Review of water park only: Don't buy for the whole family. We made the mistake of buying for a family of 4, but only small kids would enjoy this. Could have saved half the cost by just buying for 2 kids. You definitely don't need more than an hour either. It's really loud, so it's not great for autistic or sensory sensitive kids. My kids don't enjoy water directly in their face, and there's nowhere to go that doesn't have water landing directly in your face. There's nowhere for adults to sit, and it's a small room so there's residual splashing everywhere; wear pool shoes even if you don't go on the play structure and are just supervising the kids. During the 5-minute breaks once per hour, it would be nice if you could use the adjacent pool I but it was occupied with aquatic sports teams. Staff were very friendly, and the overall sports/rec facility looks huge and very clean. Locker rooms were very clean as well. For our family, however, it just wasn't worth the price paid nor was it the type of water park that would work for older kids or autistic kids. read more

We visited on Sunday morning during tots time 9-1130. It was empty with only a few young kids so it was easy watching two toddlers running around. Kids two and under are free to enter. We had a blast at the bounce house and the ninja maze. There is a rock climbing wall and some advanced obstacle course for older kids. My kids were fascinated by the arcade too, they sat on the motorcycle and pretended to play. The groupon deal makes it worth going, you get two hours of play on the regular ticket price. Went on a Sunday toddler hours 9-1130. I have to say I like the set up. It is definitely nice to have certain hours for the younger kids. A lot of space to walk around. Free coffee during this time for parents. The only thing I didn't like is the arcade. Several of the games weren't working and I feel like it would be better if it was separate like in a separate room because it's easy for the young kids to get distracted by the arcade. This place has the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with, I booked a party and paid the deposit the next day (which was ahead of the two weeks) I asked about the cancellation policy and how far ahead I Could reschedule- Allison answered the phone and wouldn't even let me explain what I was trying to ask- just kept repeating I wouldn't get my money back. I told her I would call back and speak to someone else but to write my name down and when I called to ask about the cancellation policy. The week of the party they charge my card and I email them- the next morning Allison calls me back at 8:00 am really defensive and says she has an AI transcription of our conversation. At this point, I don't understand why they would even have her call me back after our last conversation. She doesn't even let the customer get a word in and she's so defensive. read more

There was a Groupon for a birthday party that declared it was "all inclusive", and when I called, I was told in a pretty aggressive way by their party planner that food was not included in any of those packages. He tried to make me feel like I was an idiot for thinking that food would be included even though their advertising is clearly marked as all inclusive. I asked if he could honor the Groupon as advertised and was given a winded explanation of how their parties are structured and where I can find their menu online. I've been to the water park a few times. Great option in the winter or rainy days. They often have deals on Groupon or other such sites too. I've brought toddlers and less mobile kiddos here and would suggest that kids at least be able to walk before visiting. More to do obviously. They shut down on the hour, I believe, to clean or rest or something. The whole facility is pretty amazing and I hear membership is pretty steep, but it's nice to have the option as a non-member to visit the water park. read more

I've taken my nephews to the indoor play area for the past 2-3 years now and they continue to ask to come back. Prices are reasonable and the play area is clean, large and lots of fun play for the kiddos. There is a large bounce house, climbing playground, nerf guns (free to use), 3 climbing walls, ninja warrior obstacle course, and more! We have noticed they added an arcade area since we last visited. My nephews loved playing the arcade games after they were done with the playground. My GrandGirls and I went on a Saturday around 2:00pm. It wasn't overcrowded. I thought it was a little pricey but it was worth it! My GrandGirls had a blast! I would have given it 5 stars but the actual staff inside the play area looked so bored and disengaged. They would answer questions, weren't rude but just seemed like they didn't want to be there. The young man at front desk where you pay to enter had a professional attitude. Other than that I have no complaints. Nice and clean. We had our daughter's 13th Birthday in their "Super, Awesome and Amazing" party area and it was none of the above adjectives. This place told us there would be plenty for them to do at their age and it's not crowded in the late afternoon so we booked 3 hours for 15 kids ages 12-13 from 4-7pm. They were back in the party room after 30minutes and bored. We had to come up with ideas for games to play like hide and seek and tag. The place was swarming with little kids and our kids shouldn't have been there with them. You can't bounce in the bouncy house next to a toddler. The facility is not conducive for that big of age range. This place should be a 4-10 year olds. I have emailed three times complaining and haven't heard back. It is SO NOT worth the money. It cheaper and better to go to a bouncy house place or Zava Zone. DO NOT spend your money here...trust me. read more

