My last visit I added on a side of flounder $4.99 and it came with two small pieces. I didn't really like the red snapper, but it's a personal preference, it's a little too thick for me and I didn't like that they kept the skin at the bottom when they fried, I don't want any skin on my fish when I eat it. The whiting was very good and fried just how I like it. So, make sure you select the correct cooking options when you place your harder, I selected hard and crispy. The flounder was my favorite; it was perfectly fried and seasoned. I'm going to get the flounder dinner next time with coleslaw. Mac n cheese is okay, not great just okay, I add a little jerk seasoning to it when I get home. The okra is very good! I also enjoy their bean pie; it has a nice spice flavor and the perfect serving. I do not like their tartar sauce, it's not thick, it's too watery and doesn't have a taste that I personally care for. The hot sauce is all I need or I add a little siracha to their tartar sauce and it's perfect. I place my order online and it's always ready when I arrive. There is free parking and it's never a problem entering or exiting the lot. When you enter go to the pick up area to the left if you placed your order online. Service was friendly both times. The steamed okra was perfect! Not mushy or too stringy. Now when I went to visit a week later after my plate was delivered to me, the place is not a sit down type of establishment. It's small and has seating for waiting, and if it's packed, it's not much room for that. But they get you in and out fairly quickly. You'll stand in line and order at the restaurant, and they'll make your plate in the order your ticket falls in line with when you placed the order. It appears everyone there is Jamaican since they have Jamaican items on the menu along with soul food and the ladies in the restaurant have accents. I loved it! I got free banana bread as I waited and the rest of us did as well. My oxtail plate is about average with others around $33 with tax. Would I be back, you be it!
