Let's start with the good - friendly staff, hot honey sauce for the wings was very tasty. Fries…read morewere well cooked and seasoned. Sadly, the long wait for food hasn't changed. The wings were way overdone and cold when they arrived - I've had beef jerky that was more tender. Somehow, they were still tasty - just really hard to chew - anyone who has had dental work - beware! Burgers were well seasoned but also waaaaaaay over cooked - imagine the patty well done then cooked a couple more times just to make sure it was really dead. Maybe I needed to specify I prefer my burger slightly juicy when I placed the order? I will say this - the place looked clean. Their ketchup bottles were labeled with dates showing when the bottles were opened. The soda machines looked clean and counters/tables did as well. I don't think the $54 bill was reflected in the quality of food. So sad. I was hoping this one was going to be a winner.

Talk about old school. This was an interesting discovery. There are several buildings including a…read moreFarmers market so I wasn't sure where the restaurant was. I went in the Farmer's Market first. It looks like an old barn. There were lots and lots of homemade choices- "canned" soup bases, fruits, vegetables, salsas, jams, flavored oils to name a few. There were also fresh fruits, nuts, honey, vegetables, dairy products and cakes. There are four areas you can eat. The main "restaurant" is small with only a few tables. Evidently it's a favorite of older local gentlemen to gather for an early breakfast. There is also the "Pig Sty," "The Chicken Coop" and the farmer's market area. Some of these can be cold in the winter and warm in the summer so dress accordingly. The farmer's market area is heated by a wood stove. The staff here are so friendly. It felt like we were visiting family. The food was good ole country food. The hubby and I each ordered the breakfast plate. I had coffee with my choice of several flavored creamers. If you pay in cash you get a discount. If you are in the area you should check it out. You can order from the breakfast or lunch menu. Plan to stay a few extra minutes and look around and support local farmers. We brought home some boiled peanuts. Fun experience and good breakfast.
