We used their service for many years and no problem. We sent a box to zamboanga in Nov. 2024. I called every two weeks no retun calls. I finally spoke with Zenaida in March 2025 and she said she would call me back. I spoke to her again in April twice. I already went home to Zamboanga in October 2025 and no box. Aky Freight is ok. But Sky Balikbayan boxes is a disaster! I didn't know they were 2 different companies until I read the disclaimer of the owner of Sky Freight. I sent boxes through them a couple of times and they were very efficient (I would even recommend them to my friends), until the other year, it took more than 5 months for my boxes to reach the consignee. I sent 2 boxes a year ago, June 19, 2024, and they haven't arrived up to now. Mrs. Zenaida used to answer my calls but doesn't return my calls anymore for over 4 months now. This is a scammer company I send my two boxes last July 20,2024 and promised to be delivered in Cebu after two months. I arrived Cebu October and no boxes delivered. I called them to make a follow up and said call back first week of november. Called back again but it's very stressing nobody answer calls. I came back to California and kept calling all numbers I got from Skyfreight and even called the Manila numbers but no one answers or the mail box is full that you cannot even leave a voicemail. I went to their office in Imperial highway just few days ago January 15,2025 but it is already closed. Sky Freight employees do not call you back timely when you have a question about delivery problem. They are good at picking up shipment but the customer care is pretty bad. It's a nightmare to follow up missing boxes or undelivered boxes. You don't feel confident that your boxes will reach destination. There is always an anxiety until your recipient receives it. They often deliver your boxes incomplete and you spend too much time following up. Worst thing they don't respond on time. You always leave a message and they are prompt to return your call when your message is about pick up. Wish they can improve their service. read more

To Cherry F. I am also thinking of filing a complaint. I will keep you informed on what right government agency to complain this forwarding company. This freight forwarding company should be shut down permanently to prevent them from duping us Filipinos who work hard to save money so we can buy stuffs like canned foods, medicines, clothes, etc., that will at least can help our relatives back home. A week ago our relatives informed us that they finally received the box. It took about six months for the box to be delivered. Issue would have been mitigated if only they will let us know why there was a delay. It's been 6 months since I sent the box to Leyte. My brother hasn't received it yet. I called here in the US and my brother called their branch in Manila. First they answered the phone and assured us that it's going to arrive soon and there has been a delay of shipment. Later on, they won't even answer the phone anymore. Six months is too long. I'm concerned that it had been lost , stolen or sold. It hurts to think that my brother may not get the balikbayan box that I sent through this company. Please people, look for other companies if you send to the Philippines like Umac( the one I used before and regret not using it this time), Atlas or Forex. I've tried these three companies. After 5 long months, the box finally arrived and DAMAGED due to some object piercing through it and damaging the contents of the box. Looks like the SkyFreight equipment like a manual forklift pierced through it. Contents are canned goods and Christmas presents like shirts and clothes. read more

CONS - Long trransit - Mine was finally received by my family in the Phillipines after 2 months and 23 days (Usual transit times about 1 to 1 1/2 months) - No tracking provided. Unlike other cargo services that provide tracking. They do not. - Poorly handled of goods. My Package arrived in a very poor condition. This is te worst freight ever. No wonder they are cheaper by $20 compared to other freight. I just tried this company cuz I was recommended but it turned out this company can never be trusted. And that my box never got to my city in a timely manner. It's almost 3 months, the hasn't box has arrived yet and it's almost mother's day. Customer service is so poor and staff doesn't know anything. I would suggest better to go to other companies like LBC and Alas because they are realiable especially if boxes are sent to the provinces. My boxes where picked up last November 2022. It was my first time na magpadala dito sa company na to dahil halos lahat dito sa bahay sa sky freight nagpapadala. Pro dissapoinnents lang pla mapapala ko. Hanggang ngayon wala pa yung boxes ko more than 6 months na. Mali pa yung address na nasa system nila. Tinawag ko yun pina correct ko ulit ulit pako sabi ok na daw yung address sa syatem nila na pag type ng invoice number ko mali pa din. I tried calling them many times lagi nilang sinasabi next week naiintindihan ko yung sa customs na sabi nila pinag initan sila. Pro yung dumating na sa warehouse daw nila at umpisa na ng delivery ng may 12 eh may 24 na ngayon. Tumawag ako dun sa number nila sa pinas sabi wednesday daw ginagarantiya na darating, tapos mismo wednesday tumawag ako susunod na wednesday na naman daw. Lokohan na to hindi na tama. read more

When they picked up boxes we were told 6 weeks, 2/24. It is now 5/16. I called several weeks ago and was told should be 5/15. On 5/16 i was told next week. These people do not know what they are doing. Cargo got to Manila but Manila did not off load. Sky Freight took 4-1/2 months to deliver my balikbayan box to Metro Manila. The box finally arrived just a few days before I was returning to the US. I discovered that some items were missing from my box. Upon returning the US, I sent a text to Skyfreight to complain about the missing items, but I received no response whatsoever.
