I pass by this salon on my way home from work. I live in Woodstock, but I had kind of gotten over the level of service I received from the staff. I have a regular salon I go to, but I was so embarrassed by how long I had let my feet go, that I decided to come here where the appearance of my feet would be the baseline. I say this as I shake my head at myself. I have been so busy working almost 50 hours a week and my weekends are packed. I felt so bad for the new guy that had to tackle my nasty feet. Yes, I would later find out he was new. I feel rude because I am making phone calls during a pedicure but again, my workplace has nowhere private to make a phone call. It's absolutely ridiculous. However, it's totally fine if my nail techs get all the tea.
My toe nails were nasty, grown out like talons, and I had not had the chance to shave my legs in weeks. I had an important dinner in a few days and this was the only time I had to get it out of the way. You know what? I was treated without judgement, and my feet turned out great. When I even picked the color for my toes, I barely cared what color. Literally anything was going to be better than what I had going on. After what felt like hours, my feet had a new lease on life. The staff performed a miracle. Ladies, if you're looking for a low-key place to get a quick mani/pedi then come here. The shop is not fancy but the level of care is, and that's what matters. By the time I had dinner on Sunday evening, my feet looked even better with my legs shaved. Go ahead and laugh. I am. Thank you, Sky Nail Spa! read more
