Happy well fed (Coney), child!

My family loves Skylines Chili. I was first introduced to Skylines when we moved to Ohio in the early seventies, into Mt. Healthy @ 14 I wasn't sure I'd like it but, once I'd had a Chili dog; I was hooked. Then, ten years later (in Clifton) I was introduced too the three way @ Skyline and that was the staple of my diet while at U.C. Now my family makes a Night of it. At Skyline on 747 near Becket ridge or Skyline on 63 near liberty & Trenton intersection. Both places have always been clean and the service quick, friendly & generous! With goodly sized portions & what more could you say of a delicious meal like Skyline and their recipe.

As a native Cincinnati-an, loving Skyline Chili is in my DNA. I was born and raised in West Chester, and there is no shortage of Skyline Chili locations at my disposal. This location is a personal favorite due to location and friendly service. I honestly have never had a bad experience at Skyline, and would recommend anything on their menu. A few of my usual go-to menu items includes the 4-way (noodles topped with classic Skyline chili and amazingly light/ fluffy cheddar cheese and choice of onions or beans), the coneys ( hot dog topped with the same mouth-watering ingredients (chili + cheese) mustard and onions). A game-day favorite is the skyline dip (cream cheese base topped with chili and cheese). It comes with tortilla chips and never lasts past the half time show during a football game. Overall, whether you are a Cincinnati native or just traveling through the area, make sure to stop by Skyline

I'm sure this will be the unpopular opinion. However, I wasn't a fan of Skyline. To be honest, I'm not a fan of Cincinnati chili. Cincinnati chili is chili with cinnamon in it. It's just weird and that's not how I grew up eating chili. However, I respect it and tried to give it another try to see if maybe the taste would grow on me. Unfortunately, it didn't. I ordered a Chili 5-Way with a side Greek salad. I love the concept of the 5-way but I just wasn't a fan of the chili. The side salad was actually pretty good. Overall, I tried to give Cincinnati chili another try but it just didn't do it for me.

I always have to eat here when I'm back in town visiting! My favorites are cheese coneys with no onions or mustard and the three way! The fries are also very good and crispy. Sweet tea is a little too sweet for me so I always do half sweet and half unsweet & it's the perfect combo.

Skyline is a local institution. It is the McDonald's of chili: good, inexpensive, consistent, bright and clean. I like the chili despite my better instincts. Check that. I LOVE their chili. The cheese is very orange, as God intended. I get the 4-way (belay the sexual innuendo here, please. Act like an adult.) and have been known to get an extra chili bowl and pour it on top. I buy cans and make it at home and put in over tortilla chips, french fries and baked potatoes. Listen: there is better chili. There is only one Skyline. There is a place in the world for restaurants like this. They bring order to the universe.

Can you find it?? No? There's a hair in my salad. A long, black hair.

Don't order online for pickup. Time is slow and the food portions are smaller than if you eat in. Just a warning!!

Who forgets to give cheese with a 3 way drive thru order... this skyline. Now we're left with a closed skyline and a cheeseless 3 way

My BFF and I were in the area and just wanted to share a good burger. I remembered seeing this…read morelocation being here but I haven't stopped in yet. Well on this day we stopped in for a quick burger and fries. Well as you can see in my picture we opted for the onion rings and wow am I glad we went this route. We got the big easy. We shared the burger and onion rings and it was the perfect amount food for the two of us. Not only was the food super fresh to me it tasted like an upscale Big Mac with the best onion rings. I would gladly come back here and get another burger. And since it is just around the corner from the bird store and a grocery store I go to weekly, I guess I will be back. I would much rather spend a little extra on a good burger than get something that just doesn't even taste good at a chain of M's.

To the point, the food was ok, no better than Sonic my burger tasted just like a double bacon cheeseburger from Sonic. If you had given it to me and told me it was from Sonic I would not have known the difference. Here lies the issue, the Wayback burger costs about twice what SOnic charges. This applies to all their food, everything was way overpriced for the quality. More outrageous, my soda (we all know it costs them pennies to serve) but they charged me $4.59 for a soft drink! Look at my receipt, four burgers, one soda and one milkshake, one order of fries, and one order of Tator tots. At Sonic this would have been about $22 bucks. At the far better Five Guys, it would have been about $40 which is still expensive but better quality than SOnic and we all know Five Guys gives you a boatload of fries. Our order was over $72 dollars! $72.70 in fact! Don't tell me about inflation or higher wages, it simply does not cost that much to make a cheap burger with paper-thin bacon. That may be why the place was empty at 1 in the afternoon when every other burger joint on the planet would be packed. Honestly, if they were amazing burgers that were huge with a cornucopia of fries maybe, but for most people $72 is not a reasonable lunch price for four people.

My husband and I ordered through DoorDash and got two pepperoni pizzas -- one regular and one vegan -- both on the OG hand-tossed crust. I really appreciate that they offer a full vegan selection, including vegan cheese and vegan "meats." It's nice to see a spot where plant-based options feel like a core part of the menu. My husband said the regular pepperoni pizza gave him Pizza Hut vibes, which he meant in a good, nostalgic way. The vegan version was tasty too and definitely satisfied the craving. The only drawback for me was the crust. The texture and thickness were nice, but the crust itself lacked flavor. With a more seasoned dough, this would more likely be a five-star experience. Overall, a solid option -- especially for mixed vegan and non-vegan households.

The pizza was well made, was a little surprised the tikka masala sauce was so creamy vs tomato based but still tasty. The paan was like a cold sweet paan. Excited to try the taco twist side, the bowls, wraps and burgers. Seems like you could visit this place several times and still not get through the menu.
