Our waitress Gabby did a great job and she was super helpful. My wife is allergic to rice so Gabby made sure to check with the chef about cross contamination and what was good for her on the menu and what not. Super appreciative of that. My wife tried two different sans spirits drinks. The espresso tonic. I tried it also. Big no! It has tonic espresso and grapefruit juice. Those did not vibe. We sent it back. She then tried the Purple Rain and loved it. All in all, it's a good spot and I'm glad we tried it. I think next time we will go exclusively with the large plates. The miso eggplant was a nice sized appetizer for sharing and was seasoned nicely. The chicken ramen was also the perfect amount of spicy, had a good ratio of noodles to broth to vegetables, and was presented well. The dishes paired well with the matcha lemonade, which was aesthetically presented, had a subtle sweet lychee flavor, and was perfectly balanced. We sat down on a Sunday afternoon in a somewhat empty restaurant, and the menu prices kinda confirmed my suspicions ($20/ramen). We all ordered different bowls of ramen and tried each other's broths. All of it was very savory and delicious. Tan Tan Men - rich, thick, savory, sesame-flavored broth, minus the spicy oil since I'm a lightweight. Think a fusion of Chinese Dan Dan noodles + Japanese ramen. It was delicious. Tonkatsu - not to be confused with Tonkotsu (with an O) ramen bowls... this was the actual fried cutlet, which was on the small side. To me, it looked like it was advertised more like a side to a special dish ($10), but our waiter said it was really more of a standalone dish. It came with a bowl of rice and slaw. It was a perfect option for our kid, though they also have a kids' menu deal as well. Overall, it was a very delicious and pleasant experience. A Wine Lover's Paradise with Incredible Vibes! I recently visited Sixty Vines in Reston, VA, and I am absolutely blown away. If you are looking for a spot with a stunning aesthetic, top-tier service, and an innovative approach to dining, this is it. The Atmosphere & Vibe The dining space is gorgeous--spacious, bright, and beautifully designed with a warm, upscale-casual feel. You get a perfect view of the open, bustling kitchen, which adds a great energy to the room. They also have an incredible indoor/outdoor setup under a massive glass pavilion that opens up to the plaza. We got to enjoy a live band playing right outside while we dined, making the whole experience feel like a celebratory night out. The Wine-on-Tap System (A Peek Behind the Scenes!) What makes Sixty Vines truly unique is their massive selection of wine on tap. I actually got a look at their back-of-house cooler where they store the wine kegs, and it looks like a high-tech brewery but entirely dedicated to amazing wines! This eco-friendly tap system keeps every single pour perfectly fresh, from the first glass to the last. The Service The service here is impeccable. Our bartender was incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us through the tap selections with ease, and was so friendly and welcoming. Everything from the drinks to the food arrived quickly, and the staff made sure we were well taken care of the entire night. Whether you're coming for a lively date night, a family dinner, or just drinks at the bar, Sixty Vines delivers on every front. I can't wait to come back! read more

We recently had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite a hefty $500 bill for our table, the service was shockingly poor. Our waitress forgot our drink order and seemed completely disinterested when we reminded her. Her demeanor was unapologetic and bordering on arrogant, as if she owned the place. After waiting 30 minutes for a forgotten beer, we politely asked if we could receive a complimentary drink for the inconvenience caused to our friend. The waitress said she would consult the manager. But the manager appeared instead, who approached us with a rude attitude. Throughout our conversation, she casually put on chapstick, which we found incredibly unprofessional. While we understand that mistakes happen and didn't make a fuss about the forgotten drink, the manner in which both the waitress and manager handled the situation was disappointing and disrespectful. Customer service should be a priority in any establishment, especially one where patrons are spending considerable sums of money. We used to love this restaurant and often brought friends and family here for nice dinners and lunches. However, the service during our recent visit leaves much to be desired. Overall, the food may be decent here, but the service leaves much to be desired. We hope the management takes these points constructively to improve their customer experience. read more

