Zip-lining
Allison M.

Amazing experience! Took my 5 year old daughter for the first time and the staff Kai and Jackson were amazing with her! Angelo was great. We got lost and were late and the group and staff waited for us! The staff were so much fun! Could not recommend more. Nice breeze and beautiful views!

This was my second or third time zip lining so I was prepared for the experience. I like the history behind the area, which is that it used to be a WWII marines base. The entire crew were super super friendly and made sure to keep everyone engaged, even while sitting and waiting for our turns to go. The ziplining itself was just so so though honestly. It's perhaps due to the fact that I've been a little spoiled from my past experiences, which involved being hundreds of feet above the ground. It was not bad or anything, and I of course still had fun, the zip lines just weren't very high or particularly long. One thing I really liked though is that from start to finish, everyone is actually hooked up to a safety line making it impossible to fall off any of the platforms.

This was a fantastic adventure. Beautiful views. Not to scary for those in our group who don't like heights and exciting enough for those that are comfortable with them. Our guides Kai and Jack were great.

Booking this activity online was very easy! You have to arrive 30 mins prior to your reservation to get the run down on safety and get strapped in. We've never zip lined before and so glad we got to do this as a family! My son is 7 years old and he was able to participate! The instructors, Dallas and Pace (I think that's what their names were) were amazing! They helped everyone along with our C-cord clip thing. They explained everything thoroughly and kept us safe! We did 7-lines and it was just enough. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend this place!!!

Here we are living on Maui and have never experienced this type of activity before. My hubby, myself and daughter had the best time and the staff was helpful and super friendly...I was scared for the first 3 rides and then I was kicking back. The only thing I would change is...I would wear longer shorts or leggings, jeans only because of the harness that wraps around your thighs was making my shorts creep up. The helmets we wore had a holder for your GoPro but not sure if all of them do. There are no restrooms along the 7 rides, so I recommend peeing right before you get harnessed up. Pictures are taken during your last run and then you can take a family/group picture once your whole group is done. We purchased the whole album (link sent by text/email) because it was a better deal rather than getting individual photos. I would definitely recommend NorthShore Zipline to our friends and family.

Oh, what a view !!! This is not for the faint of heart or anyone afraid of heights. Obviously, the views afforded during your descent are beyond wild & beautiful. The equipment looked well maintained & the staff doesn't rush you. If you make it to the Northshore of Maui, the zipline is a locally owned business worthy of your consideration.

This place was really fun!! It's family friendly and our guides were so nice and fun. I would recommend if you have kids and/or it's your first time zip lining!! Shout out to Corey and Zoey!!

Our family loved this experience and felt like this was a great choice for our family . Our 9 and 6 year old son had a blast with their dad while my youngest (3 year old) and I followed along a few of the zip lines and then enjoyed the beautiful property. I'm also glad it brought us out to this part of the island to explore otherwise we would have missed out. They had corn hole close to the entrance and a few water guns at the last zip line we were able to follow along to. The restrooms were also clean and maintained well. The military museum added charm and our guides Ocean and Sammy were great! The lady at the front desk was also extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to see around this part of the

We had the most amazing experience with Corey and Kevin! I came with four teenage girls ... some of the girls were nervous, some were not. But Corey and Kevin put them all at ease, made them laugh and created the most magical memories. This is a must do for families!

Matt and I just got hooked up.

Jason continually cracked me up, but in addition to providing laughter and levity, he offered great tips and insights on things to do during your zip. Our whole group (four of us) kind of had a team bond along with our two leaders and their apprentice (Simon) which I enjoyed immensely. Both leaders also provided commentary on jungle fauna and flora, especially edibles. My favorite tasting was the red ginger and the humble banana that was incredibly sweet. Zipping was an item on my bucket list but now it's more than just an item to cross off, I want to do it again soon. Thank you guys for a wonderful escapade!

Not only did we get to ride in comfort with all our stuff, but we also customized every stop. We could easily say "yes" or "no" to any stop on the Road to Hana. Our tour guide Chris was excellent, informative, and fun to hang out with for the entire day. Chris had great recommendations for us and the food stops were amazing and delicious and tailored to what we were feeling or not feeling. We had a general idea of the stops we wanted to hit based on our research, but Chris went above and beyond to show us unique stops and views and scenic views. We made great memories and got to experience the road to Hana in a way that far exceeded our expectations. All though it was not the most affordable way to experience the road to Hana, we still felt it was worth the cost. It will be a great memory for us for years to come. I can now say I swam in a waterfall....a very cold one, but definitely worth it. Chris knows these roads and all the stops you might want to see, and he customized it to our level of adventure, including hikes and swims along the way. You can definitely find cheaper alternatives, but I would suggest speaking with Awapuhi Adventures to see if they can meet your needs. The pros of going private is that you are in the drivers seat (figuratively) for where and when to stop, and can skip anything that seems generic or not to your liking. The con is that it will cost some $$$. In our experience, it was worth it! Thanks again, Chris!

Maui Easy Riders was a SUPERB choice!! Booking with the owner Billy was great as he prepared me for our adventure over the phone. The morning of the excursion, we met our guides, Charlotte and Jon, who proved to be an absolute hoot! They alieved any anxiety and brought some great history lessons as we trekked up the mountain. My wife and I were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary and the last time we were in Hawaii was for our honeymoon, 38 years prior. Charlotte and Jon made us feel special. Unlike many other companies, Maui Easy Riders only allows 6 people per session, so it was easy to get to know your fellow travelers and we became close friends in a very short time. They have a specially built cruiser bike that has a huge, extremely comfortable seat and and massive disc brakes for both wide tires. The ride is exceptional and you feel very much in control. There is no "push" for you to speed down the mountain, and until everyone was comfortable with their "sled", the downhill journey was held at your own pace. The van follows you down the mountain and runs interference for cars that might be coming up to pressure you. No worries or anxiety here. If you need anything at all, they came prepared to assist you: Rain gear, pants, windbreakers, snacks, water and Gatorade. At any time, you could have access to the stuff you might of brought in the van. We made several stops to take pictures and view the landscape and learn of areas to be aware of as they might be coming up. Charlotte was a great leader, guiding us with hand motions and instructions for our safety. She and Jon communicated with walkie-talkies to navigate the traffic and the care of the riders. We all shared some great stories as we learned all about the route and history of Maui. I can't recommend Maui Easy Riders enough. Their care and concern for your safety and adventurous spirit made our trip extremely enjoyable. The 6 of us riders enjoyed the journey so much, we all had lunch together, laughing and sharing more antics from the excursion. Don't pass up YOUR experience!! Billy took the time to ensure the helmet and bikes were a good match for our head size and body height. After going over the safety rules, Billy led the group with his own bike while the helper drove the van in the back blocking passing cars to create a safe ride for us. The ride itself was amazing. It was about a 25 mile bike ride ( ~2 hours), but it was really casual and smooth. It was mostly downhill so majority of the time was spent being in awe with the surrounding environment. We passed by ranches, farms, towns, and residential areas. You go at your own pace, so there's no pressure to go with the group. If you're desiring a fast and challenging ride, then you move up in the line. And if you're casual and want to take it slow, you can stay in the back. The van will always be in the back blocking cars, so you're safe. Just enjoy. We also made frequent breaks to rest and take photos. We took couple photos at scenic places and even took a photo with a chameleon. To summarize, this was one of the best way to experience this area of Maui. Highly, highly recommend Maui Easy Riders
