We ran across Pretty Little Taco Truck that has their take on birria tacos and had great reviews so we decided to head to Triton Yards. While it's not a huge place, it's a decent size. It is located in the Westend of Atlanta. We went on a Saturday and I believe there was about 5 food trucks along with a dj. They also have plenary of parking. There's a lot directly behind them for parking, as well as I noticed parking on the side where people could park. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Triton Yards is family friendly. While there was a dj, the music was good and appropriate for all present. There is a green space out there with games for the kids like big jenga, as well as a fire pit for s'mores when the sun sets. They sell a s'mores kit for $3 which isn't bad. I also liked the fact that they have a drink shack with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. I really love that there is something like this in the African American community! I think that it gives those who live in and around the community a safe place to have fun and experience other minority small businesses that they can support. In following them on social media, I've noticed they also provide other events like wellness Wednesdays (yoga) and sip and paints. I know I'll be back because there's a number of other places I'd like to try and I love the fact that they support and provide a nice space for African Americans, as well as others to experience.

A great food truck park, they have a variety of food trucks come here everyday of the week. Places…read moreto sit and eat, tvs & games while you wait. On certain days they have movie showings. HoTT Stanking Mess!!! Incompetence at it's hottest!!…read more Rude young lady took the wrong order and I explained it to her only three times. It was me and another person who only ordered 2 snow cup.. one was strawberry shortcake in the medium size and she upgrades his to large and then downgraded me to 2 smaller size snow cups and split my flavors up. So when I explained to her mine was completely wrong and that I wanted all the flavors in one. The young lady still gave it to me in a small cup then says Ill refund the rest ...which she didn't and lied about it and then the manager Mary lies about reverse the charge for the difference of the snow cone she added. They think people stupid about money when I work to damn hard for this shit over some overpriced flavor syrup over crushed ice. $28.55 was the amount and I received a text from square up when the transaction was originally taken ...but when she so called reversed/ refunded my ( never told me the amount) it went to a different card...I showed her my app and my debit card transaction..to show it was not refunded.. they both lied and made up numbers ending on someone else card...not mine. She never offered a cash refund or no explanation...she was like okay move on.... I suggest don't patron this business....and they don't take cash after all this it's ridiculous to be so ignorant when dealing with electronic transactions and you dont know how to properly refund back to the same card and transaction number...they need to be trained on accounting and customer service!!! I was outside this food truck for at least 20 mins making my point with the idiots not comprehending. I got so hot and frustrated that the ice cone was melted and it was a hot stanking mess!!! So people beware and check your order before walking off from the truck!!!!! It's too hot for disagreements!!

I just left LT's and, sheesh... what a letdown. Let me start by saying, I hate writing reviews like…read morethis, especially for small businesses. I really wanted to like this place. I was hoping to grab some crab legs for my grandmother's birthday celebration, but from the moment I walked through the door, I could tell it wasn't going to go how I hoped. There were barely any options in the display case. Maybe one or two fish, a random cluster, but nothing that made you feel like the store was stocked for folks to shop. And nothing in there was fresh. Everything was frozen. So, I inquired asking if there was more. The person behind the case told me that there was more in the back. I asked him about his crab legs, and was in complete shock when he stated the price. They were charging per cluster, not per pound. A small snow crab cluster? $11. A medium one? $27. That's insanity! At Whole Foods, I can get a whole pound of snow crab with 2-3 clusters for $15. They're charging customers more for less. That's easily over 80% more for maybe half the crab legs. And it sucks to even write this, because I really do try to support businesses in the West End. I want that place gouging is ridiculous. But somebody's gotta say something. I hope they rethink how they're price points and what kind of experience they want folks to have when they walk through the door. But as of today, I won't be back.

I typically never buy crawfish from seafood markets in Atlanta, but on Fat Tuesday, I was feeling…read morehomesick for Louisiana and broke my rule. Unfortunately, I should have stuck to it. This was actually the second seafood market I went to that evening because I had to throw away food from the first place. The usual spots I frequent were packed and had ridiculously high prices, so I decided to try LT New Orleans Seafood Market by ordering on DoorDash. I ordered 3 lbs of crawfish, with one of those pounds including broccoli, sausage, corn, and potatoes. When I arrived, I noticed the restaurant was closer to West End Mall. The area didn't bother me, but the musty, old smell inside did. When they handed me my tray of crawfish, I was immediately skeptical. It did not look like 3 lbs, and as someone who has been eating crawfish since birth, I know what 3 lbs should look like. Already hungry and frustrated, I asked for it to be weighed. At first, I was speaking to the male owner, but then a female owner jumped in, immediately getting defensive. She started insisting they don't cheat people. That wasn't the point--I just wanted to confirm the weight. She told the man to remove the shrimp and vegetables, and I agreed. As he did, she kept saying crawfish shrinks when cooked, which made it clear they weigh before cooking. After weighing, the crawfish and juices totaled 2.64 lbs--not 3 lbs. They offered a refund, but I declined and took the food. The crawfish were decent, and I liked the broccoli, but at that point, I was over it. I ate just to avoid wasting money. I won't be back.
