We really enjoyed our visit to Haleakala Skyline. There were four of us and the only ones signed up for our time slot, so we got somewhat of a VIP treatment. Ray and Noah were our guides. Both were great and provided an awesome experience. They provided us a lot of information and knowledge about the local ecosystem and wildlife, and also provided some local insights on food and Hawaiian culture. Hands down AMAZING! My husband and I stayed in Napili and we knew we wanted to see the sunrise, but that drive. So we decided to go with this tour and it was worth every penny. Keith was our driver/guide and he knows this road like the back of his hand. He got us there with two hours until sunrise and we got killer spots. When the sun rose, we got our amazing pictures and videos. Got back on the bus, headed down the volcano, to get breakfast which was included in the price at Kula Lodge. Great options and quick service. Got back on the bus and headed back to the hotel. 1am wake up call. 2am pick up. 2 hr drive. 6:17 sunrise. Back at the hotel by 10:30. Totally worth it! read more

The "what not to do" instructions were the highlight of our 3:30p tour, on the way to see the Haleakala sunset, besides the backwards trust fall and hammock pose! I did the 8-line tour with a group of 10. I was only expecting an exhilarating experience ziplining with the beautiful view, but walked away with way more than that! Our guides Lindy, Shannon, and Jacob made the whole experience unforgettable! Not only were they total pros at their job giving us local recommendations, educating us about the history of the land, and most importantly keeping us safe, they were absolutely hilarious! Their playful personalities and comical banter with each other and with our group made the time we were up there super fun. We shared a lot of laughs and had such an amazing time up there with everyone. They even helped us take beautiful pictures when we were up at the top. Definitely book this tour! Did a Kaanapali 8 track Zipline adventure in the afternoon with Jacob and Caleb. They made sure everyone had a great time. They kept up easy banter and joked so that were were all laughing. The ride up to the first track was totally awesome, it was like 4 wheeling for a few minutes. The views obvious did not disappoint. The guides definitely knew what they were doing and even demonstrated their skill on the lines and jumping and doing all sorts of tricks. Jacob even rescued me when I was not coming in all the way to the next line. Great experience, you will have a great time with these two. read more
