Found them in local downriver magazine. This was the second electrical company I called after the first one never responded. My call was returned, the guy was polite and asked what I needed. He told me to text him my address and he would get back with me. I sent him several texts and never got a response at all. Don't know why. Moving on with another on my list. read more

He brought in his crew and they are very good guys , communication was good , price is competitive , you have to tell them what you looking for to the detail . This is from January 2022. Every site keeps revoking my review. Had these guys out for a subpanel installed into my attached garage about 40ft from my main panel in my basement and a 240 line ran from the subpanel to a ceiling mounted heater. Almost 2 hours late. Made a mess of my hardwood floors and carpet by tracking in snow and dirt. SubPanel is crooked and not level. 240 line to heater they installed looks like crap. Hole in wall going from basement to garage to run the sub panel wires is not sealed. Can see in the basement from garage. Didn't clean up mess from drilling hole to the garage or the holes in the floor joists in the basement. Charged for outlets when I said I would do them myself. I missed part of the quote that said "Install new 20 amp circuit from sub panel in garage for couple of outlets." I told him before the quote that I would be running the outlets because I wasn't sure where I wanted them to be yet. When asked he told me that I was not charged for the outlets and that he would come out and run them whenever I figure out where I want them. He said I wasn't charged for them but why would he be willing to come out and install and run wire for a couple outlets without charging me. I figured out where I wanted them and contacted him on the following Thursday. He said that he would be here on the following Monday to run and install the outlets. No call, no show. I waited 7 days and tried to get ahold of him with no response. Waited another 7 days and contacted him and he said he would be out the following Monday. I asked if I could just get my money back that was going to be used for running and installing the outlets but was just ignored. While everything works fine, I feel that I was ripped off and charged way too much for the job and the sub par quality. I had to spend even more money and spend a couple hours running the outlet circuits myself. read more

Contacted "SK Electric" last week.. He'd given me a date (but no time) as to when he could come out and do the work. (Installing a 220 line)Was asked by the owner to text him my information. I also asked for an approximate cost. The day before my appointment I sent that same owner a text asking for a time. No response. I called towards the end of the business day and was told btwn 9-10 am. At 11:45 I had to call and ask if he was still coming. Having to go over again what I'm having him come out and do only added to my annoyance. Within an hour they were at the house. The gentleman in installing the plug (active wires were already In place) was very nice, friendly and professional. The cost was NO WHERE near what I was quoted. When I called the owner, he chuckled as I repeated our conversation and the quote. Stated he'd never do the kind of work I was asking for that low of a price. Now, while I feel the quote was extremely low, the new amount was 3.5 x what I was given. Owner.... Be up front. Let people know what to expect when contacting your company. Your website does show "Free Estimates" Person answering the phone, less than stellar customer service. They may have done good work but they came across as being very disorganized. read more

Quoted a price prior to arrival, I called and scheduled the service. Crew arrived at my house and said our quote did not include materials... Who quotes a job and does not include materials? Then proceeded to quote double the price. I don't recommend anyone use them as they quoted a price originally to get the job and tried to jack the price once they arrived on site. read more

Honest, fair priced, and prompt. Can't ask for much more than that. I remodel homes and have been through about half a dozen electricians. SK is my new go too guy. The owner brad was really nice and I look forward to working with him and his team in the future. read more

I called to set up an estimate. I set up a estimate for the following week at 9am. That day arrived and 9am went on by. Around 10am I called them. I was told "I will be out later in the day around 3pm" 3pm came and went. Around 5:30pm I got the call and I was told "I didnt forget about you" and asked if I was home. At that point I was not home. The man on the phone said its ok and that he will "get ahold of me tomorrow. Well tomorrow came went and no call at all. Then days ... now a month and still no call. I get you are busy and If nothing else you have my phones number ... just contact me and say you are busy. I'm sick of getting the run around from places, I should not have to hound someone to take my business. I went to another company that would give me the time of day, so sorry for the bad review, but I don't want to be a customer to someone who cant even bother to call or show up when they say they will. read more
