Skylight Pros has completed several projects for me, including skylights in my foyer and bathroom as well as a solar tube, and I've been extremely pleased with their work every time. There's a reason they're the first company I think of whenever I need skylight work done--and the one I confidently recommend to friends. Carlton and Andres are always great to work with, and the entire crew is professional, reliable, and takes pride in what they do. They consistently meet my expectations, and the quality of their craftsmanship really shows in the finished result. After multiple great experiences with Skylight Pros, they've earned my trust and continue to be my go-to for skylight work. I highly recommend them! read more

Excellent to work with. Carlton runs a great business and wants to do what's right for the customer. Install team was on time and very professional and respectful. They replaced 6 old skylights for us with solar powered venting and lifting skylights. Very happy with the product and really impressed with the team. We even had to have them come back and adjust something and they were back out the next day. read more

We have recently hired Skylight Pros to replace our 2 old skylights and install new flashing on the roof. Much thanks to the installation crew, Joey and Luis, for their outstanding work, and to Andres for providing excellent and courteous service. read more

Andres of Skylight Pros was all pro. A great product and great customer service from him.

I have had a very positive experience working with skylight pros. When Mannie and Carlton originally came over to check out my home I had a particular idea for skylights. However they were able to suggest a design that is far superior and allowed the structure of the roof to stay the same. Later during installation, Luis, Joey, and the others were great to work with. They were professional, courteous, and all around good company even with the temperatures in the 90s! They took their time programming the skylights at the end and consistently more thoughtful about all of their work the whole way through. This is a great company who has a strong connection to the market leader Velux. So if you are consider considering skylight definitely reach out to these guys. In addition to the four master bedroom skylights I also had a replacement skylight in the master bath which now is the type that opens and closes automatically. This was a huge upgrade over what was existing and I chose it on their suggestion which I much appreciated. Skylights Pros has a close connection with market leader Velux and were able to get some good discounts on some of the skylights. That was a helpful bonus! read more

After suffering a week long heat wave I looked around the townhouse to find where the heat was getting in. One source was my Vellux skylight. The skylight was a dual pane Low-E 3 argon gas filled unit which was rated to keep 80% of the sun's heat out. Standing under the skylight in summer with direct sunlight coming through that seemed accurate but that 20% was warming up the hallway. Taking a look at the Velux website I discovered they had blackout blinds. I purchased and had them installed by Skylight Pros. They are solar powered and allow you to control the amount of shade you want. I have plants in the hallway so the shades are open unless it's a really hot day. With the blackout blinds closed I no longer feel any heat from the skylight. As a side benefit I close the blackout blinds at night during the winter so the cold doesn't get in. Skylight Pro's did a great job with the install. Blinds look great and are working perfectly. Going forward it looks like I'll be replacing all the windows and patio doors with Low-E 3 argon gas filled units and pairing them with blackout blinds or sunshields to live comfortably without using the heater or AC. My previous cooling projects are documented here: https://www.hungryones.com/2021/06/patio-productions/ https://www.hungryones.com/2021/08/patio-productions-part-2/ https://www.hungryones.com/2021/09/home-depot/ read more

Andres reached out to me via phone and came out to assess the damage of our leaking skylight the same day. 10/10 customer service, especially given the timing of the holidays. Everything went well. Firstly, I on Tuesday I discovered baby termites in my bathroom. I called my termite contractor who came and proudly acclaimed it's your skylights (I have two in bathroom area). They sprayed around skylight and departed. Next day I went to gym returned to find the babies are back. My husband was searching for skylight replacement contractors. God was watching as the first one we called was Skylight. Not only did a person answer the call but it was THE person I needed. Carl listened to my tale of woe and within an hour he and his colleague, Andreas were at my front door. Viewed the skylights, took measurements and today not 24 hrs later installed three new skylights. Great guys, good pricing and the most responsive contractors in today's world. Recommend highly. read more

They were very responsive. When they came out, they were able to get the new skylight replaced and installed quickly.

Skylight Pros provided quality service for a good price. I appreciated the follow up when a custom window size needed to be ordered.

