This place is very overpriced for the quality of the food. The salad bar is probably the only thing I really like and that's questionable.

Fantastic service every time we visit this location. One manager, Austin, always visits the tables and greets guests. The salad bar items seem to get replenished promptly. We always enjoy our meal. Restaurant has always been clean and tidy when we have been there. We've gone to other locations and don't have the same level of service or quality of food. read more

We came here for Mother's Day and were worried there would be a big long line out the door. They were nice enough to open the doors and let people in before they even opened. Each time we have come to dine here, we have always noticed that the place is astronomically clean and tidy. ALWAYS. The Manager, who ever it is at any given time, greets us personally and just as surely...says goodbye and thanks us for coming as we leave. (Just as the servers do) Everyone is so helpful and gracious as well. The Salad Bar there outdoes any other! We CAN'T figure out how it is ALWAYS so spotless and every container is kept full. The real delight tonight though was commenting to the staff about the Photo Art on the walls. The colors and subject matter are all crisp and clean looking and this ensures your visual enjoyment during your dining. Come to find out, the photos are of the owner, his wife, family, friends, etc. We enjoyed being filled in on the stories of some of the pics. It just made the experience that much nicer. I like this place a lot! The steak was good, expensive and juicy. They disappoint me with the lobster seeing as its not as big as the picture advertises, then again you pay for what you get. the potato was very good, literally fire 10/10. I understand because of COVID they are trying to be safe but they should really lower the price if that's all you can get is 1 visit. Depends on the service. The food is usually on point but we haven't been in a while because the last time we were there the server had a little bit of an attitude. She also didn't get a tip because of it. Tips are optional and based on the service received. Not required. These waiters and waitresses need to learn that. So we went there with my big family, 9 of us. They have new seating rules, seat yourself outside. Problem was, we had to make sure there was a place for all of us since we max out the per table covid rule. The impatient cashiers kept asking us about our order (no one was in line behind us) to which we said, we need to find seats first. We found seats , our order came, except mine, we asked about my plate to which the woman said, "where is the triple steak and shrimp plate (my daughters food). What did that have to do with my missing food. Well everyone's is almost done eating, I got my food (missing toast). asked for more shrimp immediately so I can at least eat with everyone and it took FOREVER! . just had dinner with my family . i had the salad bar . my family dinner (steak) was fine . i my case i was eating a ready made salad while i was chewing i felt something hard in my mouth i took it out and it was a chunk of some kind of broken plastic piece. i am thankful i didn't bite down on it . i spoke to the waitress and gave her the plastic piece she said that she was going to let her manager know . so now we are finished with our dinner and the manager never came over to see if everything was ok or to say sorry for what happen !!! most people would of made a scene to get something for free . all we were hopping for was at least are you ok and we are sorry , instead he decided to go have dinner with his family instead of checking on the situation. but NOTHING pretty sad !!! so for that they get one stars cause it will not let you do no stars and most likely will not return !!!! read more

Cannot say enough about THIS Sizzler. The customer service is amazing and the food is perfect every time. As frequent customers of high end steak houses, I can honestly say this location ranks right up there, and in fact would get a higher mark from me for being so consistent. For this reason, we make a point to stop for a great meal on our way through town, every time. The wait staff always wait table side until we cut our steaks open to check they are cooked to our request, and they check on us several times. The flavor and cook are always perfect. The salad bar is always clean, full and fresh. Even the restroom is always clean. Our last visit, Melissa provided exceptionally pleasant service, and returned several times with our "extra this and extra that" requests with the hugest smile and most friendly demeanor. On one of our previous visits, the evening manager brought it to my Moms attention he thought her lobster was overcooked, before she could even taste it and said he was bringing her a proper one right away. I think this explains why so many people are always ordering lobster when we come. Just a couple examples of how from top down this place is worth the stop whether this is your hometown or your passing through. Hats to the Manager, Christina who was bussing tables with a smile. The food was old. cheese was lumps with huge chunks in it, lettuce was discolored and old, very disappointing when you spent over $160, here only to go get some edible food from "taco bell" everyone left hungry. My family and I stopped by here on 12/30/17 (Saturday at around 2 pm). It wasn't too crowded as the lunch crowd had already dissipated. The overall taste and temperature of our food was pretty good. We had a philly cheese steak (really good), the bacon cheeseburger (slightly dry-not enough sauce), the classic streak trio (pretty good), and a salad bar (lots to choose from). By the way, the team at Sizzler (from the cashier, to the hostess, and to the person that delivered our food) were all friendly and seemed to like their jobs. Our server was Valeria. She was very attentive. Valeria got to us within a few minutes of sitting down at our table. She quickly brought us our drinks and 4 cheese toasts (excellent taste and yummy!). We asked for seconds a little later during our meal and she was happy to get it for us. She often times asked to fill our drinks and to see if there was anything else we needed. She also took care of a huge birthday table next to us. It was pretty obvious that she works smart and hard. It seemed both our family and the huge birthday table were getting good service by her. The gentleman who ushered us from the waiting line to the register to place our order, the gentleman who took our order who was so friendly and professional and then to Larissa who was our waitress and was fantastic! Spent $86.00 and wish I'd gone somewhere else. The hostesses/cashiers were more worried about other workers and flirting with them than ringing customers up. Zero assistance for what kind of sides we had to choose from, when she was paying attention to us she just stared waiting not offering anything by way of suggestions or help. We haven't been there for ages so it was kind of new to us being there and we told her so and she just stared at us. There were 2 girls behind the counter with the silverware after we paid and they kept talking amongst themselves flirting with guys in the back room. When I asked if we just seat ourselves or ?? One said oh yeah I can seat you. We were not offered bread and when I asked for it the server said it was by request only so I requested it and we never got it. We were not offered refills until the very end of our meal when we were almost finished eating. Needless to say we do t be going back. I hope other have a better experience. read more