The adventure park would have been 5 stars if it were clean. We were one of the first groups there for the day and the bounce area had not been cleaned from the day before. Discarded wrist bands, clumps of hair, and food wrappers. I asked an employee how often the inside was cleaned and he said it wasn't. The floor is cleaned everyday but the slides, bounce areas, etc are not cleaned. I miss the days of covid-cleanliness! Fun swimming area for littles! What a great little day trip for our toddler. This play area was well kept and fun. Not nearly as big as great wolf lodge but still a lot of fun for littles. Older kids (maybe 10+) probably wouldn't enjoy this area for long but the st James has SO much to do! The price was fair- altho I will say I shouldn't of had to pay to watch my daughter inside. Next time I will just pay her fee. Also enjoyed the fact that there was a cleaning and water test every hour. Lots of slides and a dump bucket. No actual swimming area in here. This place literally is super, awesome, and amazing. We've been here a few times now and the kid has soooo much fun. The kids who work here are pretty nice but they're not over-the-top or fake nice like people at similar places - they just do their jobs. I've never had an issue with the cleanliness here and even when it's crowded on weekends, it's never so crazy or unmanageable that you get scared your kid will be snatched. There's also never an insane wait, even on long days. Inside, there's a mini trampoline park, a three climbing structures, one dope in-air obstacle course, nerf areas, and an indoor jungle gym. There are some huge foam building blocks and party rooms, too. We haven't been to the water park yet, but this place is dope. read more

We've been several times with our 5 now 6 year old. On weekends there is always a party. I think price is reasonable for one child for an hour. There's a large slide/climbing playground where you could do nerf guns (varies how many people actually use the guns). There are large climbing towers which my kid got scared after a little ways up but there is staff holding harness. There's another climbing structure while harnessed above and a ninja warrior set up. My daughter loves the ninja warrior but on our last visit there were two sections missing so it made it impossible to go across and the end had a missing section too. There's also a small trampoline section. For toddlers there are giant foam blocks. Best for 5-10 year olds. Would get a 5 star if things were maintained more especially given it's at the St. James which is a very impressive sports facility. read more

As it turns out, "Super Awesome & Amazing" is actually "Mediocre, Disappointing & Expensive." It's like a lousy version of Zava Zone with less physical space and fewer things to do. On the day we visited, the waterpark was closed (for mysterious reasons about which the employees were vague). The waterpark was the whole point of our visit (otherwise we would have just gone to Zava Zone), so the mysterious closure just made their crap climbing area seem even worse. Plus, the employees didn't seem to care, which just compounded our annoyance and disappointment. All in all, I'd say I hate this place and you probably will, too. read more

I had my son's bday party at the indoor splash park. The park was great. It was warm which I loved. The staff was not so great. My brother and elderly parents were sent in multiple directions down long hallways by different staff members as they tried to find the party room. One staff member told them I didn't have a reservation for a party. I felt terrible about this, because one of my parents has trouble walking. Plus one of my guests said no one was at the front desk when he arrived. He didn't know where to go. Also the pizza was terrible. I had a box left over so I planned to eat some when I got home since I was too busy at the party to eat. I'm not pickly about my pizza, but as soon as I saw the pizza I suspected it was not going to taste good. After tasting it, I threw it out out of fear of getting sick. The facility is nice, but for the price, I expected better looking and tasting pizza, plus staff members who can direct guests to a reserved party room. read more