My husband and I discovered Sixty Vines for a long-awaited date night and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we entered, the restaurant's vibrant yet intimate atmosphere set the stage for a perfect evening. The layout, with its mix of communal and private tables, provided an inviting space that felt both exclusive and welcoming. We began our culinary journey with the exquisite burrata, a texture and flavor symphony, enhanced by a robust pesto sauce. For drinks, while I savored a garden spritz mocktail with just the right zing of ginger, my husband enjoyed a selection from their extensive wine list, noting the perfect pairing it made with our meal. The highlight was the campanelle, which was flawlessly executed and beautifully presented. It was clear that the kitchen prioritizes both taste and presentation, making every dish a conversation piece. Sixty Vines excelled not just in their cuisine but in the warmth and attentiveness of their service, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the night. The experience was a reminder of how dining out can still feel personal and tailored, even in a bustling location like Reston Town Center. We left with the promise to ourselves to return and explore more of their offerings on our next date night. read more

Got a chance to drop into the new Sixty Vines in the Reston town center. The restaurant occupies the space formerly home to Clyde's next to the pavilion and across from the fountain. Walking in you are greeted by a well staffed host stand and to your right a long and beautiful bar area. If you find yourself waiting for a table there are comfortable couches and chairs where you can sit and take in the cozy atmosphere. Compared to many modern offerings in the RTC, Sixty Vines offers a much better lit dining area (perfect for those of us who struggle with menus in dimly lit places), and the music is not so loud that you can't hear each other over it. There are many wines from which to choose (as the name of the restaurant suggests) as well as twists on classic cocktails and some beer offerings. As for the menu honestly you can't go wrong. I made sure to try things I wouldn't think I'd like and absolutely nothing missed. The pizzas are about 10" if you like me were wondering. The service was top notch as is to be expected from the management team in place at this location. All smiles and very welcoming, more than willing to share their knowledge and opinions on the menu items. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a night out. read more

Upon a serendipitous detour en route to North Italia for our evening repast, we fortuitously found ourselves ensconced at the bar, where we were graciously attended to by the esteemed wine sommeliers, Dave and Jim. What began as an impromptu foray soon evolved into a delightful odyssey of oenophilic indulgence, as we were treated to an exquisite array of wines sourced from diverse corners of the globe. Amidst our vinous exploration, the pangs of hunger beckoned, prompting us to partake in the gastronomic delight of burrata atop toasted bread--a culinary revelation that captivated our palates with its unparalleled excellence. Enthralled by this gastronomic epiphany, we relinquished our prior commitment at North Italia, opting instead to linger in the inviting ambiance of our newfound haven. Throughout the evening, the staff exhibited a commendable blend of warmth and hospitality, readily engaging in enriching exchanges and shared anecdotes. I cannot praise enough the high tea at the Ritz Carlton. We gave my daughter a bridal tea shower,…read moreand it was so amazing all because of the staff ! I will say the restaurant is elegant and beautiful, and the food was savory and sweet just amazing, but it is the staff who went above and beyond to make the high tea memorable. This is my third bridal shower. I have given at the Ritz Carlton in Tyson's corner, and I would go no other place. Let me start out by mentioning a few exceptional people. I started planning this in the beginning of the year and Sriram Hariharan is one of the most giving, caring and supportive person I know. He put me in touch with all the right resources. He would follow up to see how things are going. I would say his detail to customer service and experience is exceptional. Next is Rohit Ray who assisted every step of the way helping me with my attendee numbers , the set up design and more. He was there throughout the whole party. Rohit's kindness and grace that is unwavering. Finally, our server Astrid. She oversaw my last shower in January and I know we were in good hands when I saw her last Saturday. she is truly A+. She made sure the event went smoothly. Was proactive in helping us get things organized, and when one of the guests reported she was a vegetarian she made changes so her tea party food was vegetarian. The entire celebration was impeccable. I had 26 people attend and one person shared they've experienced three high teas in London and the experience at this party was the best one yet. After the party ended, I received so many calls telling me how elegant the party was, how exceptional the service was. And how wonderful all the food was. I will give honorable mention to Smail and the director of valet who helped us bring up the party favors and flowers and more. my heart is full. It was a magical experience we will continue to talk about.

