FSE-LA Complete Auto Center is a hidden jewel in Irvine. I sent my Tesla Model Y and BMW to FSE to add window tint and minor repairs two days ago. I dropped my cars there around 10:30am, and they were ready in the afternoon. My cars looked shiny and pretty. FSE technicians are very friendly and professional. I have been bringing my cars here for 4 years now and they really know what they are doing. My cars are still under OEM warranty but I only let these guys work on my cars. I drove 2 hours and 50 minutes to go to this shop after my Porsche dealership had the car for a week and couldn't get what I needed done! First, I dealt with Jonathan, the dude is amazing! Responsive, knowledgeable, caring, accommodating.. I thought maybe I got lucky with that one person .. but when I actually got there, I met Cody (the owner) and Twan(sorry I met other great people but I didn't catch their names) and it turned out the whole place is full of amazing, honest, accommodating and knowledgeable people.. it is part of their shop DNA. As you first walk in, you see a clean and well maintained front of the store, sure many places have that but their is next level setup.. then I was lucky to see the back and it is also well organized and well maintained.. I had to wait there because it didn't make sense for me to drive back for a same day job, and throughout me being there, they offered water, updated me on statuses, and were extremely extremely friendly. Even during lunch time, they asked me if I would like to join. Who does that?? Other than amazing people. Everything was timely, professional, transparent pricing, great value.. I mean I don't have enough ways to say that it was the best experience i encountered. Their technicians are all highly skilled, certified, and did in minutes what the dealership couldn't do in a week. I needed body modification and electronic modification services and they did both amazing. My review is based on one interaction but I already am bringing the same car for more work in three weeks (sure as hell don't mind the 5 hour drive for this kind of service) and already planning to bring my other car after! Totally totally recommend, if you love cars, if you love racing, if you want quality body work and collision (thankfully that is not why I was there but I saw their work and paint too) you should try them! We took our crummy old van to this place because they were just up the street. It had some fluid leaking out of the bottom. They were able to take a look at it and tell me exactly what was wrong with it! They were awesome! It was kind of embarrassing bringing our old van there because if you look around they fix luxury sports vehicles, but they were so kind and knowledgeable about what the problem was and helped us! read more

Car was making rattling noises and a bunch of things on dash such as battery and overheating indicators suddenly turned on while driving today. I pulled into FSE LA for inspection and the mechanic noted I had a coolant leak but wasn't sure why. I mentioned the noise to him and he also didn't know why that happened. After taking 10-20 minutes or so looking at my car, he declared my battery was dead and needed to be replaced prior to any further investigation. In addition, my ABS is screwed up and my airbag is broken too. Suddenly, a laundry list of repairs is in my near future and I need to take care of them ASAP! But wait a minute, why do you need my battery to be working to know why my coolant leaked? Not to mention I just replaced my battery a couple years ago. I also recently went back to Toyota for airbag recall, so what's the deal? Things didn't add up, so after they added some coolant in my car to make sure my car doesn't catch on fire in this heat, I went to RAC Auto Care for a second opinion. Seconds after popping open my hood, RAC was able to determine it was my drive belt that was visibly shredded and needed to be repaired. RAC then explained to me how the drive belt not working manifested in the issues I saw and experienced today. The explanation was logical and was easy to follow. They replaced the belt in an hour and left the car running for a bit to charge up my battery. They topped off my coolant after verifying everything was working and only charged me $75 for everything. Meanwhile, FSE LA appeared to not have a damn clue what was wrong with my car and insisted on replacing my battery and maybe fixing all these other broken things as a result of their "inspection". They wasted half an hour of my life and charged me $60 for the useless inspection and coolant without doing hardly any troubleshooting; they not only managed to not answer the problem I came in the shop with but also created fake concerns in an attempt to rip me off. Save yourself some trouble and skip this place. They are incompetent, deceitful, and unhelpful; if I had listened to them, I would've easily spent hundreds and still had a troubled car. Go to the honest people at RAC Auto Care on Garfield instead. They took care of my car swiftly with no bs. I will definitely go back for my future car troubles and will recommend my friends to do the same! read more
