Stopped by kiosk location at Whalers Village to book a whale and helicopter trip. I was looking at the information at the kiosk while employee was helping another customer. I'm was immediately startled by the employee screaming and berating me saying that I could not look at the pamphlets and that they are for customers only! I was totally shocked as I went to this kiosk to book some excursions. This behavior was shocking and disgusting. Hopefully employee deals with their anger management issues. Mind you i specifically asked if it would automatically charge or if we would have to call! Then Jada was so rude about it (see attachments below). They took good care of us after our trip when we had questions. The scuba and snuba were amazing and crew very kind and helpful.

Honestly had a pretty unfortunate experience with this company, I was wanting to support a locally owned business which is why I purchased tickets through this company. Unfortunately they had an employee who was taking money from customers and keeping it for himself. So this happened to me, they stated " they were having issues accepting payments due to changes in their system " and had me PayPal the so called manager, who had a username including the company name. I received the vouchers. Well, this experience took a turn when one of my excursions for $240 was cancelled due to weather in which I quickly reached out to the " manager " and emailed the company in hopes to get reimbursed because obviously, I did not get to do the excursion I purchased. I reached out in multiple emails for about 2 months with no answer, they just said " we will get a manager involved " but no one ever reached out to me. I finally called them ( about 2 months later ) and they pretty much said " unfortunately that employee is no longer working for the company and we can't reimburse you because we don't have your money ." Long story short, they took forever to get me any sort of answer as to what happened to my money and then pretty much told me tough luck on getting my money back. For your own safety I genuinely think you should directly purchase from the companies you want to do the excursion with. I'm not sure if they are still having internal issues with their employees... good luck and stay safe! read more

Rustic starting location with lots of different animals hanging around. Staff was on point getting us set up and out for our ride. The ATVs ran perfectly and they moved people around in order that more advanced riders could go a bit faster while those less experienced could go at a safe, comfortable pace as well. Review for the Uluniu location in Waikiki only. Pretty obvious silly goose attendants at this one, and would probably admit to as much if questioned directly. Trying very hard to give chill bro vibes but clearly silly gooses under everything. They will offer you $120 dollar (for 2) tickets to a luau and other touristy stuff. You must attend a scammy bullshit timeshare presentation to receive the discount otherwise you risk your touristy events being cancelled or charged full price. Go to said scammy bullshit timeshare presentation and be very clear the answer is no and you aren't buying anything. Deny every offer they present. Still decline and leave. Then enjoy your touristy stuff at a discount. Just to be clear, silly gooses present, even if presenting as chill bros. I believe their names are Brody and Chaz. Silliest gooses I've seen. If you want a five star experience without paying hundreds of dollars to whale watch etc. this is your place. I couldn't get anything under $300.00 for two people to whale watch. Yes, it was a holiday weekend, but after calling Maui Tickets for Less they scored me and my traveling companion tickets for under $100.00 bucks Jett is awesome and we had the best time. Finally made a commitment to go to Hawaii/Maui and realized I had no idea what we were going to do. I happen to call the condo we were staying at and she suggested this company. Nick was so helpful and wonderful, he helped get everything planned, he knew where we were staying so we didn't really have long drives to go anywhere, our luau, Sunset Dinner's were nearby. We also planned a sunrise adventure at the top of the volcano. I thought I wanted to ride a bicycle down, he did that for us and the next day I realize we didn't need to be riding and change our plans, no problems. I'm so thankful we did change. We also had a great trip to Pearl Harbor. He just put everything in place we were a family of four of adults and all of us were so happy and impressed, Maui is a beautiful place to be, a paradise a dream come true. read more

My tour on 8/25/24 was cancelled due to weather. #1 David told me on 8/26 that he would process the refund. #2 He later called and asked if I can stop by the Kiosk at Kihei where I bought the tour, stating it would be easier (for him), to which I agreed - but there was some sort of internet problem or something with his system that didn't process the refund. But David told me it would get processed within a week. #3 After a week, no refund hit my credit card, I called him up he said he'll have "his guy" process the refund. #4 Another week or 2 later, another guy answers and said he'll have the owner or manager process the refund in about a week. It is now 9/26/24 and I still have no refund. Scam? I just gave them a call, left a voicemail. Hopefully attempt # 5 works out. read more

