My daughter Emma(10 yes old) is a huge TRAXXAS fan! She purchased her first RC,the Mini Maxx here at this shop. The staff there are very helpful and polite. They answered her every question. Their patience is fantastic! One week after she purchased it, she accidentally crashed it on a pole. The A arm, the bulkhead,the steering link, and the servo all fractured!!(hope i spelled those parts correctly). She waited for all those parts to be delivered. Once she had them, she herself called Skyhunter and asked if they had time to repair her RC. Nick,an employee said to take it in. We arrived dropped it off, went out for lunch. The guys in there are great. I'm pretty deep into the hobby myself at this point, but I don't enjoy the finicky parts like painting bodies or soldering. They do great work at very reasonable pricing if you can't handle a project yourself! I also rarely have an issue with their stocking, they have most Arrma and Traxxas parts you could need, as well as tons of RC crawler stuff. I enjoy my time in there every time I go in. read more

Perfect local spor for me and my son to go and get the necessities for our rc trucks. They have a sweet indoor drift track, and ple ty of options for most popular rc cars/trucks/aircraft out there. Staff is attentive to helping you. They even soldered up a charging lead for me because they didn't have exactly what I was looking for. He did such good work, it looked like a stck off the wall part when he was done. Fair prices compared to non b&m stores. read more

We were in town for the week and I had just purchased a wltoys k989 (mini-z clone), so I was excited to look for mods. I found this shop on yelp and decided to give them a call to see if they carried anything geared towards mini-z. Their selection was limited, but the owner was more than happy to provide advice over the phone. I went in the next day after lunch to check out the store, and he was setting up for the day. I met him and he showed me what products they had for mini-z, and even though I didn't end up buying anything, he was still more than willing to offer assistance and recommendations. The greatest thing, and I totally feel bad about it, was that he never pressured me to buy anything. After showing me a few items, he even said, "I don't want to sell you anything that wouldn't work for you car," because we weren't sure if the products there would fit. They carry a lot of mainstream RC vehicles and accessories, so most likely they have what you're looking for. From what I remember, they had Traxxas, Arrma, Tamiya, and even scale and Gundam models, and even Tinywhoop and other drone products. The drift track and crawler trail were both very cool, too. Overall, a great experience -- it's the type of mom and pop shop that any customer coming from near and far would be willing to support. Sadly I didn't get the owner's name, but I wish you all the very best! P.S. We even exchanged stories about our families and backgrounds, so that was nice. I came into the store looking for a part for For 10 scale Losi stadium truck pretty standard Heim joint/ball joint/universal part. It seems that they had no willingness to try and help with my request that I had a.k.a. lack of customer service even then to go on and say maybe I should try the alternate hobby store in Palmdale. High desert hobbies. I'm sure a part from a Traxxas or some other model might fit they have a Losi banner in the window but don't support them. This doesn't make sense to me that they would not even try and resolve or help me. And sent me to another store. Which is actually where I take most of my business because I've been treated this way before here. No enthusiasm to help the customer. Im not an amateur at this hobby. I really wish I would be met with a better attitude when I come into the store. This will probably be the last time I visit here. I have tried the store before only to be let down again. I come in with a open mind with intent to be helped. Not even to be Greeted. But for some other employee to be delegated to serve me. read more

It's a cool little hobby shop. Just like most hobby shop they do one thing good weather it planes, trains, models, racing, boats, etc.. This is a race shop hobby store. They are super good guys they have helped me and they know their stuff. But also on two occasions we have tried to get RTR's and they didn't have them. And both were from a big named brand. It's hard to support you hobby shop if they don't stock what you fly. I've tried quads , airplanes but collective pitch helicopters are my favorite due to the actual difficulty to learn to fly them and master 3D aerobatics. They have very limited stock for helicopter parts. They cater to what sells but at least stock some more heli stuff. There are some great kits out there right now. read more
