Overpriced & extremely underwhelming taste . Had a to go plate from the buffet was charged $31 . While placing the food in the plate one of the owners began to hover . FYI if wanted to be policed I'd commit crimes. None the only crime that was apparent was serv that and calling it food. read more

We went here and ate buffet. Was not impressed at all. I've been told by friends it's better to order at the drive thru, have yet to try.

We ordered 4 different dishes at this restaurant. The broccoli was basically raw in the dishes that had it. The rice looks like it isn't plain, but tastes plain. There was a really wild amount of grease in all of our dishes. You could see the oil separated on top of the sauces. For 2 adults and 2 kids we paid around $40 to have the type of gastrointestinal issues we could've guessed would be coming with such oil. Can't comment much on sauce flavor, it was hard for any of us to taste anything with the oil. The food was hot so I gave 2 stars. I can't recommend, especially with the prices. read more

It's time for a 2019 review. The food is delicious, the customer service is great, every time my parents ask me what I want to eat, it's this place. However, my grandma and I went out here one time and there was a HAIR in the rice that wasn't mine. The rice does need to be cooked longer though, and the bananas in the strawberry sauce are very good; but the bananas look disgustingly brown. Maybe it's just the cold touching the bananas, but it still looks terrible. I get the orange chicken every time and the sauce is so delicious I could have it 24/7 if i could. Definitely go here. This was my second and last time eating at Sky Dragon,I gave them a second chance before posting a bad review because every restaurant can have an off day. The chicken on the buffet was dry, chewy, and cold. The noodles were soggy and gross. The cashew sauce was as thin as the watery egg drop soup. There was a fly in the sweet and sour sauce. The egg rolls and crab rangoons were cold and rock hard. The broccoli in any of the dishes that contained broccoli was so undercooked it was practically raw. The waitress was rude and never checked to see if refills were needed, we had to take our glasses to to counter to ask for refills each time. To add insult to injury, the play a crappy redneck tear in my beer country station (commercials and all) at a blaring volume. When asked if they could change the music or at the very least turn it down to a reasonable volume, they refused despite there only being two parties in the restaurant. It was so loud that it made it hard to have polite meal conversation across the table without being drowned out by music glorifying drunkenness and sexism. This place sucks. Maybe the fact that there was only one other table of customers during lunch time should have been a clue. read more

1/2015 This was a 5 star review as you can see below. I enjoyed having a good Chinese place right here in Rogersville. However, in January 2015 I got an order of Cashew and General chicken from the drive through that was medium rare. Many pieces were cold, pink, and inedible. The historical experience here could normally allow forgiveness of simple errors but uncooked chicken just doesn't work. I cannot go back here ever again. 9/28/2014 Having lived in Springfield for many years I was skeptical of this place when I moved here. However, they are always consistently good Chinese food. They have a wide variety of menu items ranging from your standard Springfield style dishes to traditional Chinese cuisine. Their egg drop soup is some of the best around. Being one of the few sit down restaurants in Rogersville also helps them. The drive through is always fast and friendly but they also have a buffet inside. Both are great! If your around and need a sit down place to eat, I would definitely recommend this place. read more

If it wasn't for the cashew chicken and the way the chicken is breaded and fried ... I would have walked out! Nasty, nasty, nasty! Food was old, cold, and even the egg rolls were hard & stale. =( Sorry excuse for crab rangoon & pretty sure there wasn't even a hint of imitation crab in it. Literally maybe 1/2 a tsp of cream cheese but aside from that it had to have been sitting there for hours! The salad bar & again cashew chicken was the BEST thing here to eat but don't think I'll ever waste another $ in this place again! Beware peeps! Make the extra 15 min drive to Springfield to eat some decent chinese or heck go to Lamberts... same price & WAY better quality food! Thumbs DOWN! P.S. I felt super sick after eating here..... As for the generals, lemon, orange chicken.. all tasted the same & the generals chicken was just down right disappointing and overly sweet! I thought general's chicken had spice to it? I've eaten the buffet here several times. If it were up to me I wouldn't go back (since one of the folks who pick this place had gastrointestinal distress afterwards I probably won't be back). The food isn't hot and seems like it has been sitting out for some time. The waitress is nice but the food is bad. It looks like they just use the same fried chicken chunks and put different sauces (although they don't taste that different) on them. read more

I stopped in on my way to Denver Colorado and just by luck found this place I love Chinese food but most the time I have hard time finding parking but was I lucky I was able to pull through the Hardee's and park out of the way and when I parked there was sky dragon lit up like a Christmas tree I read some reviews but the reviews doesn't do this place justice I don't know if maybe the couple who wrote the review were having marriage problems and took it out on this place but me tell you start with the waitress sweet girl and so polite and always at my table checking on me I ordered orange chicken and some rice along with some noodles with beef and pork don't be scared by what someone else said very clean and awesome food and the size of the portion was great my waitress cute little blonde Sydney was a sweetheart and very professional and wonderful server I will for sure be back read more

This is not a good restaurant, the buffet sucks so I decided to try the drive through. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, the chicken wasn't even fully cooked. And the sauce tasted absolutely disgusting. And the egg roll was tiny, I'm never going back. read more

Never gotten the buffet, but have eaten here a couple of times with consistent results. Lo mein doesn't look great, but is tasty. Chicken is crispy, and I recommend the all white meat. Fried rice is a tad undercooked. Good Crab Rangoon and egg rolls. Overall, we eat here because it's convenient. Not the best chinese we've had, but not the worst! They use a ton of sauce and it always leaks. Wish they put the food in a paperbag and then in a plastic bag to keep it horizontal. read more

Alright food. Nothing special but it gets the job done

Sky Dragon has had a lot of changes recently and the kitchen has had major improvements. The food is being made to order now and the buffet is being changed out at correct times now too. It is very nice to see the owner stepped up and made the changes and spent the money to improve the place. My food was very good today and so were the other 6 orders we bought. We made all kinds of requests and no one made any fuss or comments about our special requests. It was very clean inside. The staff was very friendly with big smiles everywhere. Service was as fast as it could be for our special requests and made to order foods, about 20 mins. which isn't bad at all for 7 all different orders. If you have given up on this place now is the time to give it another shot, it's worth it. read more

To say this is the best Chinese food you're ever had is just pathetic. Anything from the drive thru is either precooked and microwaved or taken off the buffet. If they are busy and the buffet is regularly replenished then it is alright. Almost everything is chicken and their Cashew, like all the other options, has no real flavor. People say that it is good because there are no other options in town. Think about the best Chinese food or Springfield style cashew chicken you've had and this shouldn't even come close. We need to stop settling for mediocre. read more

Hey the drive up window is my favorite call ahead or order at the menu. And get hot fresh made to order food. And yes I have been in all parts of the building except the ladies room. I love chinese food but Sky Dragon is not the place to go unless you live in Rogersville and dont have the time or urge to drive into Springfield. The prices are so-so, the service is adequate... Originating on the East Coast, it is nearly impossible to find good chinese food in this area... Sky Dragon is probably the bottom choice, but considering the restaurant choices in Rogersville... you can deal with it once in a while. read more
