Bland potato salad
Iyoni Y.

The best part of the entire experience was the cashier the young lady with the piercings. The food was mediocre to say the least the hot link was cut up and fried nothing like a crab or seafood boil the potatoes has season thrown on them instead of actually being cooked in the seasoning. I purchased the fried shrimp which were just OK and the potato salad went straight to the trash because it was bland as hell. I also see why they don't have a Google page because people would slam them in the review section.

Whitening platter with fried and fried okra.
Samantha E.

Whitening platter with fried and fried okra. Great price. The food is fresh, the fish is well-seasoned - not too salty, just perfect. No old oil used here. Fried shrimp not pictured. They have only been open for 4 months and they are amazing. It's a nice spot. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. The prices are amazing.

Jamaica Jerk Biz! Three Visits Later, and They Still Haven't Disappointed Me!…read more Listen, when a restaurant gets me to come back not once, not twice, but THREE times, clearly they're doing something right! Let me tell y'all how my little love affair with Jamaica Jerk Biz started. The very first time my husband and I visited, we were actually driving somewhere else and just happened to come across this spot. They had literally just opened, so of course we decided to give them a try. Now, I remember our food being served in to-go containers, even though we were dining in. But listen, they had JUST opened, so we weren't about to make a fuss over some plates! Especially when the food was THAT GOOD! Everything was delicious, and I remember leaving there thinking, okay, we're definitely coming back! Fast-forward to my birthday. Now, when I tell you I wanted some GOOD oxtail, I mean I had my mind set on it! And wouldn't you know it, Jamaica Jerk Biz was the FIRST place that came to mind. That should tell you something right there! And once again, they did not disappoint! Now here we are, visit number THREE! This time, we stopped by on a Sunday for their game watch. And believe it or not, I wasn't even that hungry. I know, shocking, considering I'm usually ready to explore somebody's entire menu! So I decided to keep it simple and ordered two beef patties. Yes, TWO! Don't judge me! And when I tell you those beef patties were FREAKING AMAZING! Listen, I was over there enjoying every single bite! Sometimes you don't need a whole plate of food to know a kitchen knows what it's doing! But here's what I really appreciate about Jamaica Jerk Biz. The consistency! Three separate visits, three different occasions, and I honestly cannot think of one time the food has disappointed me. And let's not forget the service! Every visit has come with friendly faces, service with a smile, and an atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and welcome. Whether you're stopping in for a full Caribbean meal, grabbing something quick, or hanging out to watch the game, it's just a great environment. Being from the Caribbean myself, I definitely appreciate a place where I can enjoy some good Caribbean cuisine without having to wonder whether the food is going to hit the spot. Jamaica Jerk Biz, keep doing what you're doing! You've officially earned yourself a repeat customer, although after three visits, I think we've already established that! And trust me, I'll be back!

I really wanted to like the food , bc as I sat there for a short lunch I over heard two unfortunate complaints about inconsistency with orders, I prayed a little that that was just misunderstandings and that my experience was not the same but to my surprise I get my $18 eggrolls that's suppose to be jerk shrimp but as you can see there's a lot of cabbage and maybe 1-2 shrimp in all six halves combined this sucks bc I didn't have time and I didn't order veggie rolls , note to staff just bc it's slow don't skimp on service, food or time not cool .. Looking forward to your business culture thriving! I'm coming back and hope to have a great experience.

I looked up the reviews on Yelp and on the delivery app I was using and they were mixed on one end and great on the other. I figured it was worth trying out for myself. We decided to be basic af and went with tikka masala, butter chicken and naan. (Please keep your judgement to yourself! lol) The reviews I read on the delivery app pointed out that their food was "oily" and boy, they were right. When our food was delivered I opened the containers and was bummed from the visual. Both dishes were topped with a layer of oil that I drained out. We still went forward with eating because they still smelled great and well, they were paid for lol. My partner really enjoyed the butter chicken while I thought it was a bit chewy, albeit still good. I liked the tikka masala but it was still a bit oily and didn't have any spice to it despite us requesting the 3rd level of spice. The garlic naan was really good but it was one piece of naan sliced in two... for $5. They could have slipped another piece in lol! All in all, I hate that I'm in the minority for this biz at the moment. So many other Yelpers are loving them so it may have just been an 'off' order for me. I'll give them another chance in the future in hopes of having a tastier experience!

