She knew exactly what to add to the gown (straps, belt) and took my feedback and what I liked and adapted throughout the appointment. I felt so supported and beautiful the ENTIRE time. The gown selection was one of the best I have seen, and they had a wide variety of sizes which I appreciated to really see how the gown will look in real life. When ordering the dress, staff got my color wrong and almost ordered the wrong dress. luckily I caught it. Then told me the dress wasn't out of stock 1 day after telling me there were 3 left in stock. I knew this had to be a mistake and ended up having to talk to 3 different staff members before they could find the correct dress in stock. Now it's a month before my wedding and my wedding dress is literally falling apart at the seams. This should not be happening on a $2,000 dollar dress. I called the store to see what could be done and was informed that nothing could be done and I have to pay to get it fixed myself. As the lady on the phone told me this she did not sound sorry at all and was rather quite rude about it. I am not a fan of people who call businesses just to yell. So I calmly explained the problem and asked what could be done. Imagine my surprise when they informed me they would do nothing about the $2,000 dress falling apart. It was no longer their problem. Service is where they really stood out. When I explained the situation, they promised to put a rush on the tailoring in case events happened more quickly than expected. Turns out, hours later I was calling as she'd passed away, with still unclear timeline on services and when I'd need to travel to be at them. Luckily, it turns out the rush was no joke. Less than 6 hours after getting fitted for the new suit, I was picking it up from Mr. B's. Everyone there knew of my situation and was there to make sure everything turned out perfect. Fit was fantastic, and they were careful to make sure I'd considered all the accessories I needed to go with it. This service was really beyond what I could have dreamed of. Years ago, I noticed that the dress shirts I wore for work that continued to stay in my rotation and I received the most compliments on were all from Backroom/Henry's. Their service is always the best, and you truly get your money's worth. I'm in the process of rebuilding my wardrobe following my weight loss and Henry's/Mr. B will be my primary source for any categories they offer.