This place lives up to its name! Tucked inside of a brand new, bright, sprawling complex in an industrial area sits this 30,000 square foot kids heaven! We went on a Friday at mid-day. Our kiddos practically had the place to themselves. All the staff we encountered, from the St. James Complex front desk employees, to the Super, Awesome & Amazing employees were tremendously helpful; guiding my novice family through the facility, to providing instructions at each kid play area. The team was phenomenal! They even played catch with my son, which they weren't obligated to do. There's a huge jungle gym area with slides, and various climbing structures. There are also several climbing walls, which attendents get you safely suited up for, as well as a ninja obstacle course. Three virtual reality games (that I saw) and an interactive splash park will definitely keep your child/children's attention for an hour or more! Price wise, it's about on-par with other kid gym places like this. An hour for non-St. James complex members was $23, per child. If you think you'll be there longer than an hour (which we were) just go for the 120 minute option, as it's cheaper than having to add another hour. So much fun to be had at this place. My kiddos were safe they had a blast, and slept well that night! We'll definitely be back! read more

Only pay for an hour first time because your kids may not like it so 2 hours is a waste. Climbing socks are $3.00 per child. My total for 2 children was $53 for 1 hour of play. This place was phenonmenal! We had our daughter's 4th birthday party there last year and just finished her 5th birthday party. The facility speaks for itself with trampolines, climbing walls, obstacle courses and more. The coordinators for both occasions were very responsive, and they leverage a very intuitive website to facilitate questions, requests, signing contracts, posting invoices, and paying for the event. The party hosts for each occasion were also very accessible throughout the entire event and were very diligent in keeping the event on track with playtime, lunch, cake, and clean up. The food is catering quality and they offer adult beverages for mom and dad fun too. We had a couple of minor hiccups this last time and informed the manager who addressed the issues and even gave us a discount to come back. We're definitely hosting our daughter's 6th birthday there next year! read more

My overall review of this facility will cover the actual facility and then the way it all comes together. As a facility, this place is not as big as pictures make it seem. We came at 11am on a Thursday during summer and there as a summer camp. The room was crowded and the more fun things had a wait. My kids are 11 and 8 and they played for their full hour. Once the camp left, the place was empty and it was a good level of crowded. They liked the ninja warrior course and nerf shooting. Now why the two stars. The employees here are lazy and the level of coverage both visually and area-wise is both lazy and inadequate. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. They clearly are hiring college students who don't care. They are on their phones, talking to one another and completely oblivious to the safety of the children. There was a young child playing right under the swing on a ninja warrior course and she could have gotten a concussion. The employees sit right in front of the entrance to the trampoline and do not move for kids. They keep talking and make the kids walk over them. There are more than two kids at a time allowed on any obstacle of a ropes course. I've been on others and that's expressly forbidden. Kids are trying to strap themselves into the climbing apparatus. I wouldn't post such words if I didn't have pictures to reinforce them. I won't post them, but just know that this place is a safety hazard because of what employees are allowed to get away with. An older kid will be fine here because they have the decision making skills to be a little safer. But younger kids will be in danger. read more

I don't get it. My kids had fun, but none of the three words in the name of the place came to mind when we were there. First, if you think a nearby trampoline park is a hike and kind of in a marginal area, hooboy are you in for a drive and a dusting of concrete on the way to this place. (It's a beautiful building at the edge of a bunch of trades with concrete and gravel trucks flying around the corners. It's a weaving way off of 95.) Given the glittery fuss surrounding this facility I anticipated something else upon arrival. We explored only the climbing room on this trip. The water park is closed for the entire week before Labor Day (the last week of summer for many kids) for maintenance. So half of our trip could not happen. When you enter, you'll be directed to climb down the stairs to a lower floor where the climbing stuff is. There is an elevator but it is outside the entrance around the corner so if you have mobility issues you might need to leave the main climbing place entrance and go around to an elevator (which was not offered). They have very social media friendly graphics on the wall when you enter so you can let everyone know you were there - but they failed to size them so they'll fit in a photo when taken smooshed up against the facing wall so your cute pics will have cut off backgrounds. Just a lack of thinking it through. Downstairs I was surprised that there are just a couple of activities in a space not much bigger than a kangaroo climbing kind of place that's more convenient to us. They have Nerf guns (I was pelted a few times as I sat near the structure), a couple of netted climbing structures, and in between there is one strip of rock wall and a couple of tall climbing towers. That's basically it. The one to the right reminded me of the mousy cheese pizza place's raised climber. Adjacent there is add on virtual reality payable for about $1/minute. Hands down the biggest surprise for me was the complete lack of thought about accompanying adults. The website says come sit down and enjoy our wifi buuuuut, that's only going to cut it for parent who is not trying to work or a stressed out sitter. There is no way to work from here. The adult seating is some squishy cutesy gym mat polygon or a handful of chairs. There is nowhere to make a phone call. Nowhere to place a laptop. Nowhere to charge your phone. When this place opened I thought it might be a good spot for telework days, but no way. There is a cafe in the building but it is way far away outside doors and up a floor from this kid-friendly room. Not a viable option for getting an hour's work done while the kids play. The wifi wouldn't connect for me initially. I finally got it to work myself but there was no info about wifi, no help with it, no concept really amongst the staff wearing TEAM tees that an adult might want to get some work done on a weekday. I wish they'd figure it out because I hope that this place can make it. An unwelcoming drive in, meh greeting, schlepping down the stairs, and absolutely nothing for accompanying adults in the climbing area were all fails. Oh! And we were VERY fortunate that there were only a couple dozen kids there and 12-15 adults. If it were any more full I would have done better at the mouse pizza place for the money. (And I hate that place.) read more

