Keep coming here because it is close to my job and quick meal but disappointed every time. Servers are rude, I stood there for 5 minutes waiting to be checked out while workers were standing around talking. This is a fairly active Skyline location, clean with quite a bit of seating. Grab a table where you want and a server will come out to take your order. I usually get the FIVE WAY with a CHEESE CONEY, and my husband prefers the FOUR WAY. A Cincinnati chili parlor is about the only place you can ask for a three way in public without getting slapped. I don't think Skyline has the best version of Cincinnati chili in town, that designation goes to the iconic Camp Washington Chili. The Chili at Skyline is thicker and has more cinnamon than the Camp Washington version, so if you like a thicker style you might prefer Skyline. It's quick, cheap-ish and easy to eat, so there are times when eating here isn't a terrible idea. read more

Yuck! It's Ohio's signature fast food chains which my hubby can't get enough of. I've tried it a few times and each time is the same, nasty, bland, greasy chili on top of spaghetti covered with cheddar cheese. Can't say much about the customer service since we go through drive through. Can't expect much from this place. read more

We absolutely love skyline chili! It's a little confusing if you go the first time without someone to explain the 3, 4 and 5 way chili. We usually go and get a small 4 way and a cheese coney. The staff is always friendly and helpful. As for the food, it is always consistently great! When we have friends come in from out of town, we like to take them there since Cincinnati is famous for it. If friends come back in town after moving away, they always want to go there first. read more

With some skepticism i order the a combo bowl of spegetti with chilli and cheese, and a coney 3-ways.....! OMG!!!! Could of ate three combo's!!! OH yea!! you must order Atomic cheese!! I don't think you can call what Skyline sells 'chili'. It is pretty damn good though. More like a ground beef stew kind of thing. I would gladly buy a quart or half gallon next time I'm in the area and just freeze the leftovers I can't say I'm a big fan of waiter service for what's basically fast food, but the price luckily doesn't reflect it. Had the coney dog and I can't remember the name, but basically a burrito with chili in it. The coney dog was pretty dull though. Steamed bun and steamed dog with chili and a mountain of shredded cheddar on it. I took off about 3/4 of the cheese, and yet the taste was still dominated by the sharp cheddar. You would have to have seen the coney dog to believe it though. The hot dog was about the diameter and length of a sharpie. I get you're trying to keep it cheap, but that's just ridiculous when you have almost a full-sized bun. read more

Like all great Cincinnatians, I am an adamant fan of Skyline Chili, and all that they stand for. I also understand of course, that there food needs no introduction, and that for those of us lucky enough to live around the Queen city, we know what we are getting into when we visit our local Skyline restaurant. Although, this Springdale location is honestly quite tiny, and can easily be missed from the road, it is just as deserving as any of their restaurants, when it comes to earning your hard earned dollar. The service is extremely quick, you are always greeted with a smile, and the restaurant is kept nice and clean. However, what keeps this location from a five star rating is simply their hours. They are horrible. It seems like if you show up here any time after 8PM, you are going to be out of luck, and we all know, you can feel good and hungry any time of the day or night, even in the suburbs! read more

I always go to Skyline when I am wanting some good Cincinnati style chili. This particular location is nothing special, it is located across from Tri-County mall which makes it nice for some after shopping, chomping! This is the 3rd Skyline I have been to and it was no better nor worse than any of the others I have been to thus far. It was clean, the service was friendly and had all of the menu items you want from a Skyline. Had a 3-way and it was Skyline-tastic. I guess you have to be from Cincinnati and have grown up with it to understand the appeal. I had the same response after having my first White Castle hamburger: "This is it?". My 12-year old was amazed at all of the cheese piled up on everything! Most dishes seemed to be vehicles for mounds of finely shredded cheddar. Prices were low for small portions of "soupy" chili. My 10-year old complained about his kid's hot dog - you know you are in trouble when that happens. I took a bite and had to agree - it was terrible! The fries were good and the service was attentive and friendly. read more