During dinner, there was live music which created a nice ambiance. I ordered the half roast chicken and chicken Bryani. The half roast chicken was disappointing. The breast was dry and flavorless. The bed of corn and beans reminds me of something you pull from the freezer. The chicken bryani could use more seasoning and spices. Dinner menu seems to be the same as the dinner menu from last year. Breakfast we ordered the chicken and waffles and also the lobster eggs Benedict. The chicken and waffle was cooked fresh. Chicken crispy and juicy. Waffle fluffy. The lobster Benedict was a let down. Eggs were cooked nicely but the lobster bits were mushy. Overall the room was nice and the food was hit or miss.

Nice place for a special occasion or just a nice dinner out.

3.7 stars! Tried this after a friend recommended it. This place has such an old school vibe but…read morestill felt like fine dining. The owner greeted us and even checked up on us a few times. He seemed to know a lot of the customers which makes it feel homey. They gave complimentary bread which came with butter, olive oil, balsamic, and other fixings. The bread was super soft on the inside and had a nice crunch from the exterior. My boyfriend and I ordered the calamari, scaloppini mare terra, fettuccini con funghi, and fettuccini al frutti di mare. In simple terms: calamari, a seafood vodka pasta, fettuccini alfredo w mushroom, and veal with lobster bits served with green beans and scalloped potatoes. Surprisingly, I didn't love the calamari. It had a good size but lacked flavor. It also could have been cooked a tad bit more for better color and texture. The fettuccini alfredo was super creamy and had such a strong mushroom taste! The veal was nice but a bit chewy for my liking. The scalloped potatoes were good but nothing special. However the star of the show was the seafood vodka pasta! It had such an amazing vodka flavor with loads of seafood! I have to admit, they put way too many calamari pieces and not enough of the other items mentioned in the dish. Another thing was that I found a strand of hair on my plate. When I notified the server, he said it was just from the green beans but would exchange it for me. Later, he explained that the "hair" was green bean skin.. which was odd to me considering the hair was turning black to white. I didn't appreciate him trying to make an excuse. I decided to look past it even though the server didn't apologize. Good first experience (other than the piece of hair). The seafood vodka pasta is def a must-have. The vibes are great and the owner makes you feel like family.

Fresh and warm, they had a crispy crust and a soft interior. They resembled mini ciabattas and were scrumptious with the butter. The salmon en croute blew me away! The steak was cooked to my preference, but it was bland. The fries were amazing, though. Crunchy yet fluffy. I wish the steak came with a sauce, like the one served with the salmon en croute. The service was good overall, and they were attentive. The ambiance was lovely - cozy and romantic. I can't wait to come back for the rolls and the salmon en croute, and to try their other dishes! Instead, I walked into what felt like a scene straight out of Ratatouille--an intimate Parisian French Bistro escape hidden in plain sight. Everything was exceptional: the ambiance, the service, and especially the food. Candlelit tables and soft French music from the 1950s and '60s filled the room, creating one of the most romantic settings I've experienced in a long time. The only thing missing was my beautiful wife! I couldn't believe I had the restaurant almost entirely to myself. I'm certainly not complaining--it made the evening feel even more special. Like Anton Ego discovering that unforgettable plate of ratatouille, every bite reminded me that truly memorable food doesn't require a professional critic's approval. It simply needs to make you feel something--and this meal absolutely did. From the incredible food and attentive service to the charming, romantic atmosphere, this restaurant earned a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. If you haven't been yet, bring someone special and experience it for yourself. You won't regret it!
