    I made a reservation off Expedia and the SIXT website told me that I could rent a car at the age of 20. Instantly I booked a plane ticket and flew over to Denver. I get to the car rental station and they tell me I have to be 21 and that I might've had the wrong "state location" when the directions clearly said you can rent in Denver. I showed that website falsely advertising that you can be 20 and she told me that the system won't let me rent a car. Nothing was done to help the situation so I rented with hertz. PLEASE FIX YOUR WEBSITE.

    As a first time customer I was impressed with Sixt....until several days after returning the car I get an email about a scratch (on a tire rim,barely visible) a little later the bill for that scratch (that I know I didn't do nor saw it during pre inspection) arrived. I felt scammed. Today that feeling was justified after reading in the news that Sixt is paying out $11 million in a suit for violating customer's rental agreements. The case is based on car damage charges to some Sixt customers.

    I was a first time customer at first everything was great until I tried to turn the car in the gas is 2 maybe 3 notches away from full and they tried to charger us 145$ because of that I take a lot of stuff but that's insane that's greedy and very dumb if you ask me do better ! never again !

    Oh wow. These reviews are terrifying. And sadly bogus damage charges me too. I rented a dusty Volvo. Half cleaned even inside. Sticky middle console. --- only to now get a email for a scratch. (They blamed me for) Then I submit photos proving it wasn't me... they didn't back down. Got an email for curb rash they are claiming is rim crack with an 800$ charge. So now they think all this curb rash happened in a 24 hour rental where the car sat in an empty garage? What bull. This is yearrrsss of curb rash from thousands of miles. Take better care of your cars and stop harassing me. Lot is full of scratches and dust. They don't even cover their cars in a snow state! I sadly overlooked taking photos of each rim. Avoid sixt. World wide but especially in Denver. Edit: also notice the bogus auto reply. I already called corporate. It's on you guys to take care of your cars better. And not on me to chase down corporate because your cars are trashed. Btw: here's another rental I refused because the scratches were extreme. I even got side eyed by the office for rejecting a scratched up car! MOST OF THE CARS ON THE LOT LOOK LIKE THIS. AND THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO BLAME YOU.

Then, while waiting in line at the Rapid Rez/Fast Break booth, the lady behind me told me they gave her the wrong car and she had to return to the Rapid Rez booth to have the car reassigned to her. Turns out the same thing happened to me because the lady in the booth sent me to the wrong car. I didn't know it until I was not able to exit the lot. Three cars behind me had to back up so I could return to Rapid Rez booth to stand in the blustery cold again and get the car reassigned to me. When I tried to exit for the second time, the man at the gate told me this car was not assigned to me either. I refused to go back to the Rapid Rez booth, so he personally ran back and corrected the issue. Turns out my Rapid Res rental took over 1 /12 hours! I have been a Rapid Rez member since 2013-- This is totally unacceptable! I rented from this Budget lot one year ago and had no problems so it appears someone needs to be retrained and management needs to pay attention....

Pricing is a bit higher than chains BUT it is worth it because you get the vehicle you are promised with no hassle, and you will be dealing directly with human beings that will answer questions you have in a timely manner. There are no hidden fees and they didn't try to gouge me for damage, wear and tear- some rental companies will do this but not these guys. Plus, you're supporting a local business. Highly recommend.

He told me the toll charge was $13, but failed to clearly explain that it was $13 per day, which felt very misleading. What made it worse was that I was asked to initial everything on a digital screen without being shown a clear breakdown of charges. After receiving the printed contract and reviewing it, I was honestly disgusted by how much I had been upsold. The vehicle we rented -- a Nissan Pathfinder -- was substandard and very dirty inside and out. While the car functioned fine for our four-day weekend and got us where we needed to go, the cleanliness and overall condition were unacceptable. Return was smooth, but once again there was an attempt to upsell -- this time offering a $20 charge to take our rental back to the airport. We declined. The shuttle service itself was decent, but the wait time from the airport to the rental facility was extremely long and overcrowded. They eventually had to call for additional buses. Overall, we were very disappointed with the entire experience and will not be using Fox Rentals again.

Longer lines, tension between the written word and the action, and a car that was possibly the worst performing car I've driven. The shuttle picked us up quickly, which was great! The driver was nice and helpful. Then, more than 30 minutes waiting, even after doing the online checkin. They needed to verify documents, so there is no benefit to the online checkin, you're in the same line as everyone. Was told I'd be charged a $200 deposit, no problem. Then, they charged a $250 deposit. That would have been ok, I just like to have words and action to match. The car was a standard SUV. The car was such a gutless gas-guzzling SUV. Returning the car was odd. I pulled up and into the line of cars. After 10 minutes, I began to go inside and a worker motioned for me to move the car over to the line next to the one I parked. I moved, he was gone. I just walked around the car and filmed its condition, took pictures of the clean interior, and the full gas level. I went to the bus. So very strange. And, the shuttle driver was great, a nice guy that was very helpful to everyone. The drivers earned the two stars.

    I'll never understand why these rental car places install 15-20 registration computers and then use…read moretwo or three of them at the most, leaving a line of folks to wait upwards of an hour. My wait was long; upwards of an hour after arriving by shuttle. The staff member was friendly, though I feel like the rates were all over the place. I also feel like they blast the music in the lobby so you can't hear with they're saying when they go over the rates. The electronic pad for signing didn't work so I guess I didn't need to really sign for anything. The most important point to ponder is: the car. The car, with all its 52K miles, is like new on the inside, well maintained, and clean, clean, clean. Because of this I jumped from two to three stars. The rates are a bit much, but the car is impressively good. Friendly staff, just not enough of them.

She said they can't guarantee AWD- even if they have a listing for such that you paid extra for (dont list as an option if you don't actually have). So she swapped us to another vehicle and said she'd comp the gas. When I returned the vehicle- they charged me for gas. So I waited in line again, and had to re-explain to another agent why I was given the discount. So double-check your statement for misleading billing.
