I had a horrible experience yesterday. I've been here several times before, but this was by far the…read moreworst pedicure I have ever received. It seems like the salon may have been testing out a new employee on paying customers, and that is completely unacceptable. If you are going to train or test a new person, that should be done on staff members, not customers who are paying full price for a professional service. The pedicure was not done as described on the menu for the service I selected. When I got home, I noticed I still had a lot of dead skin on my feet, which should have been removed during the pedicure. On top of that, the nail polish application looked terrible. The whole service took two hours, which is way too long for a pedicure. It was obvious something was wrong, and the managers were walking around the entire time. I do not understand why no one stepped in to check on the situation or correct it before I had to bring it to their attention myself. I told the manager the service was unacceptable. The amount of time it took, the poor polish application, and the fact that I was still charged regular price made the whole experience even worse. Manager then had someone else correct polish. Customers should not be used to train new employees while still being expected to pay full price. It is unfair and unprofessional.

This was actually my second time giving them a second chance -- and I was pleasantly surprised! I've been getting my nails done by V, and I highly recommend her if you're looking for professional, high-quality work. She's also amazing at nail art -- very detailed and creative. I also got a pedicure, and I was super impressed. They actually took the time to remove all the dead skin from my feet (which was gross, but so needed). Most places just kind of rub it around and move on, but they were really thorough here -- major points for that! The atmosphere is clean and relaxing, the staff is kind, and they even offer a complimentary drink. I went with the Vietnamese iced coffee, which I absolutely adore. All in all, I'll definitely be back!

PROS: The employees are so sweet, and this salon was very accommodating when I came to see if they had any walk-in availability. CONS: They definitely didn't properly remove my Gel-X set. I made sure to ask at the front desk first if they could do it at all, and the receptionist confirmed that they could. But long after I left the salon, I noticed I still had a lot of Gel-X residue on, and several have peeled off and damaged my nails in the process. I personally couldn't tell while I was still at the salon, or else I would have informed my tech at the time.

I went in for a refill. My nails were all ready growing out so I wanted to keep the length. She even asked me if I wanted to cut or keep it and I said keep. I was very specific that I want my nails thin and not very curved. She grinds almost all of what I have on my nails already and it was too much cause my nail bed started to burn. She grounded and filed all my length down and my nails are now shorter than when I walked in there. I grabbed the file and showed her how I wanted my nail shaped cause one side was round and the other hand a point. The kid's chairs are located in a back room that uses to be what they called a "man cave". Looks like this place used to be a bar because there are several bars throughout. Lots of salon chairs, chic decor and they even have a bead fish pond on the floor as you walk in. A little on the pricey side but I truly enjoyed my pedicure. Vy was super sweet and did a great job overall on my pedi. I asked for clear nail polish and they ended up buffing my nails which turned out nice so I just went with it and it would have taken longer as well.
