I had previously visited a Sixty Vines restaurant in Boca Raton and always enjoyed their offerings. Had lunch at the DC location today - the food was excellent. Had the buratta, the wood planked shrimp, pappadelle (sp?) pasta and the chicken sandwich. All outstanding - nice ambiance to the DC location as well. Check this place out - a great addition for the neighborhood read more

My friends and I made a dinner reservation for 7:30pm this past Friday night, expecting it to be crowded. When we arrived and checked in with the hostess at 7:30 we were told that they were running a bit behind but would let us know when our table was ready. No problem, it's a Friday night. Well after 30 minutes of waiting (30 minutes past our reservation time) we were told there were still 4 more groups ahead of us! We waited another 15 minutes while trying to decide what to do, and sent one member of our party to another restaurant where we were seated immediately. We told the hostess that we had waited 45 minutes past reservation time and were leaving. She just responded "okay." Not an apology? After all that wasted time? Crazy! I don't understand how they can be so poorly managed and seem to be so popular. I would recommend going elsewhere if you actually want to be seated and get a meal. read more

After WALK MS event, my team wondered over to sixty vines! It was delicious and the manager Ceren gave us delicious goodies and our entrees were soooo good! We loved our waitress Maria and made sure to tell her this in her tip as well! We will be back so will my loved ones! read more

Love this spot! from the amazing food, to the great atmosphere, and our attentive server Kelly- we truly enjoyed our time out and may have to make this our new spot. Thank you! read more

Yes, Yes, Yes! Not only does this place have amazing food, the service was amazing. Our waitress Aubrey was top-notch. We were first-timers at the restaurant, so we had asked Aubrey if she could make recommendations from wine to food. Everything was perfect. Aubrey asked us if there was an occasion for our dinner. I explained to her we were celebrating a friend's life who just passed that morning. After paying our bill Aubrey approached us and had a little box in her hand. Aubrey said "she was sorry we had lost our friend and that she understood our pain". She handed us the box with a beautiful candle in it. She said "I know it's not much but I hope it helps". Aubrey has a beautiful soul. We all three cried and hugged. Thank you sweet Aubrey for your kindness. read more

My son and I had lunch at Sixty Vines and it was fabulous. My son has celiac and we were shocked at home many gluten free options there were. Food he hasn't been able to have in ages such as friend chicken and zucchini. It was all delicious. The ambiance is lovely. However, the best part of the whole experience was our fabulous server, Lauren. She was fantastic - attentive and very friendly. Highly recommend. read more

My husband and I walked over after a movie. We were welcomed with a warm and inviting introduction at the bar by Misty. She's welcomed our preferences but provided suggestions to expand our taste. She was truly lovely. read more

Went here for a second time this weekend. The vibe is cozy and I enjoyed the open space. I got the pasta the first time but was not impressed by it as it was watered down with not much flavor. I decided to try this place again and I ordered the pork chop. I was not asked how to cook the pork chop but assume that it would be cooked well. I had a few bites and started to feel sick. I thought I would box it up and take the rest home that evening. I got home and took a few more bites and decided I would give the rest to my husband. We both got food poisoning from the pork chop and believe it was under cooked. I had even given my dog a bite of it and he got sick too. This was the only meal we both ate together. The service was decent but when i'm taking home a whole pork chop and not asked if my meal was okay, that should be a concern. I'm saddened that my whole family became sick from the pork chop that was under cooked. We most likely won't be back. I always give a place a second chance and sadly this was not the second chance I needed. read more

Four out of five not good enough! First four visits were great, thought it would be one of our regular places. Just went for a fifth time and we won't be returning. Service, ambience are great but food was terrible. Frittata, egg white and goat cheese, sounds bland. It was, until you bit into a hot pepper - then NOT BLAND. So, each bite either bland or burning, nothing good. Salmon salad had chewy and very smoky salmon. Too smoky to taste salmon. Bread was "fashionably" seared. Meaning just burnt enough to leave a hint of burnt in your mouth. We'll miss it. To be honest, it's a wine bar, good place to go with a group, have some wine and share some hors-d'oeuvres and enjoy the party. But if you're going out for a meal go elsewhere. read more