Arrived around 9pm. Group ahead of me and my husband were know to manager and staff and were welcomed warmly. We had our order taken then given receipt only for card payment. Our other order information receipt was given to a lady who was supposed to sit us. Never happened as we waited by the registers a young blonde girl asked if we were wanting for something? We replied to be seated " she said just grab your silverware and sit anywhere.. okay we did.then waited for someone to bring our drinks and bread but no luck I had to ask for our drinks and was asked for our order receipt I informed the waitress that it was given to someone but she never came to serve us so she took our payment receipt. I had the Steak and Shrimp Skewers and my steak was cooked exactly as I asked, medium rare. I ordered a side of mushrooms and got a whole bowl full of them. My fiancee got the all you can eat salad bar and that goes without saying.. you could never go hungry or be disappointed with that, SO much to choose from. The main reason for my review is our server Cesar was phenomenal!! He kept coming to check on us and always added "its my pleasure" and a smile to all my "thank yous". I had left the area for about a year and a half and was surprised to see a Sizzler in Manteca. I had to try it out. My sister in law and I went for dinner and were impressed. I've been to this Sizzler a number of times and I've never been disappointed. The last couple of times my server has been Larissa. She's so efficient and friendly. My friends and I were kept in cheese toast the entire meal! I always get the unlimited salad bar because there's nothing like having my salad creation mixed together with my favorite dressing. The restaurant is lively and the salad bar is always well stocked and the hot food is fresh and delicious! This is one of the nicest Sizzlers in the Central Valley! read more

Maybe we went at a bad time or bad day? Arrived for lunch at around 12:30, on a Wednesday, thinking everything would be hot and fresh. Nope, salad bar mostly seemed to be leftovers from the day before, soups had formed film on top. Hot items were lukewarm and/or dried up. My friend asked the manager about this and he did say and have fresh items brought out. But why did it have to be mentioned? Very few selections. A lady wanted jello, we talked about how there's always jello!? Jello appeared but after she had left. The salad bar didn't have the correct items under the labels. I don't like imitation crab salad, it was under cucumber/tomato salad sign. When I got to the table it had a big chunk of crab in it. Yuck, wrong sign, wrong salad. It's a brand new beautifully decorated spacious sizzler with nice big screens BUT... We came here because I always loved their steak and endless shrimp with salad bar. It's the same set up as always where you walk in and look at the menu on the wall and go order at the register and pay before you get seated. An advise to Sizzler, even McDonalds have big screens as menus with video to attract people. Anyway, I ordered the steak skewer medium rare and salad bar. My girl ordered the philly cheese steak sandwich that looked really good on the wall picture. What we got: My steak skewer was well over done, which freaking bothers me so much because you as a cook should know your temperature. The veggies were so over cooked and they almost tasted like they were cooked on the grill to get the grill marks and kept warm in hot water including the corn that was moosh. The salad bar has gone down with quality. I mean all the food has gone down the tubes as I remember. My girl's philly Chz: It looked like when you mix ground beef with diced bell peppers and added velveeta cheese. And that's the way it tasted like a fast food joint mocking philli cheese steak sandwich. But the picture out front looks like thin strips of steak. Finally: I complained about my steak and veggies and the nice server offered to replace the steak and veggies for me, which was nice. I got the correct temperature steak and was good and a baked potato instead of the mooshy veggies. Last: we will never eat here again. read more