Do not book with this service! I purchased tickets for a snorkel trip over a month in advance. When I showed up to get on the boat it was nowhere to be found. After calling the vendor, I was notified that the boat was cancelled and no notice was given to me. This responsibility falls on Tickets for Less as they are the third party service I used to book this trip. After emailing with their reservation department, they did not apologize for their mistake and tried to blame the vendor. It's just bad business. My advice- book directly through the vendor. This is an unreliable source to book anything. Update- the owner of this company is claiming he attempted to reach me several times to let me know my trip was cancelled and that is FALSE. I have no missed calls or emails in between when my tickets were purchased and when the boat was supposed to go out. He has only attempted to contact me after I posted this review. Even when I spoke to someone on the phone from tickets for less the day my trip was cancelled, I was told they made no attempt to contact me. Again- DO NOT BOOK WITH TICKETS FOR LESS. I'm hoping this review will be useful for tourists in the Lahaina area who aren't quite sure if they can trust Tickets for Less. We were visiting Maui and wanted to see the 'Ulalena show, but didn't really want to spend $60/person. While walking to our car near Front Street, we saw a Tickets for Less booth and asked how much their 'Ulalena tickets were. Basically, this is how it works: -You get tickets almost for free (we paid $1 for two 'Ulalena adult tickets) -Tickets for Less charges you $1 -Tickets for Less also runs a pending charge for the full cost of 2 'Ulalena tickets (about $140) -If you attend a 2 hour sales presentation at Worldwide Travel Experts (located less than 10 minutes from the booth), the pending charge is cancelled The salesperson at Tickets for Less did not explain all of this up front. He was a little sneaky and said we only need to visit a website in order to get the discounted rates. Of course, we should have known there was something else to it. After he ran our credit card, he then added that we need to attend a sales presentation. If you're in Maui and don't mind spending 2 hours at the presentation in exchange for tickets (you can get tickets for shows, luaus, sunset cruises, etc.), it's not a bad deal. It's just helpful to know what you are signing up for. Keep in mind you do have to meet certain age, marriage, and income requirements to be eligible. read more

We arrived to our snorkeling boat and our whole family was embarrassed as we weren't permitted to get on the boat because our reservation was not properly reserved. They first all sell you a whole story of how there are no tickets and how they are moving some reservations etc. Second, they add some 30-40$ to the cost and then give you a discount- which lands you at the same price as what is being offered by all the sites. Third, we repeatedly asked for vegetarian food - and was told it is available. But the person who did thr booking never conveyed it to the cruise team. In the end we did not have dinner despite paying $120 per person! Stay away. read more

We were contacted by phone after we had made reservation for a whale watching experience. I agreed to the price I was guilted for an additional experience at a Luau and dinner cruise. When I checked my bank account the next morning the amount charged to my card was almost 3 times what I was quoted. I had to cancel my card and request all charges be reversed. read more

Our tour guy was Cammy. He was very informative, personable and maybe even talked a bit too much if you ask me. He offered to take pics and advised us of photo opportunities. The tour is long so be prepared for a 10-12hr drive. The road on the way back is bumpy! The reason for 3 stars is bc in the morning, when we stopped at Safeway, I had $85. I had no reason to go for my wallet bc my mom paid for everything. I check my wallet and I have $45. Only place I left my bag was on the tour bus where I was advised it'll be safe. Not placing the blame on anyone nor calling anyone a thief but only place my bag was left was on the bus and all other guests were out sight seeing with me. So money grows feet and starts walking now?! I guess I should have known better! read more

It was my 30th birthday and thats really all I wanted to do on my trip. Kelly got us hooked up for a snorkeling trip for 2 with mad discounts. We almost paid full price online for this trip but Kelly saw us looking around a ticket booth and started talking to us. He explained the different snorkeling options around Maui and recommended the Quicksilver Lanai tour which was excellent (please see my review for this) Yes, to get the deal you have to sit through a timeshare presentation at a resort which was pretty painless. We are not the timeshare demographic (cough millennials cough) so there was really no pressure for us to buy. We walked away without spending a dime and even spent the afternoon at the pool of the resort. Anyway, just being clear with the expectation, I didn't think spending 2-3 hours of my afternoon to save $200-300 was a bad idea so we ended up doing it. The trip was worthwhile and most importantly, Kelly was upfront and honest about the process and helpful throughout the ticket booking part. I would highly recommend seeking out Kelly if you are looking to book some excursions, great way to save some money, just don't say yes at the presentation if you know what I mean. read more

Pros: * We purchased 5.5 hr Snorkeling Boat Tour (Blue Water Rafting) and 45-min West Maui & Molokai Helicopter Ride (Air Mau) for $510 for 2 people. Without the discounts we would have paid $700+. * I liked that our agent Kevin was friendly and straightforward with their sales strategies. He immediately told me that we had to attend a 2-hr timeshare presentation in order to get the biggest savings. When I talked to another fellow at the kiosk, he kept BSing about how they have the best connections and contacts....stop, just be honest please. Kevin took care of me over the phone for a discounted Jungle zip line package for a family of 4. This was set a day before the tour. He did mention a presentation for a vacation package (timeshare) for additional discount since this is my first time working with this company. Transaction went through without an issue and i got the verification over the email within 5 minutes. Checked with the zipline location the next day and they got all of my information and reservation for the time slot that i reserved. Pretty legitimate for me here. Worked well for me and made the trip pretty simple. There a savings of 20% + vs booking this online directly with Jungle Zip Iine. Overall, pretty happy with this transaction.
