Other carriers have no problem leaving non-signature packages in a concealed (or, hell, right in the middle of the porch); so even if they *were* actually showing up, I'm not sure how this system would be better. Unless we were living in the city, where the chance of theft might be high. Which we're not. I've had issues with Ontrac in the past (the time the driver literally threw a package over our tall courtyard fence in Sacramento? Ah, the memories), and thought that's where they'd stay. It looks like accurate shipping estimates are a thing of the past. ETA: I'm giving an extra star for the quick resolution of this particular incident. Though, given history and other reviews, I might be gun-shy about retaining orders that promise to ship via this carrier.

Talked to the owner of Curtin Trucking Company, and he blamed us for not properly packaging them. our products got unwrapped from the pallet during the unloading and reloading and handling by the driver and fell loose in the truck. Their truck was so dirty that the products also got dirty and our customer couldn't get them cleaned with soap and water. The owner wasn't willing to do anything for us to make us happy. He said there is nothing that he can do for us although we were his regular customer for almost a year.

They told me I took too long to call back and they would not be able to deliver the package for an addition 7 days. Avoid this company if possible.
