As a licensed aesthetician, I know that the proper way to walk someone is first cleanse the skin with witch hazel and then put baby powder to make sure the wax does not stick too much to the skin. Well I don't typically wax I get threaded but there's nowhere in Tomball to get threaded, so I settled with waxing right before an event. I went in the place looked nice and clean. I was seen right away. When the lady started dipping into the wax I asked her if she could cleanse my skin first she looked annoyed went to the back room and grab some sort of facial towelettes that look like the ones you use for make up removal. I thought strange that they don't just have some witch hazel. After she cleansed my lip she immediately put on the wax my heart stopped because I was like oh my god where is the baby powder. But by then it was too late. One minute after I was waxed I knew I was burned. The skin was raw and fresh. It was really red but I knew it was gonna look even worse in the following days. I went back and after 10 minutes because my lip was on fire and asked for more aloe. I got another annoyed look and a small squirt of aloe. Honestly I should ask for my money back but I know how that goes in these kind of places. Won't bother. Moral of the story to the owners: I know it's not typical protocol for these kind of nail salons, because sure maybe most people skin is not this sensitive . But you definitely need to have some witch hazel and baby powder in case somebody is sensitive. If you have sensitive skin I really recommend either going somewhere with that waxes correctly or just pray to God that they come up with a threading salon somewhere.

PROS: The employees are so sweet, and this salon was very accommodating when I came to see if they had any walk-in availability. CONS: They definitely didn't properly remove my Gel-X set. I made sure to ask at the front desk first if they could do it at all, and the receptionist confirmed that they could. But long after I left the salon, I noticed I still had a lot of Gel-X residue on, and several have peeled off and damaged my nails in the process. I personally couldn't tell while I was still at the salon, or else I would have informed my tech at the time.

The pedicure went fine, but the manicure was a nightmare. The nail tech did not apply any oil before cuticle care and aggressively pushed and cut my cuticles while dry--to the point where I was bleeding. I told her it hurt, but she continued. Then, when it was time for polish, I confirmed again that I was getting a Gel extension manicure. Instead of applying extensions, she painted my nails with gel. When I asked what was going on, I was then told they didn't offer Gel extensions and that I would have to remove what they had just applied and switch to Dip extensions instead. Had they told me this upfront, I would have chosen differently, but at that point, I just wanted to salvage the experience. Unfortunately, the rest of the Dip manicure was just as rough and painful as the cuticle care. What was supposed to be a relaxing self-care day with my mom turned into such a stressful experience that I started crying in the salon. To make matters worse, when I went to pay, they tried to charge me $103--despite the fact that my hands were visibly cut and I was pressured into a service I never asked for. When I complained, they told me I "should have spoken up earlier" and only gave me a 10% discount. What makes this experience even worse is the complete lack of accountability from the salon. Instead of acknowledging their mistakes--like failing to inform me about the lack of Gel extensions, causing visible injuries to my cuticles, and pressuring me into a different service--they blamed me for not speaking up sooner. But how could I have known they didn't offer the service I booked until they were already halfway through my manicure? A good salon should prioritize customer comfort, transparency, and proper technique--none of which I experienced here. I left feeling physically hurt, emotionally drained, and completely disrespected as a paying customer. If you're looking for a relaxing and professional nail experience, this is not the place. Save yourself the stress (and the cuts) and go somewhere that actually cares about its clients.

The kid's chairs are located in a back room that uses to be what they called a "man cave". Looks like this place used to be a bar because there are several bars throughout. Lots of salon chairs, chic decor and they even have a bead fish pond on the floor as you walk in. A little on the pricey side but I truly enjoyed my pedicure. Vy was super sweet and did a great job overall on my pedi. I asked for clear nail polish and they ended up buffing my nails which turned out nice so I just went with it and it would have taken longer as well.

The woman who worked on my feet was very kind and did an amazing massage and pedicure. However she was not very skilled at the French tip design I requested and some toes came out a bit crooked . The woman who was doing the other clients nails paused fixed my toes and added my Rhinestones . Great toes are done ...but i still have to wait for her to finish the other client's nails and it's now 6:35 . I really wanted to like this place as I do like the staff just not sure about the work unfortunately
