This Raising Cane's location is wayyy better than the one on Tylersville. The place was clean and smelled fresh. The kitchen staff were focused and working hard, which was reassuring after my horrible experience at the Tylersville location, where the staff kept messing up orders and clearly didn't care about meeting basic standards. Service was quick, and the person who took my order was kind and helpful. The food was delicious and I have no complaints. Update: increased to 4 stars. Raising Canes customer service team was excellent and understanding. Makes me feel much better about the company. Canes used to be a staple in our household. After a few disappointing visits this one takes the cake. We always come into canes to sit and eat because you the past few years to go portions have gotten smaller. Eating in gets you more fries. The team accidentally put our order into to go boxes. We said not a big deal, sat down, and what do you know... very few fries. So I went up to ask for a few more and it turned it to a big deal. The manager (Isaiah) ended up coming out and said all fries are weighed. As he was telling me this there was a tray that went out with much more fries than I had. He said it was a problem with employees over portioning and that my portion was the correct size. It was clear I wasn't getting anywhere with this. I thanked him for talking sat down and ended up have 4 other customers say that I got jipped and they eat in for the same reasons. The value is not what it was and asking for a few additional fries turned into a big deal. Wont be back. The two ladies taking orders were nice and friendly and both ended up apologizing later. This was our first visit to a Raising Cane's. The young lady working at the counter was super and just watching her she is one the hardest working young people I have seen in a while. She was constantly out in the seating area cleaning tables and stocking the drink counter then running back to take care of customers as they came in to order. I have never had to wait 15 minutes for 2 X 3 Finger Combo's. Not only was the wait time absolutely disappointing, but also, the size of the chicken tenders were very small. I don't know if they are downsizing their usual tenders size, but it certainly appears so. The service was sloppy. It seemed as though they were not taking the job seriously, with laughing and joking around behind the scenes. I remember I waited TWO MINUTES at the Florence location one time, and the lady then gave us 2 X Free Meals for next time for the inconvenience and the wait time. Went in 45 minutes before closing. Not one person smiled, even the person taking our order was expressionless. She rang our order up as to go, although she never asked us and we were dining in. There was literally one other customer in the store, no one in the drive thru, and it took 15 minutes to fill our order. I have no idea how. Before we even got our food, they had one of the trash cans covered up. So they made me walk clear across their store to throw away my straw wrapper and napkin. As we eat they are turning over tables right and putting up chairs to clean, right next to us. This is still 30 minutes before closing time. At least the chicken was hot, although the fries were almost cold and I can't figure out how. Anyway, I would hate to eat at this place when it's busy. Honestly, if they'd been friendly it would've made a world of difference, but everyone seemed annoyed that we were there. So I am not sure why everyone goes all gaga for this place. The chicken was not done well...the flavor of the breading was nothing special. The coleslaw was not good. I am not a big fan of coleslaw but have found a few that I have liked...this was not one of them. The fries looked promising(crinkle cut) but were old and cold. I got the Caniac. 6 tenders, extra fries, coleslaw, texas toast, Cane's sauce, and a large drink. I ended up substituting an extra piece of toast for the coleslaw. When are they going to realize that shoving hot steaming food into a styrofoam box is a recipe for soggy food! Following my own definition that five-star places do what they do as well as it can be done and/or better than others - this Raising Cane's is five stars. Yesterday we hit their drive-thru and were greeted with an enthusiastic jingle from the employee. We ordered and as usual service was fast and efficient but most importantly the food rocked - always freshly fried chicken tenders and crinkle-cut fries, super soft Texas toast, and Cane's sauce (always buy an extra!). We've never had less than molten chicken tenders and fries, usually we have to wait about five minutes to enjoy them - which is a much better experience than the alternative. I've previously had the cole slaw and it is consistently fresh and delicious. read more

Couldn't take credit cards this afternoon, system was down. Thought we we try this place out as it is new. Ordered the box 4 piece with fries, Texas toast, and a drink for $8. Chicken strips were decent size, hot, and juicy. Breading had no flavor to it. Fries were crinkle cut probably frozen. They were nothing special - cooled off quickly. I would say this place has the best chicken fingers. The fries are your average crinkle cut fries. But everything was nice and hot and cooked well. The Texas toast is really good. It's nice and soft. I usually like honey mustard for dipping but their signature sauce is pretty tasty. The Cole slaw is not so great. The staff is nice and friendly and the service is prompt. The only thing I can say I don't like is there are not many options. No other sides to choose from. I wish they had a few more things to pick from. The building is in a strange spot in front of SAMs club. A little tricky trying to figure out where to pull in at. It's a little pricy for what you get but the chicken fingers are chunks of real chicken meat. I will be back when I get in the mood for some fingers;) read more
