I had an extremely frustrating experience with this business replacing my car's side mirror. I paid…read more$725 across three separate payments for the correct mirror and related installation. Two incorrect mirrors were obtained, which the owner acknowledged in writing, stating that his vendor had sold him "2 wrong mirrors." After the first incorrect mirror, I made additional payments because I was repeatedly assured the correct mirror would be obtained. I even specifically asked for confirmation that the replacement was the correct one and was told yes. Ultimately, I never received the correct mirror I paid for. After months of trying to resolve this, I requested a refund. Instead, I was offered partial refunds that required me either to keep a mirror missing an option I specifically paid for, or have my original broken mirror reinstalled while being charged for labor. I even offered to accept $625 instead of the full $725 just to resolve the matter. That offer was rejected, and I was told, "See you in Court." I have retained the payment records and written correspondence documenting everything. As a customer, I paid what I was asked to pay and expected the correct part to be provided. After $725, two incorrect mirrors, additional payments, and months of back-and-forth, I still did not receive what I paid for. I'm sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision.

We…read moreweren't too concerned about the work since it was basically replacing a plastic bumper trim that's not rocket science. We went to a place closer to our home, but found their communication was lacking even before any work started. Decided to bring it to FIX for anothet quote. It was night and day. Is there such a a thing as over communication?? So first off, everyone at FIX is super professional. I got started with Lee and thought this guy's great I hope I continue to work with him. But then I talked to a couple others throughout the process and everyone was on top of it. On top of that I think I got daily emails letting ne know my estimated date was still on target. I know mine was a small job but everything was on point and it felt nice to be kept abreast. At pick up there was a discrepancy with my deductible and I thought this was where everything was going to fall apart. It took them 2 minutes and 1 phone calls to resolve the issue. Aside from that one small issue, everything else was seamless from start to finish. One last thing to mention, their location is close to a lot of heavy construction and dump trucks. As I was dropping off my vehicle I thought for sure there would be a layer of construction dust on my car when everything was done. I was surprised to get my car back cleaner than when I dropped it off. FIX auto is definitely a solid choice and will be my first choice if I ever have to go through this process again.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Fix Auto Irvine. My insurance company directed me…read moreto this shop as their preferred body shop for a windshield replacement so I expected a professional and efficient experience. Instead I encountered poor customer service and a complete lack of communication. I scheduled an appointment with Armando and brought my vehicle in for an estimate on June 25. From the moment I arrived Armando was rude, dismissive and condescending. Rather than treating me like a valued customer I felt like I was an inconvenience. What happened next was even worse. Five days have now passed and I still have not received the repair estimate. Despite multiple follow-up calls and reminders to both Armando and Jessica no one has provided the estimate till now. Having to repeatedly chase a business for something as basic as an estimate for new windshield is unacceptable. It's difficult to understand how a shop can be an insurance company's "preferred" repair facility when it cannot provide timely communication or basic customer service. If this is how they treat customers before the work even begins it does not inspire confidence in the quality of the repairs they perform. I have wasted valuable time waiting for an estimate that should have been provided promptly and the entire experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Based on my experience I would not recommend Fix Auto Irvine to anyone and would strongly encourage others to consider alternative repair shops if they have a choice.
