Making the drive on a Sunday morning from Southeast D.C. wasn't that bad. It took 25 minutes without traffic. After spending two hours at Sky Zone for a birthday party, it was worth the drive. Signing waivers beforehand, we saved money on bringing our own grip socks. It's pretty big with several party rooms, a large open space with tables for adults to work or hang out, and lots of trampolines. My seven-year-old loved the climbing wall, Ninja courses, and the platform where you jump into the foam pit. There's a snack area and cheap arcade games that are never worth your money. There's a parking lot out front.

We went there for a birthday party and were very disappointed. They won't let you bring your own socks with anti slippery bottom or even socks from other Sky Zone location. They charge $8 for a pair of toddler size socks just to make more money out of you. The party package pricing is unreasonable. This place is best for kids 6+ years old. Younger kids get knocked down by older kids, especially in the obstacle section.

We went for a Bday party. Check in was easy. They have QR Codes posted all over the area for easy access. The place is open and bright. The highlight for my children (5 and 6) was the high slide.

What you will see at 50% of the attractions. Even though you paid 100% of the price of admission.

Half the "rides"/attractions" were closed. The rate was still full price. Big area under construction. Part of monkey bar/pad area "under construction ". The climbing cubes were closed. The high wire thing you hang from was closed. Want to sit and eat your expensive pizza? Sorry, only 9 tables on ground level and the parents who don't supervise their kids are on the cell phones taking up a whole table. Usually put their kids shoes on the table as well. Nice and clean for your pizza. Lots of money for few attractions. Been to a few of these in different states. This was the worst one.

My bfs daughter and her cousin had a joint birthday party here. I've been to a few locations and this one was so disorganized. The check in process took forever and we are trying to keep 4 kids calm who just want to go play. It took probably 15 minutes. No one knew exactly where the birthday room was. Halfway through the party a nice associate told me the room was upstairs after she saw me going back and forth to put the gifts in my car. The kids seemed to have a good time. The birthday room was set up but the pizza took forever and 4/5 year olds are not that patient. Lol I wouldn't come back to this location unless invited to a party.

Where do I begin? We went to Skyzone so frequently that we decided to get memberships. However, I was quite dissatisfied and disgusted with the upkeep today. It smells like feet, and the floors were sticky and haven't seen a mop in a long time. It's obvious that they haven't cleaned this house in a long time. It maybe time to end our membership.

One very-cool sink not working. Other very-cool sink has no soap and scalding hot water.

Being run by kids. Seriously. No one over the age of 20 visible to manage the show anywhere in the facility. Some kids wearing orange uniform. Others without any uniform hanging out with those wearing uniform while they are on the job. Total chaos. No one to enforce any kind of order anywhere - locker, "Wipe Out" queue for kids, on the different trampolines, etc. Only order was at entrance in front of the cashier. Multiple play areas closed. Remaining 5 of 7 areas were some form of trampoline. Men's bathroom: (Attached Pic) 2 too-cool-to-be-hygienic sinks. One sink not working. The other - No soap. Not warm, but scalding hot water. In peak flu season. In a faculty where kids are jumping over each other. As an aside: They charge for socks. Great idea to keep facility clean for kids. Till you realize... Nearly everyone is walking into the restroom and on to the urinal with just those temporary socks on. And then going back to the play area. My totally-awesome-genius suggestion to management that will reduce their profit: Let people wear their own socks like others in the business and not one person will walk into the bathroom with just the socks on without first wearing their shoes. Lockers: I have to enter my passcode for the locker in front of everyone and pay $3+ to keep my shoes safe. You guys are REALLY working hard to make it suck.

The community, and all the surrounding communities came together to try to ease the unimaginable pain from this terrible event. The local Skyzone stepped up and provided a day of support for the children of Chatham. The community was touched by the gesture. Several $1000 was spent for the use of the space and for pizzas and other items. It is now being reported that the manager of that location was fired for this wonderful gift to a community of children who lost friends, siblings, family. Many of whom were in the building and witnessed the horrific aftermath. The remaining employees have put in their 2 weeks notice in support of the manager. Skyzone does not deserve your money and clearly has no sense of right and wrong, nor do they care about children. Our entire community is now boycotting them and hope to see it spread across the country In honor of these four girls and all those left heartbroken.

There were no signs regarding age, so I saw no reason to refuse. There was another little boy about three back there, too. Both of them got up in the structure, couldn't see their mom and grandma and wanted to come out. The complexity of the structure made it confusing to find their way out and they both started screaming for us and panicked. The man at the front desk just kept on reading his book or phone and ignored the chaos. I am way too old to try to climb up into the thing so I was lucky that the young mother retrieved her son then went after my little guy. Much better supervision is needed there. I won't be back.

We got the 6 month pass and it's already paid for itself with how often we've gone. I haven't had any other issues with kids or parents and everyone has been so polite, even helping my daughter stand back up when their kids might bump into her while playing. It's so nice to have a space for kids to be kids! It can be loud and busy, so if you aren't a fan of that maybe go later in the evening on weekdays when it's slower. I love that kids can run around yelling and be kids in a safe environment. It's also great for her to try new toys so we're building a nice Christmas list every time we go, lol. There's a gift shop inside too so we try to steer her away from that.
