The ride to the crater was very smooth and they were both very friendly. Mikey made sure to explain everything to us so that there would be no confusion or incidents. And they were both kind enough to surprise us with a dolphin pod visit! On our way back, Mikey stopped our raft and surprised us with the presence of a superpod (a very large pod of dolphins)! Getting to watch dolphins are not always guaranteed, but I'm glad that Mikey and Angela took a chance for us to have the opportunity to see them. Both of our guides made sure that everyone was safe and most importantly, enjoyed our experience at Molokini Crater with them! Thank you Mikey and Angela!

Because of that, I really hesitated about going on the second tour - but I am so glad I did! The 5-hour tour with Maui Snorkel Charters was incredible! It was organized so efficiently by two wonderful women, Captain Jen and Sophia. While the four stops that we made were all magical, the visit to Turtle Town was my favorite by far. Being able to see the majestic turtles swim by was breathtaking and something that I will never forget. And what Maui Snorkel Charters does that is truly above and beyond is that they took photos of our adventures and shares them with us at no extra charge. As the photographer, Sophia truly captured amazing images of us while we were underwater with the fish and turtles (something that we probably could not have done as well ourselves, even if we had rented a GoPro). We came during whale season, so as a plus we saw a few , several times on the way to the two snorkel locations and back. First spot was turtle town. . Beautiful, we saw around 8 or so . They were not afraid of humans, in fact maybe they were intrigued. Color fish of course. Next went to the Molokai Crater. Waters were a little rough in comparison to turtle town. Extremely colorful fish, reef area was amazing. Best snorkeling experience compared to O'hau , Kauai, and St Lucia . We felt safe the entire time, makes sense since Matt declared he usually takes everyone back .(a joke). Worth the expense, and was happy to tip. Lucia said that people can come to snorkel at turtle town from the beach. (Behind turtle town are 4-8million condos ). Evidently the beach isn't private , so you could come back on your own. I've been a loyal customer since 2012 and have always had positive experiences, but this particular tour was deeply troubling. When I visit Maui and book kayak snorkling excursions, I only book it with this company. Willy's Disrespectful Behavior: The tour began smoothly, but things quickly went awry when my husband started feeling motion sickness. He informed Willy that he wasn't feeling well and decided to return to shore. Willy asked if he was going to tow us back, referring to me and my daughter. My husband said "no..they can stay". After my husband left, Willy began mocking him with exaggerated voices, laughing at his discomfort with one of the guests. This made both my daughter and me feel very uncomfortable. Willy's Unusual Behavior: As the other guests moved on to the next snorkeling location, Willy became increasingly erratic. He threw his anchor into his kayak with unnecessary force and started letting out this loud, uncontrollable, exaggerated laugh. My daughter and I were left alone with Willy, and his behavior started to feel unsafe. Willy took my daughter's paddle away and started towing us without any request from me, and shortly after we started paddling toward the new snorkeling location, he unexpectedly turned the entire group around. He then complained that he had to turn the group around because of the extra effort of towing us. I told him it wasn't necessary to tow us, we can manage ourselves. I noticed we were heading back to the meet-up spot on shore and asked if he was taking us back. He confirmed that he was. At that point, it was clear that he no longer wanted us on his tour, and frankly, we felt unsafe, so I was okay with ending the tour early. Despite my repeated requests to paddle back on our own, Willy insisted on towing us, exaggerating his grunting noises as if the effort was overwhelming. I told him he didn't have to leave the other people and we can find our way back and I pointed at the building on shore to make sure that's where I should go. He claimed it would be impossible for me to paddle both of us back alone and blamed my daughter repeatedly, saying, "WE ARE IN A SITUATION...WE ARE IN A SITUATION!... BECAUSE OF YOUR DAUGHTER. SHE LOST HER PADDLE!" I explained that my daughter hadn't lost her paddle--he had taken it from her--and assured him that we could manage on our own if he simply returned it. Nevertheless, Willy continued towing us, making disturbing noises the entire way back. As we paddled back, I asked for his name. He turned around, smirked, and rudely responded with, "I don't recall," then ignored me when I asked again. His behavior was bizarre, unprofessional, and deeply unsettling. Willy's Lack of Care for Other Guests: When we returned to shore, I asked Willy for his name again in front of my husband, and he reluctantly provided it. I had to ask him 4 times before he told me! I asked why he had treated us so poorly and ended our tour early and he sarcastically said twice, "You should be out there with your man!" It was clear that my husband's early departure had upset him, and he was taking his frustration out on us. Willy was in such a hurry to leave that he quickly unlocked the shed for us to retrieve our belongings and told us to lock it up while walking away. And he left the keys to the shed with us! We locked it and left the key in the lock. He seemed more concerned with getting away from us than ensuring the safety of the remaining guests. From a distance, I saw that he had left the other three guests stranded in the middle of the sea. Voicing Concerns and Seeking Resolution: Recognizing the need to address the situation, I approached a staff member about filing a formal complaint. Tiara, a staff member in a golf cart, overheard and immediately approached with genuine concern. She quickly contacted Kayak Supervisor Tim, who came out to speak with me directly. Despite my frustration, both Tiara and Tim listened attentively and with respect. Tiara went above and beyond to resolve the issue, offering a refund as a fair solution. She explained that it was only right to refund customers who didn't receive the service they had paid for. Her professionalism, thoughtful response, and commitment to customer satisfaction were deeply appreciated. Tiara assured me that the situation would be taken seriously and addressed accordingly. Conclusion: My experience was disappointing and infuriating due to Willy's behavior, which was so absurd it felt like a scene from a movie. I've never been treated like this, and it was frustrating beyond words. I urge the company to take this seriously, as allowing bad behavior to continue will harm their reputation. I've seen another negative review specifically naming Willy, and I hope the company addresses it before it leads to further damage.

