I love Skyline. The staff is so knowledgeable and professional about safety. I've visited Skyline zipline multiple times and will always support them when I can. They provide excellent service and their moto "do good, have fun" has been engraved in my mind. Their conservation efforts are inspiring. They care about the aina and respect it.

    Zipline Fun!

Amazing experience with Zack and Caleb at Zipline Hawaii! Zack and Caleb were absolutely wonderful, funny, upbeat, and full of great energy that made the whole adventure so much fun. At the same time, they were very professional, making sure everyone felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the experience. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. It was the perfect mix of laughter, excitement, and safety. Highly recommend this zipline tour and especially these two guides!

Ray and Lindy are amazing tour guides ! We had so much fun with them. I'm terrified of heights and they really helped calm the nerves . The zip lines are thrilling and so safe. The guides were truly passionate about what they do in their conservation efforts . Not only do they run the zipline tours but when they aren't doing that , they are out on the grounds maintaining and beautifying the area. The tour was informative and we all laughed a lot! I highly recommend this tour to visitors and locals alike ! Skyline is AWESOME!!

Trevor was fantastic- it was an early morning but so worth it! So glad they offered coats, we were not prepared for the cold weather at that elevation. Highly recommend! We also loved the quick breakfast at the Plantation House.

We booked a tour for a family of four. Our guides were Ray and Vince and they were awesome. Very good with the knowledge or our trees and birds educating people who hasn't grown up here fortunately I have and so good to hear that this is being done! Thanks guys!

When: Sat. May 28th, Party of 2 Adults. Driver/Guide: Bill Tour: Classic Haleakala Sunrise Tour As a former Kamaaina or Hawaii resident, my wife and I have visited Haleakala many times. We decided on taking this tour because we did not want to drive up and down Haleakala. It was a great choice that we made. Bill explained and taught us facts that as 50+ years Hawaii Residents we weren't aware of. Bill was humorous and had a genuine heart for the land and ecology. When he took us to the top, he brought us to a spot that shielded us from the winds while we waited 45 minutes for the Sunrise...Absolutely wonderful... Without hesitation, my wife and I highly recommend this Sunrise tour from Skyline. Great for 1st time visitors or Kamaaina's...

Our guides were the best. They knew what they were doing the entire time and really made this zipline so enjoyable. If you are ever in Maui don't miss booking this fun afternoon (or morning) activity. I thought the price was worth it, in fact it was a great value. You want to make sure Val is one of your guides, and Alec too. They will take good care of you Kevin --. Review written July 2 2024

Ian and Lindy were great! Very knowledgeable and made the experience a lot of fun for my boyfriend and I. We will be back! Thank you! Kellie and Garrett

The staff and our crew at the end of our terrific tour!!

Wow! Our crew had an incredibly fun time with Po, Ray, Joe and new to the staff Jackson!! I was terrified to zip-lining but the staff's expertise, patience and encouragement helped me have a wonderful experience! We saw and learned about the beauty and importance of creation while building memories whizzing down the lines! We will be back for more fun!!

The best part of the zip line besides the adrenaline spiking lines 4 and 5 was the guide with the jokes. The jokes kept coming and you'd better be able to keep up and banter back. The "what not to do" instructions were the highlight of our 3:30p tour, on the way to see the Haleakala sunset, besides the backwards trust fall and hammock pose! The plan discussed is for the video to go viral for Skyline and split the proceeds with the guide featured in the video! Be sure to checkout skyline and get a zelfie with the guide in the video ;) Guides, Thank you for being so amazing and for sharing your stories with us!

Jason continually cracked me up, but in addition to providing laughter and levity, he offered great tips and insights on things to do during your zip. Our whole group (four of us) kind of had a team bond along with our two leaders and their apprentice (Simon) which I enjoyed immensely. Both leaders also provided commentary on jungle fauna and flora, especially edibles. My favorite tasting was the red ginger and the humble banana that was incredibly sweet. Zipping was an item on my bucket list but now it's more than just an item to cross off, I want to do it again soon. Thank you guys for a wonderful escapade!

We had visited before in 2012 during lavender season, which was lovely, but coming in mid-January there really wasn't much to see. Admission is $5 per person, and there's a café and gift shop on-site for souvenirs. During our previous visit, we really enjoyed the lavender scone and iced tea from the café. The views at the top are still beautiful, but I'd honestly recommend visiting only when lavender is in season to make it worthwhile. Also worth noting: it's quite windy in this part of Maui, and the terrain is very steep, so walking around can be a bit challenging.

We have taken three of their "Morning Walks" with our grandkids and it's a perfect introduction to hiking. Honestly we've had three different ...wonderful.. experiences. It's not strenuous and you're taken back to some private land that you'd not have access to if you just drove up and parked (if you found a parking spot) and hiked back in. We were lucky to have the lovely, fun, and knowledgeable guide named Randolyn ..aka Ran. She was the perfect blend of kind, patient and engaging with the grandkids, and very helpful with us old folks! On the drive on the way home she advised a few newbies to the island where some great places to eat were... they greatly appreciated her ideas! She had the most pleasant demeanor.... :) If you want a fun morning walk, call Hike Maui

Brian was just soo fun, and soo informative. He balanced all our interests absolutely wonderfully, it was just amazing. The kid was thrilled with the his dino costume (Oh my god! the costume, he wore it on the Entire trip except when jumping off the rocks ofcourse), the adult in the other group with all the geological tectonics knowledge that flowed like an uninterrupted volcano from his mouth...non stop, and me with all the native plant life info. The Hala tree amazed me and so did the big red flower- torch ginger, which actually looks like a vibrant staff fit for a king. I would never have learnt about them in detail if not for this trip. All this besides the actual trip to the waterfalls, the encouragement he gave to the other group was astounding (I don't swim myself unfortunately, or the fun would have tripled for me). He supported, guided, advised, and made them have the time of their life with the diving and the swimming. Three cheers to the B.Rex. Hike Maui site itself had useful info for the walk and I brought the water shoes after reading about it on their site, it really worked great out there. Pick up was right on time and the directions were pretty clear, but u could have mentioned near Kahului Park and Ride, I mistook the 8 min drive for 8 min walk, and walked up from my hotel ! Hike Maui arranged for backpacks and that was very useful too. To just it throw it on our shoulders and walk freely. The little snacks were good after the walk. The best part was the passion fruit which was handed out as a parting gift. It was my first time to eat that fruit too. Note: The waterfalls are accessible privately with rental car too. You could explore the area in your own sweet time. But I did notice there were not many signs with specific directions inside the forest. And no labels on the plants. Most places no mobile signals either. That said, you could do it on your own. I cannot say enough about this trip. It is for all ages and a great little Maui to explore comfortably. PS: Hope Brian wins the Halloween costume contest today ( 31st Oct 2025)

The shop had a nice assortment of other gifts, as well as the truffles. The truffles were definitely my favorite. You can just get one if you want, or you can pick out several to make a box to take home. We walked around and saw the area where the babies/young goats played on the surfboards, which is super cute. The adults are all over in different areas, and you will even see them on the roofs of different buildings. The tour would have been nice to learn some history and information, but it is still really nice to go without the tour. It was a fun and peaceful little experience.
