We ran across Pretty Little Taco Truck that has their take on birria tacos and had great reviews so we decided to head to Triton Yards. While it's not a huge place, it's a decent size. It is located in the Westend of Atlanta. We went on a Saturday and I believe there was about 5 food trucks along with a dj. They also have plenary of parking. There's a lot directly behind them for parking, as well as I noticed parking on the side where people could park. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Triton Yards is family friendly. While there was a dj, the music was good and appropriate for all present. There is a green space out there with games for the kids like big jenga, as well as a fire pit for s'mores when the sun sets. They sell a s'mores kit for $3 which isn't bad. I also liked the fact that they have a drink shack with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. I really love that there is something like this in the African American community! I think that it gives those who live in and around the community a safe place to have fun and experience other minority small businesses that they can support. In following them on social media, I've noticed they also provide other events like wellness Wednesdays (yoga) and sip and paints. I know I'll be back because there's a number of other places I'd like to try and I love the fact that they support and provide a nice space for African Americans, as well as others to experience.

There is street parking & a grassy parking lot. They had the back parking lot open but when I've gone lately it's been closed.

I headed over to Triton Yards and the line wasn't too bad. While waiting I overheard the lady in front of me ordering a bunch of tacos and was I was like "Dang!" I had two separate orders. The oxtail tacos and churros for the first. The second order consisted of an OG steak taco, oxtail taco, fish taco, elote and the cauliflower taco. It took about 25 mins to get my order. Got my order and headed towards my car. I open the taco box and the tacos are smaller than what you would normally get for a taco. So I eat the first one. It's good! Eat the next, and it's even better. Y'all each taco was better than the last. The cauliflower taco was last and it was beyond delicious! Y'all I was pissed!! Every freakin taco was great! I'm mad that I didn't know that you should order more tacos! No wonder the lady in front of me ordered so much food! I'll be back to get more.

We waited in line (totally understandable given the location is new) for about 25 minutes to order. We then waited over an hour...yes you read that right...over 60 minutes for our food. Let's start with the tacos. First - they were cold. Second - where was the meat?! Like seriously - where? The portions are ridiculously small and the food is greasy. Next is the street corn. It tasted like either canned corn or frozen corn. The guacamole and the queso also tasted like they were store bought and came in a tiny little container. Lastly - the chips - the chips were TOSTITOS. What in the actual? We spent $45 to leave frustrated that we waited over an hour and a half from start to finish for our meal, frustrated that we left hungry & beyond disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. Save your money.
