My daughter wasn't feeling well so we thought we would try this place and get her a wanton soup here so we got it to go ... he said please wait 15 to 20 minutes. So when my husband brought it to me, I cannot believe how tiny it was. It was in a 12 oz Styrofoam cup it wasn't even full. I mean they didn't even hardly meet the 2/3 mark. It was 6.00 out the door ! I was still in the parking lot and asked if we could just give it right back and get our money back. He said no. I was pretty bummed out because it's unpresentable. I'm embarrassed to give it to my daughter because we've had such great wonton soup in the past at other restaurants and they put it in a really nice styrofoam small bucket . But when I got home and put it in a bowl and it was nothing but broth and two tiny fried wontons and a speck of green onion and 2 mushrooms . I was livid. I don't usually write bad reviews but I wanted to warn people. Do not get the wonton soup. I took pictures . That's so wonderful I am able to add these pictures. It will 100 % percent proof of what I'm telling you. The picture of the soup is in a very small Chinese Bowl. It also had 2 pot stickers instead of wontons. One had no meat ! Food honestly wasn't that great and we literally waited 45min for food to get done. Small dining room also.

Looks are deceiving. Small place, but very clean. This restaurant has delicious food at a great price. They are efficient and get the food out in a timely fashion. Call before you go as they have been closed sporadically. read more

There was honest to gosh 1 person working there and it took FOREVER to get our food, meanwhile a customer call to get a refund on the meal they just picked up because they were dissatisfied. They just need to be closed if they don't have enough people to operate their business. read more

We were traveling and looking for a light dinner. This place was perfect! Very small and not busy. I had the fried rice with chicken, beef and shrimp which was fresh and delicious. My husband enjoyed his beef and mushroom dish. The owners were attentive and nice and the service was quick. It was also a very good value. read more

We stopped in last night at 5:45 wifey felt like some Chinese. That quickly changed. The lady behind the counter was on the phone completed the order greeted us and it went downhill from there. We were about to place our order and the phone rang again and she picked it up and took the order, Then I take out customer came in to get the order whilst on the phone she turned and picked up the order and handed it over. We stayed long enough to tell her that this is not a restaurant it's a takeout joint and a service sucks I don't care how good the food is the customer does NOT come first. Will never go back. If that is how they treat the customer we want no part of perusing the food. #neveragain. read more

This is a hidden gem in Marshfield. The owner seems to work alone and it's never too busy, which means when you order, your food is hot and fresh. Good prices for the amount of food given and in and out the door in less than 10 minutes. Easily a weekly stop for our family. read more

We usually get food here at least once every couple weeks, if not more, and it was our favorite in town. Tonight they messed up our order and gave us all wontons rather than crab rangoon (we always order extra crab rangoon and did tonight as well). We went back not 20 minutes later and the guy refused to admit he was the one who made the mistake and charged us another $7 for the correct portion of our order. I really hope that $7 was worth losing regular customers good, because we are never going back to Hunan Garden. There are several other Chinese restaurants in town that'll love our business. read more
