Therefore , she helped me with my selection. When I got to the car I decided to eat in the car after I returned to the location where I needed to be . The fish were relatively small pieces but they were decent enough to enjoy and feel like the trip was worth it. Almost anything is better than Captain D's fish that sliced in half to make two pieces . My only qualm were the fries . While the fries weren't heavily salted; they were hard and cold . Now, about the wait. I made the mistake of coming here on Mother's Day once and you would have thought I was waiting for a table at a fine dining restaurant. The place was PACKED OUT. While I do recall it was "cheap eats" back in the late 90s it is not as cheap now but reasonable (specials are great!) and still cheaper than most places. While the locals are familiar with Chic-a-Loes I believe the secret has been let out due to a "creator's" reel that's floating around. I responded that I would prefer the meal instead. Her response was, "Well, you already paid for it." Mind you, I was literally still signing and even tipping 22% when this conversation happened.
