again, and a month or two later the exact same thing would happen. This became a constant cycle even though there was nothing wrong with my card. Eventually, we stopped using their service because the billing problems and repeated calls became too much. Now, after all of that, I'm receiving messages from a debt collector claiming I owe Home Guard money, and I don't even know what the balance is for. After being a customer for more than six years, I expected much better account management and communication. Their billing system caused repeated problems, and now I'm the one having to deal with collections because of it. Very disappointing experience.

We received several comparable bids, but what ultimately set CaliCo apart was their exceptional customer service. From the very beginning, they took the time to thoroughly educate us about the bird netting product, the installation process, the swallows' nesting habits, and what we could realistically expect moving forward. I had countless questions, and they were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the entire process. Every message was answered promptly, and communication was excellent from start to finish. The installation itself was done with an impressive level of care and attention to detail. The crew was meticulous about cleanup, making sure no debris or hardware pieces were left behind, which was especially important to us because we have both a young child and a dog. They even went above and beyond by offering to paint an area where some hardware was visible and touched up a small section of stucco so everything blended seamlessly. For a project that isn't necessarily something you're excited to spend money on, it makes a huge difference to work with a company that makes you feel confident and cared for every step of the way. CaliCo did exactly that. We've also used them for ant control both before and after this project and have had great results each time. Their professionalism, expertise, responsiveness, and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction have made them our go-to pest control company. We highly recommend CaliCo to anyone looking for pest control services or bird exclusion work. They truly went above and beyond.