They seemed to have everything we wanted to honor my Mom. After speaking with Charlie I knew this was the right company. We got everything setup and he was able to refer me to a videographer which was awesome. We got the date set and also a backup should the weather be bad. The day came and we went to where he had sent us a pin. We got there a they were preparing the outrigger canoe. We went through safety stuff and how we were going to paddle out. We then met Vicente the Hawaiian spiritual leader of our journey to honor my Mom. We had a beautiful ceremony on the beach to start the ceremony. We then go get the outrigger off the shore which was cool. We then paddled out and had another beautiful ceremony on the water where we spread her ashes. We then paddled back and it was incredible. It was a perfect way to honor my Mom. I can never say enough nice things about Charlie and Vicente. They were incredible. If you are looking for an incredible paddle out journey to honor your loved ones. I cannot thank them enough for all they did. It was a great experience and would recommended Blue Soul Maui. Our group of four booked a 2.5 hour Turtle Town kayak and snorkeling tour with Kelli's Kayak and…read morehad the best time. Thank you so much to our tour guide, Tyler, for the awesome experience! The company sends a text message with information the night prior to the tour with information on where to meet (Makena Landing Beach Tour). The check-in time for us was at 7:00 AM and the tour starts around 7:30 AM. All equipment needed was provided (snorkeling set, wet bag, kayak, and life jackets). There were five other people on our tour, which made the tour even more fun :) Tyler gave us all of the proper instructions and tips for kayaking and snorkeling. We've kayaked before but it was both my boyfriend and my first time snorkeling and he made us feel really comfortable and confident in trying something new. The snorkeling experience was amazing and we had the chance of appreciate the beautiful coral reefs, aquatic life (including tunas jumping out of the water), green sea turtles, and surrounding mountains. Tyler was also really knowledgeable about things to see on the island and had a lot of interesting fun facts. Our friends also agreed that the tour was worth it and overall had a really great time. I'd highly recommend booking a tour during a Maui trip!

A short walk to the harbor and we were on the boat. The Captain, don't remember her name, was very informative and ensured safety protocols were understood by everyone. The boat was clean and accommodating for our group of 10. The sail was beautiful and mesmerizing. The Captain took time to give instructions on how to sail the boat to the children onboard. She also aloud them to have turns at the helm. Very exciting work for the kids. There were good options for beverages and appetizers. The musical playlist was pretty good and set the tone for the island vibes. We felt that we were in more than capable hands. Next time we come back, we'll look for this tour line and crew.