I've been looking for a wine bar/lounge so I was glad this place was on my google radar. Sixty has a nice clean esthetic and well thought out menu. They were really busy but my group and I were able to find seats at the bar. We had a magnificent time! The cheese, wine, ambience and service were on point. There were several bartenders serving us who were all wonderfully accommodating. I have to say that our bartender, Lauren, really stood out. Her understanding of all 60 wines on tap was really impressive. You can tell she really has a passion for wine and hospitality. She over heard me talking about my Lebanese father and offered me a sample of altocedro. She went on to tell me how Altocedro means tall cedar which is an homage to the winemakers Lebanese heritage. How neat!! read more

The wine, food, and service have all been fantastic each time I've been here. Came out recently for a birthday dinner for my mom and our server, Alexandra, was great at helping us each build a personalized flight of wine. She also gave great recommendations on appetizers and dishes. I had the Rainbow Trout entree and it was the most tasty cut of fish I've ever had (see photo). I've been on a weekend and Thursday evening, both times the ambience has been great with a full restaurant. Definitely will be returning in the future! read more

Service is very subpar!!!! You call this a high end restaurant when you hire bartenders that I would expect to see working at a McDonald's!!!!! I'm sorry but when I was that age I would be sent home for not shaving and that was 35 years ago!!!!! Cannot recommend this place I believe I could start up a restaurant of my own with the same concept, implement old school standards and be more successful!!!! read more

Wow! The renovation they did inside this restaurant is beautiful. It's open, spacious and has ambient lighting. It does not look like Clyde's at all. The owners must have put a lot of money in this place. My husband and I came in on Saturday in the early evening. We opted to sit at the bar. They have 60 wines on tap. Being a wine lover I was in heaven. I was really impressed how knowledgeable Lauren is on the wines! I told her I hate Chardonnay and that I like dry white wines, mainly Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough. She curated a flight for me and even found a Chardonnay and a Chenin blanc I love. My favorite was the alvarinho she added to my flight, I never would have tried it if she didn't recommend it to me. Adrian checked in with us a few times and was really helpful as well! They were very busy so I was really impressed how well they took care of the guests. There was a woman that appeared to be monitoring the bar staff which I found a little strange. She was standing against the back wall watching them during a peak time. My husband thought she might be a manager which is why she was standing there observing. I got her attention to tell her how wonderful our experience was but she did not appear to be interested in engaging with the bar guests. Hope this review finds a manager so that Adrian and Lauren can get props for a job well done! We will be back read more

Ambiance welcoming. Chairs comfortable. Service staff excellent. Food, hit or miss. Wide selection of wines as expected. Good place for adult night out. Pork pasta dish was rated highly as was another pasta dish. The pork chop was good but they substitute potatoes for roasted carrots without asking. That was the deciding factor for the selection thus leaving the misses irritated for not asking. The dinner salad with shrimp was unacceptable. I would have sent it back but didn't want to inconvenience friends. The shrimp were undercooked, one was raw and unedible, predominate taste was lighter fluid, and the amount of lettuce paltry. It should be listed under appetizers. Would I go back? Not of my own volition. read more

Sixty Vines is a great spot. I went here with a friend of mine on a Saturday night. My friend and I both ordered the bavette steak (very similar to flank steak). That came with a side of potatoes and mushrooms. Everything on my plate was excellent. Service was good, especially on a busy night. I can't wait to return! read more

The food and wine were both just kind of meh. I thought I'd give this place a shot and just did not live up to the hype for me. I did come during a slow time, so that may have impacted things. While I was there, a table sat dirty next to me the entire time, and this just might be me being old school, but I was not a fan of wine on tap. I know that's their whole thing, but I prefer the whole bottle experience. I think I'll just stick to Barcelona read more

First time eating here and did not disappoint. Combination of food + ambiance was fantastic. Has become a new family "go to" spot. Will be bringing back friends as there is plenty of seating options for larger parties, which is unusual in this area. Glad to have found this spot! read more