This biz knocked it outta the park ! My mom's old townhouse has horrible original skylights over a former patio---and I dreaded even beginning the process of finding an Honest & competent proessional. Let's face it, Skylights a VERY specialized building feature....and if done shoddily you're screwed with years of rain leaking in over valuable home furnishings. As almost ALWAYS....a YELP search found this biz SKYLIGHT PROS....and the rest is history thanks to KEVIN ! Amazing guy and so responsive, competent, professional ---- with an attention to detail beyond expectations. They replace my old skylights with VELUX brand and the design / quality incredible. Of course this not cheap-but for a home ceiling / roof structutral component you don't go cheap ! However, to help the cost management, Skylight Pros even offers a financing option INTEREST FREE for a year if you pay off in full ! We jumped on this and have until Feb 2024 to pay now ! LOK NO FURTHER than SKYLIGHT PROS and KEVIN ! read more

I had Skylight Pros install a new skylight in my home yesterday; Luis and his colleague were great and very accommodating, helping me figure out the options for replacing a second skylight in the casita of the home even as he efficiently installed the first one. My experience with Sky Light Pros was awesome, just what we needed, a quick and professional job! My wife and i loved how fast they were to respond to a quote request and they had everything lined up for service in a breeze. We contracted them to install two medium sized Skylights on the roof of our ADU project and they got the job done quick & efficiently, and they kept the price fair compared to other companies we looked up. We were very happy with them, super cool hard working guys, easy to talk to. Would Recommend read more

Carlton and Maria worked with me as our renovation evolved, and I had to change my plan several times. When they came out for the installation, one of the tubes could not be put into its designated spot because tubes can't sit in a vaulted ceiling; Carlton helped me change the plan while the crew were at the house, swapping a small skylight for the solar tube with only a small increase in cost (a few hundred dollars) and no additional charges despite the workers having to go back to the factory to swap out the products. The tubes and small skylight bring tremendous light into our few dark spaces (a couple of bathrooms and my wife's walk-in closet), and the natural light really elevates those spaces. The look is beautiful, the price is great, the sales, service, and tech teams are responsive, helpful, and friendly. Five star experience. read more

Skylight Pros did an excellent job replacing two side-by-side skylights with a single ventilating skylight. The installation included replacing the interior wood framing to match the existing wood panel ceiling; the results are quite good. We also added 3 new skylights & replaced an existing one, requiring building curbs. As we also had the asphalt roof replaced with SSMR, Skylight Pros worked with the roofers to match schedules. This hadn't occurred to me, and was not part of the quote, but all skylight attic framing includes insulation. Much appreciated, difficult with a low sloping roof. read more

Was put in contact with Kevin and after scheduling a date her stopped by our house and provided us a few options and quotes. Skylight Pros pricing easily beat competitors. Kevin is attentive, very knowledgeable and took care of us. Our previous skylight was similar to a single pane window that let in immense heat and moisture. Skylight Pros installed a Velux skylight that reduce the heat in our room by at least 15 degrees. We waited to write this review because we really wanted to test it out on a hot day. It was the best money spent (low cost and high impact item). I will be recommending family and friends to this company for all Skylight needs! read more

Love our new two new skylights and solar tube. The team at Skylight Pros did a great job. They came when scheduled, minimized the mess, and the skylights look great. As we just installed them in May, we haven't gone through a rainy season yet but I'm sure they will take care of any issues if they arise. Had a bit of communication issue at the end after the install but they came through with their commitments. Be aware that drywall is included but only rough mudding. If you have exposed trusses like we do, it takes quite a bit of work to get everything looking good. So either budget time for yourself or budget money for a painter. Although it took a few weeks for them to get me on their schedule for just a service call, it was well worth the wait. Kevin ended up coming out on Saturday of a holiday weekend, to check out my problem. Once he realized it turned out to be an easy fix, he kindly did the repair as a courtesy , cleaned the glass while on the roof and even removed some old nails the roofers left years ago . Would definitely use again if/when needed in future and highly recommend . Thx read more

Kevin has a level of care and craft difficult to find: I can tell he loves his job because it shows through everything he does; he treats everything with the utmost care like it was his place, clean up after themselves and put as much effort as they need to make the job perfect.