We ordered the: Loaded Platter 3 crab clusters, 18 shrimp, sausage, egg, corn and potatoes $59.99 Large Shrimp Platter 15 Shrimp, Sausage, Corn, Egg & Potatoes $22.99 EXtra Krab Cluster, extra lobster tail, extra egg, and extra corn. I'll start with the Cajun x Lemon pepper sauce we had over everything. It was delicious. Like want to lick the plate good. It wasn't too oily, and just buttery enough. All the food was cooked to perfection including the lobster which I find is rare down here in Atlanta. Being from up north I can be bias. The corn, eggs, and sausage were also impeccable. Shrimp were plump and delicious. Just a real sediment place when you're ready to pay a bit for some good seafood. Everyone I talked dog from here asked how it compares to Juicy Crab. And I have to be honest, juicy crab has an amazing sauce that they conjure up but the seafood is t always cooked to perfection. You can tell this place is run by some real seafood cooks. They don't overbook the food and their sauce is superior. Judy crab is a slightly cheaper more chain restaurant appeal. And there's an audience for that. But this place just does good seafood. Highly recommend, snd we've be back twice since!

(I wish I still had the old pictures). It was edible, but the first time was WAY better. It was heavily HEAVILY seasoned to the point of being. My hands were stained red. The shrimp had a nice crunch. The potatoes didn't look great, but the flavor was good. The catfish was bland. One thing we really did not enjoy was the corn. The taste/texture was that of corn that was just sitting in the pot, boiling for hours until someone ordered it. Soggy. I was really excited about the side of fried crab legs and they weren't even in the bag. The attached receipt literally said to double check and still, missing. Additionally, my delivery person said that when she arrived at the restaurant, they said they "lost" the order and she had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be made. But the restaurant is ~5 mins from my apartment and the food arrived cold soooo?? Overall the food was just ok, but not something I'd rush come back for.

Making reservations is really simple via OpenTable. They have Valley parking which cost around eight dollars, but there is also a parking garage where you can pay by the hour. They have a pretty large dining room with an area for more private dining as well and they also have seating at the oyster bar. This is my fourth visit and each visit the food has been really good. For our appetizers we got my favorite the shrimp à la Plancha, but I did notice that the bread that comes with the dish has gotten significantly smaller. For dinner we had the fingerling potatoes, which I was not a fan of. They were pretty hard. I got the red fish for my entrée and we got the collard greens for our vegetable and the greens tasted amazing. My friend ordered the She Crab Soup and Fried Oysters and said they were both delicious. I missed out on the Peach cake (out of season) but they had Apple and I liked it.

At our table, we had the spicy kale salad, fried oysters she crab soup, and blackened red fish. All of these dishes were expertly prepare prepared... but that black and red fish was a thing of beauty oh my gosh! Ridiculously delicious. If you're having trouble making up your mind, listen to me right now get the freaking blackened red fish, OK?! I almost forgot we also had dessert. Everyone except for me really loved that apple pudding cake. I thought it was just kind of a mess. But ohhhh, the Keylime pie!! A work of art! So very good.

They are located towards the front area of West village. They are across from Starbucks - just in case you need a reference point. Parking can become problematic because of the amount of businesses and residences in the area. However, if you are unable to find a parking spot nearby, West Village does have a parking garage . I arrived at this restaurant around 7pm on a Saturday. There were a decent abound of patrons, but my party of two was seated immediately upon entering. We opted to dine outside since it was such a nice evening. The wait staff was attentive and friendly throughout the night. I also noticed that the staff works as a team, which I love to see. The menu at this spot is massive. There should be something for everyone at this spot. I opted to try the shrimp nachos with a side of sautéed spinach. My friend ordered the linguine Alfredo dish and added shrimp. The food came out quickly, but appeared to be warm. I enjoyed my nachos and the spinach. The spinach was a little salty, but I was able to finish them. I tried my friend's pasta, which was also tasty. Overall I say this spot is solid. Service is outstanding, and the food is decent. If in the area and seeking seafood it's worth checking out !