Ulysses wanted to take me to the town center for lunch since we did not do anything for my birthday yesterday. We were gonna go eat somewhere else but saw that sixty vines was finally open so we went in asked them for a menu. Let me tell you we were not disappointed! Our waiter Justin came to us right away. We told him it was our first time so he broke down the menu for us. I had a couple of questions because I like to know what I'm getting and how much food. We both wanted shareable food so he recommended the fried chicken and caviar he called it a "money maker". He wasn't wrong! Everything on that fried chicken was delicious from the flavor to the texture of the batter the caviar was fantastic a small little portion but very smooth and the dish was very nicely priced. We then went for the fig and prosciutto pizza. It was nice and light we shared that as well had 3 slices each it had a fair amount of arugula figs and prosciutto. The contrast in the flavors were esquís sit it was all topped off with honey. Finally for the drinks we decided to shake a wine flight they had a really good wine selection! That went from light to strong left to right. They also had some cocktails on the menu and some beer as well. All in all we give this place five stars it had great food it filled our stomachs as well as our hearts! We were smiling as soon as we took the first bite. And the service was phenomenal! Can't wait to come back with family and friends! read more

Two stars for the ambience, decor, and wine selection. Service was bizarre and food created an emergency situation for both of us later that night. Our waiter was more interested in being the center of attention and attempting to tell jokes than remembering our order. That alone was just about enough to keep us away for a while. The GI distress sealed the deal. We won't be back. read more

I'd would have love to have given a review on the food, but I didn't get an opportunity to eat. We had a 7:30pm reservation, they told us they were running a few minutes behind. We waited over 45 minutes for until we asked them what was going on. They never once had the transparency or respect to let us know that a few minutes was actually hours behind. Once we realized we weren't going to actually have time to dine on our reservation we left. It was the worst experience I've ever had. Atmosphere was loud and distracting, there was no service, and I would never think about going there again. Awful. read more

Went here on a date night and the food was amazing and the wines were really good. They even took us to the back to see where all the wines on tap come from which was amazing! read more

Good wine, good food, good service, and very good value. Definitely would return to try other wines.

Such a cool place to open up in the town center. They have a great selection of wines on tap. And it's really cool that you were able to do flights. I have been here twice, and the service is not great. There seems to be too many bartenders behind the bar, but not many of them actually, checking in to see if everything is Ok with food and drinks. The food was really good, and the wine was fantastic. I do recommend going here, hopefully they work out the service kinks and the service gets better with time. Only took a picture of the menu, forgot to take a picture of the food because we ate it too quickly.! read more

Overall disappointing for several reasons. When I walked in I was impressed by the bright ambience which was a pleasant contrast to the dimly lit Clydes. We were seated at a four top table, thankfully not at one of the long communal tables that seat 12. While the restaurant is bright and has high ceilings, it's very noisy and this was when 60% full. I can't imagine the volume when it would be full as the dining room seats over 270 people between the main large dining room, bar and private room at the back of the restaurant. Disappointments: There's no printed food menu. Only a QR code option. The expectation that the patron should be scrolling up and down to view a menu is annoying. The wines are over-priced with 2/5/8 oz pours. The roasted pork sandwich had potential but was over-spiced. Knowing it's a wine-focused dining experience I wasn't expecting much for a draft beer selection. There are no draft beers. Only a few can and bottle options. Once was enough. read more

SUCH A GREAT PLACE! We ordered a crispy zucchini, shrimp and smoked bacon pizza and pork chops. All these three dishes are very delicious and we finished them all. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and fancy, and our waitress is so nice! I would love to come back again! read more

My friend Renu and I had dinner there on March 12th. The service was haphazard. We had no waitstaff assigned, and the one who pitched in was game, but forgot to bring napkins until halfway through our meal, and didn't see my request for her attention for 15 minutes. I ordered the pork chop. It was bone dry, and so was one of Renu's two chicken breasts. She plowed through her order; I returned mine. The manager graciously offered to comp me on a replacement order. Having seen the results with both chicken and pork, I played it safe and ordered the same pizza I had ordered the only other time I'd been there. It was good as before. I was fine. Renu had an upset stomach that night. read more

I went to 60 Vines Reston on 9/28 for my birthday and received the most awful service ever! The waitress was rude and seemed annoyed to wait on us from the beginning. After waiting for an hour, we asked another waitress if we could place an order. She told us that our waitress "was aware" that we were waiting, however she continued folding napkins in the corner rather than come to our table. It took my daughter over 10 minutes to get ketchup with her cheeseburger. Needless to say, there was no birthday dessert! read more