*This review is only for the "Super Awesome & Amazing" section of St. James gym I really wanted to like this place since I had heard positive things about it from friends...but I found it lacking in several areas. It's a new venue and it was obvious that it's a work in progress. There was no real seating for the parents - just some cushions against a wall and in the middle of the play area. The bathrooms were down a dark unlit hallway, toilets barely flushed, and there were no hooks to hang a purse/diaper bag. The trampoline area needs clear "Entrance/Exit" signs. There are no age/height requirements but I found that most of the activities were too difficult or my 6 yo. I would recommend it for kids that are at least 8 yo. There were 3 rock-climbing structures which were too difficult for her to climb. The ropes course was ok but very small. There was another area with a duck target game (?) that was not working properly. There's a playground/maze area which she didn't want to go in for fear of getting shot by nerf guns. It can be fun for (older) kids but in my opinion, it wasn't worth the money or the drive... read more

Advise you skip Super Awesome Amazing during the summer. The place is over run by day camps. No boundaries, lots of noise and nearly impossible to enjoy. We purchased 3 30 min VR sessions for $63. No mention or sign was posted making us aware of the day camps. Had to wait for campers (age 6? maybe 7?) to cycle through 3 VR bays (one was closed) before we could access VR and at that point only 2 of the 3 of us could get access to a VR bay. The two that played had kids hollering "directions" from the sidelines constantly (no chaperone). Had to ask staff to get a wipe for the VR gear when it was our turn. Requested a refund for the person unable to get on the VR (unless we had an extra hour to wait around for the campers to finish) and was told no refunds. Absolutely ridiculous from a business management/customer satisfaction point of view but also as a parent would NEVER send my kids to a day camp knowing they would spend as much time as they like in a VR world. I inquired at the desk and was told that day campers had no restrictions for use of equipment or time limits. It's a mad house. We've been supportive of The SJ previously - very disappointed in how this upscale sports venue has now become a day camp without boundaries. read more

Worst Experience ever , I don't even know where to begin with this place . Just know you will not have a good time , employees were clueless of the kids being injured , Slides,Trampolines,and Ninja Course equipment were disgusting and not clean what so ever and not watched after by any employees. At the Jungle gym center , it was clearly unkept and featured broken nerf guns with practically no bullets anywhere. I won't even begin to ramble about the,"Trampoline Park," that was 4 squares of loose trampolines that my baby brother described to me felt like, "He Could Fall Through At Any Point." The employees were talking together and completely distracted by their phones and had no regard for the safety of any kids and weren't even present at any stations. The kids looked bored and claim it was the worst time they ever had . I'm 16 and was so disappointed when I decided to take my baby brother here for his Birthday. I have never seen him and his friends so bored and annoyed while being somewhere . They couldn't pay me to bring anyone here or even step foot in this place again (I say this because it's small and reeks of a repulsive odor).
