I had a very disappointing experience. After my order was recorded, I realized they forgot my hush puppies. When I went back to the counter to let the young woman know, she immediately acted like I was lying. I had to take everything out of the bag to prove they were missing. Only then did she notify the kitchen staff. Not only was the situation frustrating and embarrassing, but I also had to wait an additional five minutes while the rest of my food got cold. Was told Yes. Drove 2 miles to the hotel. Guess what. No cocktail sauce. Screw you Skrimp Shack. Do better. Plus I ordered the 8 piece shrimp add on and only got 5. I drove 25 minutes to get here and at 8:20 I ordered my food. St 8:25pm after I pay and placed the order, I am told the grill closed at 8:00 pm when the restaurant closes at 9:00pm. I can't eat fried food because of my diet. So the order was cancelled and hopefully my card will be refunded. It's terrible that the grill closed an hour before the restaurant. I wonder if that's their policy from corporate office. She even took back the two cups of tea that came with the order and threw them away. read more

Just left Shrimp Shack on Main street in Suffolk. I placed my order but the cashier failed to mention that there wasn't any ice in the building. After walking around the corner to see the sign on the machine (no ice) I proceeded to the cash register for a refund. The manager Bri comes to the from with an attitude. When I asked could I ask her a question she got loud and started yelling about my refund. At this point I want a full refund because of her tone and if she is suppposed to be representing the company as the manager, she needs to be fired. He even told me that he "weighed" ithimself.from what I see this is not an appropriate serving of fish. I do not consider two bites a serving. Other customers in the restaurant also agreed. The food here is not cheap, so don't insult my intelligence by calling this a serving. The other issue was that instead of the manager trying to make the customer happy, he felt that he should argue with me over the portion size. I got the fish tacos and was not impressed. This was my first time eating here, it was fairly busy so I had high hopes. Got mahi mahi fish and it was as bland as a rice cake. Rude, poor customer service. Main Street store was not accepting any more customers at 8:40 pm. Worker said they close at 9. I asked worker to ask his manager why he's refusing to serve customers. The manager came out to yell from the counter that the fryers were already turned off and other waiting customers had already ordered their food. That worker also stated he's off duty too-like that changes poor service to customers while wearing the store uniform. Be sure to go earlier that a hour before closing so you can place your order. this is stereotypical of a small country business that isn't trying give good service, grow or gain new customers. read more

I ordered through door dash and when I received items I was missing the pudding. I also paid extra for lettuce, tomato and cheese I didn't receive that. When I called to question it manager was very rude basically saying if I couldn't come get it there was nothing she could do. So much for the bad grammar. My wife and I ordered the Whiting fish sandwich and I got a side of the clam chowder. The sandwich was ginormous. The clam chowder was as good if not better than I've had anywhere. Since we're old people, we are able to make two meals out of what we had today. Now the lunch was a bit pricey... $28 for two people. But considering the fact, that I am going to get two meals out of the deal, that makes it a bit more reasonable. Capacious portions... Friendly staff... And clean surroundings. The only negative... Flies. We spent the entire luncheon trying to keep them off the food and the table. It looked like one of the plagues of Egypt was descending on this place. The fly nuisance is what kept me from giving them five stars. read more
