I ordered from Turkey Time on a Sunday afternoon, and unfortunately they were already out of about half the menu with only two sides available. I ordered what I could: turkey tips, turkey chops, green beans, and potato salad. The green beans were extremely salty and honestly inedible for me. The potato salad wasn't too bad, but my partner didn't care for it much. On a positive note, the turkey tips were pretty solid and flavorful, while the turkey chops were just average. Well seasoned, tender and always fresh. The baked beans and potato salad are also very very good. let me start by saying I have been craving turkey tips for the whole week. They are only at the Camp Creek location on the weekends. I pulled up around 4 o'clock and waited over an hour to get my food. In previous visits, I have had nothing but excellent experiences with the quality and consistency of the food and the friendliness of the staff. My turkey tips didn't even taste like they had made it to the grill. My yams had no flavor whatsoever. The only food item that was consistent to previous experiences were the greens. Had my 1st taste of this well known food truck that I follow on Tik Tok. I gotta give to um...I ordered Cajun style fried wings that came with 2 sides and a order of Eggrolls. Wings were fresh, seasoned well an nice in size. Service was great even tho I had to wait 30min, which they apologized for several times. It was my first time trying this food truck. I was excited but that was short lived. I ordered turkey chops smothered and even though the gravy was made from scratch, it had no seasoning. The fried cabbage was not fried. It was soupy. The macaroni tasted old. It seemed as if someone tried to add salt to it to cover that up. So it tasted salty and old. The other order of fried turkey chops were fried but very little to no seasoning. The smothered potatoes were not home made. They were fries and nothing smothered about them. I am picky and I will let you know when service and food is horrible, but I've been to this food truck a number of times and never experienced bad, dry, tasteless or anything like that with the food. The only thing I will say is 1 time the music was blaring to where you had to scream to place your order. Not sure what that was about, but that's my only complaint.
